Chapter 17 - No... No, this can’t be true... (R-18)

I leaned toward her, my lips seeking hers in a passionate kiss. Our breaths mingled, and I felt her body tense again, her muscles contracting around me. She let out a muffled cry, her body trembling with ecstasy.

I continued to move, savoring every moment, every moan that escaped her lips. Her hands slid down my back, caressing my skin, before resting on my hips, pulling me closer to her.

Suddenly, I felt a sting in my neck, and her ecstatic moan.

*'That hickey is brutal. Is she the wild type?'* I thought.

But the euphoria of the moment was too strong for me to dwell on it. I closed my eyes, letting myself be carried away by the pleasure building inside me.

Sabrina arched beneath me, her nails digging into my shoulders. "Don't stop," she moaned, her voice pleading.

I couldn't. I didn't want to. I continued to move, my thrusts becoming faster, more desperate. She wrapped her arms around me, pulling me close, and I felt her body contract again, a wave of pleasure overwhelming her.

Sabrina caressed my back, her fingers tracing soothing patterns on my skin. I slowly sat up, looking at her with a satisfied smile.

"That was... incredible," I murmured, my voice still trembling with adrenaline.

She smiled, her eyes sparkling with mischief, before pulling me close. "You held up better than I thought."

I laughed, collapsing beside her, but my mind was foggy. A strange fatigue was creeping over me, as if my body had been drained of all energy.

*'Damn, I've got shit endurance.'*

I stood up, slightly staggering, and headed to the bathroom. In the mirror, my reflection showed a guy who looked exhausted, his complexion slightly pale, dark circles under his eyes.

*'But damn... I did it.'*

A smirk stretched my lips. Mission accomplished.

Returning to the bedroom, I sat on the bed and grabbed my phone. Several unread messages, including one from Hassan:

*[Hassan: Carter told me you left with a girl. You didn't screw up again, did you?]*

*[Me: Who do you take me for? I crushed it, man.]*

I then felt a warm wetness on my neck. Sabrina wrapped her arms around me from behind, her lips brushing my skin before leaving a series of hickeys.

"I'm a bit tired, Sabrina," I admitted, closing my eyes.

"Alright~," she murmured, her voice soft and enveloping. "Don't worry, I'll take you home."

"Ah, thanks."

"I'm not gonna leave my prize alone at night," she giggled, nibbling on my earlobe.

"Oh, you're the possessive type?"

I turned to kiss her, tasting her lips. She laughed before helping me get dressed.

A few minutes later, we were in her car. My dad was probably working the night shift, so I didn't have to explain myself.

Arriving home, I dragged myself to my room, my legs feeling like lead.

"You sure you're okay?" Sabrina asked, following me.

"Yeah, just need to sleep."

I collapsed onto the bed, already feeling sleep engulf me. She sat beside me, stroking my hair.

"Rest well... You'll need it."

My awakening was brutal. My mind was numb, drowned in a thick fog, and a throbbing pain radiated from my neck to my skull. An unbearable itch tormented my skin, but what alarmed me most was the thirst.

My throat was so dry I couldn't even speak. Every attempt to swallow my own saliva was agony. I painfully sat up, my legs wobbly, and stumbled to the kitchen. My entire body felt foreign, as if it no longer belonged to me.

*'A monstrous hangover.'*

I grabbed a glass of water and downed it in one gulp, hoping for instant relief. But instead of easing the burning inside me, the water seemed to make things worse. A sudden nausea twisted my stomach.

*'Shit!'*

The glass slipped from my hands and shattered on the floor. My breath quickened, my heart pounding against my chest like a mad drum. But it wasn't just my heart.

Another beat...

A deep, rhythmic, steady sound.

I looked up, searching for its source. It was close. Very close.

Without thinking, my steps carried me toward the source of this hypnotic beat. The closer I got, the faster it became.

My dog.

Lymboo was there, sitting in a corner of the living room, his tail weakly thumping the floor. His eyes fixed on me, full of worried confusion.

My breath grew heavy.

A chill ran down my spine.

Then everything turned red.

I jolted violently, a silent scream trapped in my throat.

My hands trembled. My chest rose and fell with the frantic rhythm of my disordered breathing. I cast a panicked glance around me. My room was bathed in a soothing dimness, barely disturbed by the sunlight filtering through the curtains.

"What a strange dream..." I murmured, trying to calm my racing heart.

I ran a hand over my sweat-soaked face.

"I attacked my dog? That's ridiculous..."

"Lymboo!"

I called my faithful companion, but no bark answered.

A slight tingling on my neck caught my attention. I touched it and grimaced at the sharp pain under my fingers.

Then another, far stranger sensation disturbed me.

My mouth had a weird taste. Both sweet and... metallic.

I ran my tongue over my lips, trying to identify this unusual flavor. It was the first time I'd felt something so peculiar. An unknown taste, almost... intoxicating.

Then a detail caught my attention.

"I've got hair in my mouth?!"

I instinctively spat and pulled out a black hair stuck to my tongue.

A wave of disgust overwhelmed me.

"Damn... I don't remember giving Sabrina a cunnilingus... That's gross!"

But as I looked closer at the damn hair between my fingers, my stomach knotted brutally.

"Wait..."

My breath caught.

"That's a dog hair..."

My blood ran cold instantly.

"Lymboo...?"

My heart skipped a beat.

I stood up abruptly, but at the same moment, my gaze fell on my shirt.

Stained with blood.

Everywhere.

A chill of horror ran through me.

"WTF...?"

My body trembled.

"No... No, this can't be true..."

My brain refused to accept what I was seeing. I rushed toward the bedroom door, opened it with a frantic gesture, and dashed toward the living room.

But as I passed the window...

"Aaaaaahh! Shit!"

A burning pain attacked me violently.

I jumped back, almost stumbling. My skin felt like it had been plunged into a bath of acid.

I turned to the hallway mirror, my breath erratic, and what I saw froze me in place.

Red patches covered my face, swollen blisters already forming on my skin, as if the mere contact with the outdoor light had assaulted it.

"What the...?"

Then my eyes fell on my neck.

A deep bite mark in my flesh, just under the skin.

Dark, pulsing veins extended in sinister, fine ramifications all around it.

"Shit..."

My heart raced, panic surged through me like an uncontrollable wave.

"What the hell is this?! Shit, shit, shit!"

I tried to stand up, but the floor tilted beneath my feet.

Then everything went black.
