Chapter 109 - Chapter 109 – Test Run (Part 1)

"With that configuration, the Audi A4 must cost over ¥2,000,000 (≈ $275,180), right?" No way, I heard online it's between ¥300,000 (≈ $41,280) and ¥700,000 (≈ $96,310)."

"Seriously? With all this tech? It has to be over ¥700,000 at least."

"If it's in the millions, I'm out. I'd have to sell a kidney."

"Let's not panic yet. They haven't announced pricing."

The press conference was already a hit.

From the engine to the safety to the bombshell warranty policy—Haifeng had laid it all out.

But now?

He was about to raise the stakes again.

"Since you all now have a clear understanding of the A4," he said with a calm smile,

"let's move from theory… to practice."

"We've arranged a live test run—so you can see with your own eyes what this car is capable of."

The audience perked up.

"No way—they're doing a live demo?"

"Okay, now this is getting serious."

"Wait… that racetrack wasn't just for show?"

People buzzed as two Audi A4s were driven onto the test track.

One was equipped with the 1.8T engine, the other with the 2.0T.

Both gleamed under the sun as they circled the field, then accelerated—and began drifting.

The curves were tight, the control razor-sharp.

Even without top speed, the precision left the crowd stunned.

But that was just the warm-up.

Two ramps stood in the center of the track—two meters high, spaced nearly five meters apart.

When the first Audi approached at speed, the audience froze.

"Are they… jumping that? In a sedan?!"

"That's movie-level stunt work!"

"I've never seen a family car try something like this!"

"That distance isn't a joke," someone whispered.

"It's like two cliffs. One mistake, and it's a total disaster."

People held their breath.

Even if the jump cleared, could the suspension take the landing?

"If this were a Japanese car, it would snap on impact," a viewer muttered.

"That's not even a dig. It's just facts."

And then… it jumped.

The Audi flew into the air—clean, stable, robust.

"It's crashing! No, wait—"

Boom. It landed. Hard.

But not a wobble. Not a dent.

It was just smooth driving straight off the ramp.

The crowd erupted.

"What the—?! It landed clean!"

"That was INSANE!"

"That was not a stunt. That was real."

People cheered, shouted, filmed, and even cried out in disbelief.

Online viewers were losing it:

"This isn't a press conference anymore—it's a revolution."

"What luxury car would DARE do this?"

"Mercedes? BMW? Volkswagen? They wouldn't touch this with a ten-foot pole."

Haifeng, watching from the sidelines, smiled faintly.

In my last life, this kind of demo was nothing special.

Everyone did it. It was standard.

But here? It's a miracle. That's how far behind this world is.

And that's what made it so powerful.

A single leap—across five meters of air—was all it took to shake an entire industry.
