The gym was in utter chaos as Karasuno secured their victory. The audience erupted into a mixture of cheers and shocked murmurs. The result had been unexpected, and most couldn't believe the overwhelming difference in score.

"Did you see that? 25-11! They completely crushed Aoba Johsai!"

"That number ten... he's a monster. Those spikes, that speed..."

"I've never seen anything like that before!"

Hinata, the center of all the attention, was utterly unfazed. While the crowd and Aoba Johsai's players glared at him with a mixture of awe and frustration, he simply sipped on an energy pack. His focus was elsewhere—on strategy. He stood next to Daichi, discussing their weaknesses and how they could improve their training.

"We need to focus on our defense, Daichi-san," Hinata said between sips. "They found weak spots today and scored five points too easily."

Daichi nodded, arms crossed. "Yeah, and we relied on you way too much for attacks. If we keep this up, we'll be too predictable. We need Asahi back."

Takeda-sensei, who had been watching in stunned silence, finally spoke. "This... this was my first time seeing you two play together," he muttered, glancing at Sugawara. "This is something special, isn't it?"

Sugawara smiled knowingly. "Yeah, Sensei. Those two—Hinata and Kageyama—are on a completely different level."

Both teams gathered to bow to each other and their coaches, marking the official end of the match. As they prepared to leave, Takeda stepped forward, addressing the Karasuno team.

"I may not know much about volleyball," he admitted, his voice steady, "but I do know this—something special is happening here. We may not have much to our name right now, but together, we can change everything."

His words resonated through the team. They were exhausted, but the fire in their eyes hadn't dimmed.

Everyone packed their bags and boarded the bus, heading back to school before dispersing home. The ride was filled with animated discussions about the match.

"Kageyama and Hinata need to be in the starting six," Sugawara stated firmly. "They're too skilled not to be. If we can't incorporate fresh blood, we'll never reach greatness."

Tanaka shifted uncomfortably in his seat but eventually sighed. "Yeah... I hate to admit it, but you're right."

Daichi leaned forward, rubbing his temples. "Today's match revealed our weaknesses. We relied too much on Hinata for scoring. If we want to get stronger, we need our full team back. We need Nishinoya. We need Asahi."

Sugawara nodded. "Agreed. If we're serious about making it to Nationals, we need them."

The next daky, Hinata arrived early at the gym, stretching as he watched Kageyama practicing his serves. The setter had placed a bottle near the back of the court to train his accuracy.

Kageyama tossed the ball, leaped, and sent a powerful jump serve flying toward the target.

Just as the ball was about to hit the bottle—

A blur shot past Hinata's peripheral vision. In an instant, the ball was received perfectly.

Kageyama's eyes widened. "Wha—?"

There he was, his favorite character in the series.

The person who had entered was short—shorter than even him. His stance was solid, his arms firm as he absorbed the ball's impact flawlessly.

Kageyama's eyes darted to the new arrival, brows furrowed in confusion.

"Who the hell—?"

"NISHINOYA!" Tanaka's voice boomed as he and the others entered the gym. He sprinted over, excitement practically radiating from him. "You're back, man!"

Daichi chuckled and stepped forward. "Kageyama, Hinata, meet Nishinoya."

Nishinoya grinned at the two newcomers. "Yo! Where'd you go for junior high?"

Kageyama replied instantly. "Kitagawa Daiichi."

Nishinoya whistled. "Oho! That's a strong school. We lost to them 2-1 back then."

"Where'd you go?" Kageyama asked curiously.

"Chidoriyama," Nishinoya answered proudly.

Kageyama tilted his head. "Why'd you pick Karasuno?"

Nishinoya's eyes gleamed. "'Cause the uniforms are cool! And it's close to home."

Before anyone could respond, the doors opened again.

"Oh?" Nishinoya's face lit up as he spotted someone. "Shizuku!"

He sprinted toward her, yelling excitedly. Before he could get too close—

SLAP!

The sound echoed through the gym as she smacked him away.

Nishinoya stumbled back, a bright red handprint on his cheek, but he recovered instantly, grinning as he returned to the group.

Daichi sighed, ignoring the commotion. "Nishinoya, we need to talk."

Nishinoya's expression darkened. "Is Asahi-san back?"

Daichi hesitated before shaking his head. "No."

Nishinoya's smile vanished. "That coward."

Tanaka frowned. "Oi, don't call our senpai that!"

Nishinoya crossed his arms. "Let's call a spade a spade. He abandoned us. I won't come back until he does."

With that, he turned on his heel and stormed out of the gym, leaving the team in stunned silence.
