I'm in good mood today,so here another one~
---
"Group One: Chen Junting, Qin Lan, Gao Ming."
The moment Mu Jin announced the first group, murmurs filled the classroom. Almost half the students turned their gazes toward Qin Lan and Gao Ming, their eyes tinged with envy. These two were among the top ten in Class Nine, both Great Soul Masters, making them highly sought-after teammates.
Leaning back in his chair, Chen Junting's eyes gleamed with thoughtfulness. Having sparred with every student in Class Nine, he recognized the strength of his assigned teammates. Mu Jin's arrangements were indeed fitting.
Without paying heed to the students' reactions, Mu Jin continued, "The second group: Ning Tian, Wu Feng, and Nanmen Yun'er."
"The third group: Wang Dong, Dugu Xin, and Huo Yuhao."
"The fourth group..."
After finalizing the list, Mu Jin surveyed the classroom. "Does anyone have objections to their grouping? If so, speak now."
Silence.
"None? Good." Mu Jin nodded in satisfaction. She then set aside the list and glanced at a few students. "Some of you seem to be hesitating about whether to join the Soul Guidance Department. I encourage you to carefully consider your decision. Once you've made up your mind, come see me so I can reorganize the remaining teams. The deadline is today—no changes will be accepted afterward."
With that, she dismissed the class. "Class is over. The first two groups, stay behind."
As the majority of the students rushed out, some eager to bond with their new teams and others heading toward the Soul Guidance Department, only seven remained in the vast classroom.
Qin Lan and Gao Ming promptly approached their designated captain. "Boss Chen," they greeted in unison.
Qin Lan had a well-proportioned build, his long black hair streaked with silver at the front. A black mask concealed his face, adding an air of mystery. Gao Ming, in contrast, had a slender frame and an unassuming appearance that made him easy to overlook.
"Please guide us well," they said earnestly.
Chen Junting smiled in response. Their martial spirits were both formidable: the Kongming Ghost Leopard, an advanced variant of the Kongming Demon Leopard, and the Ruyi Disk.one was the top-ranked Agility Attack Soul Master in the class, and the other was second in the Auxiliary Department. Most notably, both came from commoner backgrounds.
"Satisfied with your teammates?" Mu Jin asked as she stepped down from the podium. Though her words were directed at everyone, it was clear she was addressing Chen Junting. The other two instinctively remained reserved in the presence of their homeroom teacher, while Chen Junting maintained his composure.
"Thank you for your consideration, Teacher," he replied respectfully.
Mu Jin smiled, then glanced at Ning Tian. "If you weren't already a Soul Elder, I would have placed you with them. Winning the freshman championship would have been as easy as reaching into a sack. What a pity…"
The group remained silent, fully aware of the academy's unwritten rules. Just as explicit regulations prevented two strong attack-type Soul Masters from being on the same team—to maintain balance—the same applied when a team had two Soul Masters. It would make winning inevitable.
Chen Junting, however, met Mu Jin's gaze with a confident smile. "Teacher, don't worry. We'll take the championship."
Mu Jin chuckled. "Jun Ting, you've got quite the bold streak. But that's good. Go and win it. You said it yourself."
She then turned to Ning Tian and raised three fingers. "Top three. That's my requirement."
Wu Feng, unwilling to be overlooked, thumped his chest. "Teacher, don't settle for top three! With Ning Tian, Nanmen Yuner, and me, we'll secure second place at least!"
"Sister Wu Feng!" Ning Tian scolded, though her tone lacked any real reprimand. As the future leader of the Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Sect, arrogance was in her bones, but she kept it restrained—especially in Chen Junting's presence.
Mu Jin, having taught for years, saw through the bravado. Her expression turned serious. "Remember, two other teams also have Soul Elders. Class Two's Xie Huanyue, a Defense-type Soul Master, and Class Five's Dai Huabin, heir to the White Tiger Spirit."
Ning Tian's eyes narrowed. Second place was still achievable. But when Mu Jin spoke again, everything became clear.
"Dai Huabin also has a fiancée—Zhu Lu."
The class fell silent.
"Soul fusion skill," Mu Jin continued. "Netherworld White Tiger"
Ning Tian immediately understood why Mu Jin only demanded a top-three placement. "No wonder…"
Chen Junting recalled how much time had been spent studying martial soul fusion skills in the past three months. His eyes flickered with understanding. Mu Jin had planned for this from the start.
A smirk formed on his lips. "Teacher, it seems you knew all along."
Mu Jin laughed. "A teacher must have her ways. Alright, enough talk. Focus on your teams."
---
Outside the teaching building, Huo Yuhao was already waiting. "Brother Junting! Sister Xiaotian! Sister Wu Feng!"
Chen Junting turned to his teammates. "Let's all go together and get to know each other better."
They nodded without hesitation.
"Not long now," Dugu Xin assured them, glancing at Wang Dong.
Curious, Wang Dong asked, "What did Teacher Mu Jin say after keeping you back?"
Wu Feng smirked. "Obviously, she announced the seeded champions."
"What did you say?! Big-tits girl!" Wang Dong shot back.
"Ahaha—"
Before they could escalate into a fight, Ning Tian intervened. "The assessment is tomorrow afternoon. We should train and refine our tactics."
Wang Dong, ever casual, waved it off. "We have great synergy already. No need for strategy—just fight through everything, right?" He glanced at Wu Feng, expecting agreement. But for once, Wu Feng remained silent.
"Hey—" Wang Dong began, but Wu Feng cut him off with an uncharacteristically serious tone. "Wang Dong! Correct your attitude! You're too arrogant!"
"Hah?!"
Ignoring them, Chen Junting and the others finalized their plan.
"Basic training won't be enough," Chen Junting mused. Images of four figures flashed through his mind. "Let's find Senior Beibei and the others to help us train. Four Soul Elders should be strong enough, right?"
"Agreed," Ning Tian immediately replied.
The others followed suit without objection.
As for Wang Dong and Wu Feng…
Their opinions didn't matter.(Lol)

High School DxD — Fan Chapter
Title: The King's Edict — King's Treasury
---
The night sky over Kuoh twisted into a canvas of doom.
Thunder rolled not from clouds, but from the countless golden rifts tearing open the sky, bathing the city in regal brilliance. From each portal protruded glimmering weapons of every shape and types
Spears tipped with star-forged edges.
Swords heavy with forgotten curses.
Axes that once split mountains in a single swing.
And many other treasure or artifact even if you name them one by one it will be never ending act.
In the center of all that stood a man,yes he was Him.
Gilgamesh,King of Heroes.
The source of all Myth,A man that ended the Era of Gods and bring dawn to Era of Man,A King that give hope to Humanity
The Rightful Owner of all known and unknown Treasure in the world
Everything that have values is only his and belong to him alone
Why?,Because that was his 'Right'
Any Treasure that other people held is just mere replica,a cheap knockoff.
Simply,a Fake product in attempt to posses this king greatness.
Cloaked in golden armor that shone brighter than any star, he looked down upon the gathered Fallen Angels as though beholding dirt upon his shoes.
"Mongrels..." His crimson eyes narrowed with disdain. "To think you would raise your weapons against me. Laughable."
The Fallen Angels — dozens of them, spears of light forming in their hands — grimaced. They had thought themselves hunters tonight, come to purge a mysterious intruder reported in their territory.
Now, they were wrong.
Very,very wrong.
How can they became hunter of such being?,is they even worthy?
Only action can prove their thoughts.
"Attack!!" the lead Fallen shouted, desperate to salvage pride.
Lances of light screamed through the air — hundreds, raining down like a meteor storm.
Gilgamesh didn't move.
He didn't need to.
A flick of his though, and his treasury obeyed.
The golden portals unleashed their fury. A tempest of Noble Phantasms roared forth, intercepting the rain of light midair, reducing it to harmless dust. Blades twisted like living serpents, skewering angels before they could blink. Hammers the size of chariots flattened others beneath their crushing weight.
The battlefield became a storm of metal and golden light.
"A futile struggle," Gilgamesh declared, arms folded as if bored of the spectacle. "Trash that does not know its place deserves no better."
One foolish Fallen Angel dared to charge directly, weaving between the projectiles in desperate bravery. He managed to close the distance, thrusting his spear of light toward Gilgamesh's heart.
But before the tip could even reach his armor, a crimson axe emerged from a portal at point-blank range, cleaving the attacker in two without fanfare, making a gore scene that make people puke.
Clang
His demise was as effortless as a guillotine's fall.
"My vault contains the spoils of every era,you should be grateful can witness my treasure and brilliance" Gilgamesh spoke, his voice both a declaration and a sentence of doom. "There is no realm of battle in which you mongrels may triumph."
Another wave of enemies tried to flee — a futile gesture.
Gilgamesh extended his hand toward the horizon, and the sky itself seemed to fracture under the weight of his authority. Thousands more golden rifts bloomed like lotus flowers in the firmament.
What followed was annihilation.
Weapons cascaded like divine wrath, bombarding the fleeing army. Explosions of steel and magic tore the earth. The heavens wept fire as entire squads of Fallen Angels were reduced to ashes.
Within moments, the battlefield was silent.
Only Gilgamesh remained, standing untouched amidst a field of smoking craters and fallen foes. He gazed at the carnage with detached amusement.
"Hmph. Barely a moment's entertainment."
The golden portals spiraled shut, returning to slumber until next called.
From the shadows, distant watchers — Devils and exorcists alike — trembled at the sight. Whispers spread like wildfire.
Who… no, what is this man? A monster in the shape of a king.
A living disaster?
Or a miracle?
But they know one thing, with his appearance Era of Human will surely begin
With Gilgamesh,Human will no longer ordinary, will no longer just bystander,Human will became a Prime Species that should dominates this planet
Yet,Gilgamesh paid them no mind, not because he don't care,it just don't worth his attention,if human of this era chose to follow him he has to prove his worth
Because Gilgamesh accept no trash or insignificant people that only bring taint to his glory!!
His gaze drifted to the distant moon, and with a smirk of kingly pride, he spoke as if addressing the entire world.
"Remember this well, mongrels. The King of Heroes walks among you. Bow your heads… or be trampled beneath my vault."
The night swallowed him whole, leaving behind only the legend of a king who needed not to fight — for his treasures fought in his stead.
