Chapter 32 - Sasuke's Brutality

The forest's oppressive silence was shattered by the cacophony of the Sound Team's assault.

Dosu's amplified sound waves, like a sonic assault, ripped through the air, disorienting and overwhelming Sakura and the unconscious Naruto.

The air itself seemed to vibrate, the ground trembling with the sheer force of his chakra-enhanced screams. "Hear the symphony of destruction!" Dosu roared, his voice a distorted, grating rasp.

Zaku's wind-based attacks, like invisible razors, tore through the foliage, creating a whirlwind of razor-sharp gusts that threatened to shred anything in their path."Feel the wind's embrace!" Zaku cackled, his arms slicing through the air, sending gusts of wind towards Sakura.

Kin's senbon, laced with subtle bell chimes, danced through the air, seeking to exploit any openings in Sakura's defenses. The faint, melodic chimes, deceptively soothing, masked the deadly precision of her attacks. "Listen to the lullaby of death," Kin whispered, her eyes gleaming with a cruel amusement.

Sakura, her face pale but her resolve unwavering, stood protectively over Naruto, her kunai flashing as she desperately deflected the barrage of attacks.

Sweat streamed down her face, her breath coming in ragged gasps, but she refused to yield. "I won't let you touch them!" she screamed, her voice strained. "Not while I'm still standing!"

Sasuke, still reeling from the Curse Mark's initial impact, struggled to gain control over curse mark despite orochimaru's remnant gone.

But slowly steadily he is gaining control over curse mark & feeling the increase strength.

Hidden within the dense undergrowth, Team 10 observed the unfolding chaos.

Shikamaru, his brow furrowed, analyzed the situation, his eyes darting between the Sound Team's coordinated attacks and Sakura's desperate defense. "This is bad," he muttered, his voice low and urgent. "They're overwhelming her. We need to act now."

Ino, her hands trembling slightly, prepared to initiate her Mind Transfer Technique. "They're too coordinated," she whispered, her voice tight with tension.

"If we don't do something, she's going to get seriously hurt. And Naruto... he's completely defenseless." She looked at Shikamaru, her eyes filled with a mix of fear and determination. "I can try to disrupt Dosu, but it'll only be for a moment. Someone needs to create an opening."

Choji, his eyes wide with a mix of fear and determination, readied himself for a diversionary attack. "I'll try to draw some of their attention," he said, his voice low and determined. "Just give me the signal."

With a swift, coordinated strike, Team 10 sprang into action. Shikamaru's shadow snaked across the forest floor, binding Zaku's legs, momentarily disrupting his wind attacks.

Ino's consciousness flickered, her mind briefly inhabiting Dosu's, causing him to stumble and lose focus. "What... what's happening?" Dosu stammered, his voice distorted.

Choji, with a guttural grunt, expanded his arm, creating a large, fleshy shield that deflected Kin's senbon barrage.

The momentary disruption created a crucial opening. Sasuke, his Sharingan now fully adjusted, seized the opportunity.

The dark energy of the Curse Mark pulsed through him, amplifying his speed and strength. With a chillingly calm demeanor, he moved like a blur, his movements precise and deadly.

He closed the distance to Dosu, his kunai a silver flash, and with a single, brutal strike, he severed Dosu's head from his shoulders.

Zaku, still partially bound by Shikamaru's shadow, could only watch in horror as Sasuke turned his attention to him. With a cold, detached expression, Sasuke unleashed a flurry of taijutsu strikes, each blow landing with bone-crushing force. Zaku's screams were cut short as Sasuke's final kunai caved in his chest.

Kin, witnessing the brutal efficiency of Sasuke's counterattack, her eyes wide with terror, turned to flee. Sasuke, however, showed no interest in pursuing her. He stood, his posture calm, his Sharingan scanning the surroundings, the dark energy of the Curse Mark radiating from him like a malevolent aura.

Team 10, their faces pale, watched in stunned silence. The sheer brutality of Sasuke's actions, his cold, detached demeanor, sent a chill down their spines. Shikamaru, his brow furrowed, exchanged a worried glance with Ino and Choji.

"We need to leave," Shikamaru said, his voice low and urgent. "Now."

They exchanged a brief warning, a cautionary glance at Sakura, then quickly retreated into the dense foliage, leaving Team 7 to deal with the aftermath of Sasuke's actions. Team 7 now had both the Heaven and Earth scrolls.
