The study of the case of Jonathan Taylor. A college student went missing after leaving an number of notebook filled with repeating words written over and over again, "Watching"
His strange demeanor has caught the eye of the college. He would sit in the middle of the canteen and would occasionally look upon his shoulder like someone had been... Watching him...
Although for sure we still don't know who or what has been "Watching" him, we are also not sure if his condition is probably due to some undiagnosed mental issue such as schizophrenia. But we did some digging in Taylor's family medical records history and found nothing.
But when we found his notebook we realized that this was not simply just a normal case. His belongings are still intact in his house untouched, with dust covering most of them. It seemed that he had gone missing for quite some time, but only this time did they actually call our organization.
After checking his house we stumbled upon his basement. The basement is damp, and the air is stagnant and thick. We struggle to breathe. After a while, we adjusted to the air inside the basement. The basement is dark, and the light bulbs had blown out leaving shrapnel of glass on the floor.
We turn on our torch. The basement was empty with nothing but some tables. I came closer to the table, and sure enough, the table was covered in dust. But something caught my eye. In the middle of the table, there is a rectangular mark free from the dust. It's like someone had been picking up something earlier.
I informed organization members who were present that day, and they were also sure that someone might have been there before. So after that, the place is now under surveillance; we want to keep an eye on it, hoping someone might come back to the house.
That day, I was organizing some files in my office, and my phone rang. It was a message sent by a member who was in charge of conducting surveillance in the house. He sent me a picture, although maybe because I didn't sleep properly or some weird effect from my medication, I saw a black slender body creeping in through the window. I told him what I saw, but he then informed me that the members there found nothing except some of the items were gone. There is no sign of an unwanted trespassing or a sign of humans at all.
I drove there ignoring the speed limit as I wanted to see it with my own eyes. I arrived at the scene and immediately went into the home and saw members of organization standing there stuck and didn't know what they should do. And then David, who had been there the whole time, told me what the suspect might have been taking. It was another note that we have already taken a look at. Inside, the content was similar but with only different words, "SAVE ME," and the handwriting began to become unrecognizable. Then we decided to keep an eye on this house, and soon, the case was immortalized in the archive.
