He had gotten a lot done. His Body was now up to 12 and he had only gotten stronger with his weight reaching 380lbs(172.36kg). The grind became a bit tougher as he couldn't get any Body XP in the training shard anymore, but he has the gym for that.
His Athletics has also reached the maximum human limit as his flexibility and stamina recuperation became pretty damn good. The XP requirements also shot up quite a bit.
The Stealth training was fun as he got put in varying degrees of difficult situations to sneak past enemies and such. Sniper Rifles were from Cool and he got that leveled up quite a bit.
Knowledge and muscle memory across all stats were great. Reflexes gave him better agility and reaction time.
Intelligence saw some improvements as he changed his Icon to something more similar to his jacket design. The name Marcus had Roman origin so he had his Icon consisting of a western dragon head with Roman armor which he thought was sick.
His ammo and mags were all in his inventory ready to go. The duffle bag was now empty which he placed in his inventory as well.
Marcus decided to hold off on getting a holster for his Kanabo and just wanted one for his knife.
Now it was time to leave, but something made him pause. Sure, a lot of his stats are harder to level up now, but he didn't want to get capped in the middle of the fight, but the problem is that he'd get the pain and memory influxes in combat which was not ideal.
Is there a way to level up but hold off on the changes until he decides?
Request received. Changes made.
That answers that. He grinned in relief.
He had his Malorian and Liberty with a silencer on his utility belt as he filled the ammo holders with Malorian mags.
Flashbangs would also be good as there were four clips for them, two on the front and two on the back.
Making his way over to Wilson's, he stepped inside the shop and he was recognized.
"John! What can I do for you?" Wilson greeted him.
"Hey, Wilson. You got a sheath for a knife and four flash bangs?" Marcus asked.
The shopkeeper stroked his chin in thought.
"Flashbangs for sure, but let me check in the back for a sheath." He went back as the taller man waited.
A few minutes later he appeared with something in his hand.
"Got one. This will cost ya 100 eddies with each flash being 25." He informed him of the price.
He just nodded.
"I'll take four and the sheath." Marcus sent over 200 eddies and Wilson handed over the items.
Strapping the sheath to his left thigh, and attaching the flashbangs to his belt, he headed out.
"See ya, Wilson!" He waved.
"Come again, John!" Wilson reciprocated.
Marcus went down the elevator and out into the lively streets of Night City.
The hustle and bustle is quite chaotic but he keeps on walking following the note he made on the map.
It took about 10 minutes of walking before he spotted it.
He was still by the main road but he took a look into an alleyway and saw the building.
Calling it an alleyway might not be too accurate as there was quite a lot of room between buildings, so a walkway may be more apt.
There weren't any homeless people around and that sorta makes sense considering Scavs were here and they didn't wanna be picked up.
What drew his interest was a van parked on the side of the walkway that had a couple of crates.
He was walking towards the building but stopped as he saw two scavs carrying another two crates probably to load in the vehicle.
This could be an opportunity.
Now he should try and figure out their numbers so he had to do a little netrunning.
Scanning one of the scavs, he started to breach through the dude's ICE, and with his upgraded proficiency it took several seconds before he uploaded Ping.
He saw eight more of them inside and it looked to be the third floor, but couldn't get a more accurate read. There was also an access point on the side of the building.

Marcus slowly walked up to the two scavs loading in the crates and drew his suppressed Liberty.
He fired two shots and they both hit the ground.

Dragging the bodies to be hidden from the apartment entrance, he shut the van doors, hoping no one would get too curious so he could take it for himself.
Looting the bodies, they had two Unitys and credchips that equaled 500 eddies. These guys were more broke than the goons that robbed him before.
Shaking his head in amusement, he went around the building and found the Access Point.
He jacked in and it took him about half a minute to break the ICE.
+100 Breach Protocol
Marcus, with his little accomplishments in Programming, was able to write a data miner and steal some money off a few devices. He didn't do that to the actual people connected because that would be very noticeable. He got about 1000 eddies in total which was nice for a run-down apartment.
He also didn't touch one of the computers that was in use. Giving a Ping, he noticed that the floor that had such use had others around it, so safe to say that one of the scavs was on it. Best not to draw attention until the last moment.

Making his way inside, he didn't notice anyone as he ascended the stairs, but once he was about to head up to the third floor, he slowed down.
He took his time going up and noticed a guard standing outside a door to his left.
Aiming his Liberty, he fired another shot just as the man laid eyes on him and he dropped. He ascended quickly clearing the stairwell.

There was nothing else and stored a Guillotine in his inventory with another credchip of 300 eddies. A bit better.
The door that the scav was guarding was shut, so he scanned it. Opening a door would be easy with his current proficiency, but he went a step further and Ping it to get a better understanding now that he was on the same floor.
It was at this point that he knew there wasn't a netrunner or he'd be counterhacked. He saw one scav right behind the door, another further ahead, and five more to the right all sitting near each other.
Opening the door, with his Liberty drawn, he was immediately blasted with loud music and the scav was huddled over a microwave.
Marcus stepped inside and took a quick look to his right and left seeing nothing. To his right was an open door and he could see the back of the heads of scavs. That's where five should be and there was a door in front of him off to the left from the microwave.
He quietly put his Liberty back into the holster and unsheathed his knife.
Moving slowly until he got within arms reach, he tightly grasped the scav's mouth and shoved the knife into his throat as the blood splattered onto the microwave.
The body went limp and he slowly set him down and dragged him towards a 'U' shaped counter that hid the body from the main room.

Next, he scanned the door with a lone scav and unlocked it.
What he saw was typical scav behavior.
The dude had a mask and apron as he dug out cyberware from his victim's body.
Holstering the gun once again, he performed the same move but didn't bother hiding the body this time.

He'll loot this and the guy from before later, but he saw a cabinet and opened it. There was actually a Maxdoc inside so he stashed it into his inventory.
Marcus didn't see anything else useful other than bloody cyberware, but he did see a crate near the door so he opened it. Inside were clean implants, so he decided he would take it, but he would leave it for last.
As he looked around, he didn't see any cameras, so he pulled out his Kyubi from his inventory and slowly made his way to the door where the rest of them were.
He peeked around the door and noticed four people sitting on the couch as the music blared and even a guy at the computer at the end.
Now it's show time. His plan would be to take out the farthest guy as he'd have cover in the form of the desk and deal with the rest of them. After a few seconds of plotting, he got ready.
His utility belt was cool as all he had to do was pull the flash off his belt and throw it, as the pin was hooked onto the belt.
Pulling the flash and throwing it onto the couch, he swung from the door with his Kyubi raised and fired a shot at the guy on the PC. It was a headshot. The flashbang went off as he heard shouts of panic.
Marcus picked each of them off as they were disorientated.
All that was left was the blaring music filling the room.

'That was…easy.' He didn't know what to expect. Whether he overtrained, or his system with muscle memory and knowledge was busted, he didn't know, but it went far better than he expected.
Stealth, obviously, helped a lot along with their poor awareness and lack of patrols. They were completely relaxed inside which made it a breeze.
He looted everything up in the room and got a total of 2200 eddies, 3 Unitys, 1 Copperhead, and an Overture. Not the worst haul.
Marcus pulled out his personal link and plugged it into the monitor as it was left open, so no ICE breaking here.
He found out some interesting information.
These guys were meeting a squad leader by the name of Gear from Maelstrom for a transaction of cyberware. It explains why they're loading up the van outside. They were meeting in an hour.
Marcus made a note on the map as he saw the address. Rookie mistake.
If that wasn't bad enough, there were a few more places marked for other scav operations here in Watson. He made sure to note them too.
Now that he was done, he scoured the room a bit before finding a Tactician shotgun that he stashed in his inventory, and also a keychip inside the desk for the van. Sick.
He strode out of the room feeling victorious as he looted the other two bodies that had a Lexington and even a Shigure that was strapped to the wannabe ripperdoc's chest under the apron. Together they had 900 eddies in total.
Grabbing the crate, he made his way downstairs and out into the walkway. As he got closer to the back of the van, it automatically unlocked and he opened the back putting the crate inside.
There was a total of five. He checked all the crates as they were filled with cyberware and he scanned as many as he could. They were all old-gen stuff. Personal links, optics, chipslots, and so on. He didn't know where to sell this stuff, but he'd figure it out.
Marcus hopped into the front seat and turned on the radio.
I really want to stay at your house
'Nice.' He smiled as he drove off for the first time on the real streets of Night City.

I mean come on. This was light work, but some good gains and opportunities for more.
Hope you enjoyed!
Peace!
