Chapter 2 - The New Hero

As the dust settled, Kaiser stood victorious amidst the wreckage. The wyverns lay defeated, and the civilians cheered.

Then The system popped up,CONGRATULATIONS HOST,YOU HAVE DEFEATED 19 WYVERNS!YOU RECEIVE 1,900 EXP POINTS.

Kaiser said in his mind "It seems i have accumalated enough exp points,System Now increase my strength!."

System said "SORRY,BUT YOU HAVEN'T UNLOCKED COMPLETE AND FULL VERSION OF SYSTEM,SO ALL YOU CAN DO IS ACCUMALATE EXP,BUT TO USE IT,YOU NEED TO UNLOCK FULL VERSION."

Kaiser said "what the hell!,i cannot use any of my exp points?.

But before Kaiser could catch his breath, a swarm of reporters and camera crews descended upon him.

"Who are you?" a reporter shouted, microphone in hand.

"Where do you come from?" another asked.

Kaiser hesitated, unsure of how to respond. He didn't know much about this world or its customs.

Just as the press conference was becoming overwhelming, a helicopter thundered onto the scene, sending debris flying. A man with piercing green eyes and a group of military officials emerged from the aircraft.

The officials pushed through the crowd, clearing a path for Kaiser. The green-eyed man approached Kaiser, his expression stern yet intrigued.

"I am Commander Thompson of the 55th Division," he said, his voice firm. "Why don't we have a private talk, Hero?"

Kaiser mumbled to himself, "A hero..." The term still felt unfamiliar, but he was eager to learn more about this world.

Commander Thompson's offer seemed like the perfect opportunity. Kaiser agreed, and together they boarded the helicopter.

As they took off, the press and media continued to buzz, recording every moment. The footage of Kaiser departing with Commander Thompson was broadcasted live, further catapulting Kaiser to fame.

By the end of the day, Kaiser's name was on everyone's lips. The mysterious hero who had saved the city from the wyvern attack had become an overnight sensation.

Kaiser sat at the military headquarters, devouring a massive amount of food with reckless abandon.

Commander Thompson and the other soldiers watched in awe, their expressions a mix of confusion and amusement.

One of the soldiers whispered, "Is he really a hero, Commander? He doesn't seem like one. He's just a foodie."

Commander Thompson chuckled. "Yes, it's difficult to believe he's a hero, but he's the one who eliminated the wyverns. Let's not judge him too harshly."

The Commander sat across from Kaiser. "Kaiser, can you tell me a bit about yourself?"asked the commander.

Kaiser swallowed a mouthful of food. "I'm Kaiser."

"What's your surname?" the Commander asked.

Kaiser shrugged. "I don't know."

The Commander's eyebrows furrowed. "Where are you from?"

Kaiser's expression turned thoughtful. "Heaven."

The soldiers nearby burst into laughter. Commander Thompson silenced them with a stern glance. "Be serious."

Kaiser realized that telling the truth would only lead to more questions and skepticism. So, he decided to fabricate a story. "I lost my memory. I don't know anything about myself except my name."

The Commander's expression turned sympathetic. "I see. Well, Kaiser, let me tell you about the current situation.

" Two years ago, dungeons suddenly began to open, and monsters started attacking. We used every modern weapon at our disposal, but we couldn't defeat them."

Kaiser's curiosity was piqued. He leaned forward, his eyes locked on the Commander.

The Commander continued, "But then, a few individuals out of billions began to awaken to incredible powers. They were capable of defeating monsters with ease.

These individuals were called Awakeners or Heroes."

Kaiser's eyes widened as the Commander explained the rise of the hero era.

"...and many private companies and countries began to take advantage of this phenomenon. They created guilds, monopolizing the Heroes and using their powers for personal gain.

The Heroes, in turn, were motivated by greed, seeking wealth and fame."

Kaiser's mind reeled as he processed the Commander's words. He realised he had stumbled into a world where heroes were exploited for profit, and monsters threatened humanity's existence.

Commander Thompson's eyes sparkled with unbridled excitement as he gazed at Kaiser. "You possess extraordinary abilities, Kaiser. Harness them to safeguard humanity. Our government will provide you with everything you need to succeed."

Kaiser's face radiated with an unyielding sense of purpose, his jaw set in determination. "I won't disappoint you, Commander.I'll protect humanity with every thing i have"

The Commander's expression softened, a warm smile spreading across his face. "I have no doubt you will, Kaiser. However, there's one crucial step you must take before embarking on your journey as a Hero."

Kaiser's curiosity was piqued, his eyes narrowing slightly. "What's that, Commander?"

The Commander's smile faltered for a moment before he replied, "You need to register as a Hero. It's a mandatory requirement for all individuals possessing extraordinary abilities."

Kaiser's expression turned puzzled, his brow furrowed in confusion. "Registered? I thought saving humanity was enough to become a Hero."

The Commander's eyes twinkled with amusement. "I wish it were that simple, Kaiser. To become a registered Hero, you must undergo an Awakening Test."

Kaiser's confidence soared, his chest swelling with pride. "I'm ready for the test, Commander. I'm eager to prove my abilities."

The Commander nodded, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "Very well, Kaiser. I'll send someone to pick you up tomorrow and escort you to the testing facility."

As the Commander stood up to leave, he turned to Kaiser with a questioning gaze. "Kaiser, what's your address? I'll make sure someone is there to escort you to the testing facility tomorrow."

Kaiser's eyes widened, and he hesitated for a moment before responding, "I...I don't know."

The Commander's expression turned thoughtful, his eyes filled with compassion. "Don't worry, Kaiser. We'll figure something out. For now, let's just say you're a guest of the government."

"For now you can stay in the house prepared by government."said commander thompson.

With that, the Commander turned and left, leaving Kaiser to wonder what the next day's Awakening Test would bring.

A few minutes passed, and two soldiers arrived at Kaiser's location. "Your house is ready, sir," one of them said with a salute.

They escorted Kaiser to a luxurious mansion, complete with lavish furnishings and cutting-edge amenities. Kaiser's eyes widened as he stepped inside, feeling like a king.

"This is incredible," Kaiser exclaimed. "It looks really expensive."

The soldiers smiled. "The value of this house is not even half the price of the loot from the wyverns you defeated."

Kaiser's jaw dropped. "What?! Those useless creatures were worth that much?"

The soldiers chuckled and excused themselves, but not before Kaiser asked, "What's that thing on the wall?"

The soldiers turned to see what Kaiser was pointing at. "You don't know what that is?" one of them asked, surprised. "It's a TV."

Kaiser's curiosity was piqued. "What's a TV?"

The soldiers were shocked, but they took the time to explain the basics of television to Kaiser. After they left, Kaiser's curiosity got the better of him, and he spent the entire night watching TV.

The next day, a luxurious car pulled up in front of the mansion. Two soldiers stepped out and knocked on the door.

"Sir, we're here to pick you up," one of them said.

Kaiser opened the door, looking fatigued with dark circles under his eyes. The soldiers were taken aback."H..h..hi."said kaiser with a sleepy look.

The soldiers were scared and shocked to see him."Did you not sleep, sir?" one of them asked.

Kaiser rubbed his eyes. "I was watching TV all night."

One soldier asked "whaat?!,you saw TV all night!?."

Then soldiers exchanged worried glances. "Sir, you need to be well-rested for the Awakening Test. How are you going to perform well without sleep?"

Kaiser said "it is okay,Lets Go!"

Then kaiser got out and began to walk towards the car, he fainted in the ground.

Soldiers said "kaiser!!."

When soldiers came near kaiser, they saw kaiser sleeping.

Then one of the soldiers said,"I got scared for a second!,He is just sleeping."

One of the soldiers thought "is he really a hero?"
