Training was the least important of Luke's tasks, but it was by no means unimportant. For upcoming battles, he needed his body to be in top shape.
While his physical attributes had indeed increased through his cultivation of spiritual energy, he needed to train in tandem with his magical growth to fully realize his gains.
On the plus side being able to exercise was something that he had long since cherished.
One thing that stumped him was that although he had trained in some mixed martial arts back on earth, he wasn't proficient enough to call himself decent.
Coming into his plan to overtake Roanoke village, he needed to ensue chaos and for the most part, play dirty.
Though he was currently stronger than 99% of the monkeys that resided in the village, he assumed that they were much more experienced in combat scenarios.
The crux of his plan relied on the singular fact that once he broke through onto the next stage of cultivation, he'd potentially be stronger than 100% of the monkeys.
Through scouting the area, and having personally been captive inside the village he knew that most of the monkeys possessed not a single ounce of spiritual energy.
The problem was that there were cultivators of spiritual energy inside the village. The fact there existed a mine for spiritual stones proved someone in the village knew of its secrets.
The stones were being mined and stored, as the only trade the village seemed to make was with those of the Queen.
The next step in his scouting plan was to figure out where they were storing the spiritual stones and to set up a plan to rob enough to break through.
Having just returned back from trailing the monkey though, he wasn't in much of a mood to scout again.
He needed to freshen his mind with something new, something equally important but also fun.
Circling all the way back, he needed to train his stamina, and endurance, and scrounge up any semblance of martial arts.
Improving his physical attributes was simple enough, push-ups, running, and lifting heavy boulders were great exercises.
The tough part really came from trying to learn martial arts from memory alone. Though using his fists was a viable option he knew he wasn't that much of a brawler.
He liked the feel of something in his hands, and had he had the option to choose he most definitely would've chosen a sword.
In the forest, though the best option he had was a long branch he formed into the semblance of a spear.
He practiced thrusts, jabs, and swings with the light stick. Unlike swords or other weapons which held much higher entry levels, a spear was incredibly simple.
All you had to do was just swing the heavy stick around and hit 'em wherever. It was the weapon of the common people.
A couple of days passed by with the same routine, running through the forest's border, lifting big things, and waving around the stick.
It wasn't much but it was honest work. After a couple of days of training with the spear, he began to feel his spiritual energy begin to react.
It wasn't much but he could sense a little string of spiritual energy exit his body and enter slowly into the stick.
He knew for a fact that he could strengthen his own body but strengthening other objects was a new ability.
Through a bit of concentration, he began pumping the wooden spear with spiritual energy, eventually causing the material to glow with a vibrant blue aura.
It took more than twenty percent of his total reserves but he felt the spear become an extension of himself.
Through the connection of spiritual energy the spear became an artificial limb, the jabs the thrusts that took a slight second to do were done in an instant.
The originally blunt spear became capable of slicing through mature trees in one fell swoop.
It was a magical feeling, a sense of euphoria erupted through Luke's entire body as he began decimating the nearby trees.
He didn't know how but his proficiency with the spear was growing exponentially. In this trance he felt invincible, he was a god among men.
Though Luke had no idea of it just yet, he was already tapping into reaching the universal threshold to becoming a Master of Spearmanship.
No one in the universe would have expected a potential Spear god to emerge from an isolated nature preserve in the outreaches of the Pongo galaxy.
It wasn't until a few hours later that Luke awoke from his trance. In an instant, he felt the fatigue that he had ignored finally hit him.
His whole body ached with a soreness unknown to him. At the same time, he was repulsed by the grim and muck that had littered his body.
It was a black viscous material that smelled of hell. Disgusted at his current hygiene he rushed to a river he had found a couple miles away from his base.
Unknown to Luke, whilst he was in the trance his body had been undergoing a constant reconstruction.
While the celestial metalloid liquid had reconstructed his body to be perfectly made for cultivation, this natural process from his enlightenment enhanced his body's combat prowess.
While not the youngest person to achieve Master's attainment in a skill, he was certainly one of the quickest in the whole universe.
Though it would take a while before Luke's potentially became boardcased universally it would serve him well in his beginning.

Shortly after bathing himself and washing his only set of clothes, Luke stayed butt-booty naked along the river's bank.
Looking at the reflection in the rushing river he took a good look at himself for the first time since he reached this world.
Black hair, dark eyes, light-tanned skin from the sun, and a chiseled face. Though athletic his body was nowhere close to a bulky bodybuilder.
In fact, had he been wearing any oversized clothing he'd probably look like a twink. He showed a bitter smile at the thought.
Though he hadn't noticed it yet it had already turned to night. The stars glimmered above, calling out for him.
Luke wasn't sure if it was paranoia but he felt as if the starry sky above was doing more than just looking pretty.
In the end, he dismissed it as just paranoia, though it had only been a few days since he felt his skill in the spear had reached a bottleneck.
He had taught himself as much as he could with his imagination. He needed practical experience to reach beyond.
For the next weeks to come he would train his stamina, endurance, and strength. Once he felt comfortable enough he'd do his final round of scouting before breaking through.
He gave himself a month and a half. For Luke Eldridge that'd be more than enough to topple down a little village.
