Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Time to Start Dying!

There wasn't much time to defend myself. Before I could soar off into the night sky, the two magician monster hunters quickly tackled me from behind. It was a matter of survival. One of the magician monster hunters wrapped a hand around my mouth. And put his other hand around my chest. To weigh me down.

The next moment I realized what was happening to me, they dragged me back to the graveyard. I suddenly felt nauseated and dizzy. I slowly closed my eyes and passed out. I didn't know what the two magician monster hunters planned to do with me. But I better be prepared for anything.

As I was being pulled against my will, back into the crater's ground below, where the comet had crashed. The zombies gathered around us. Putting my unconscious body next to the broken comet in the ground, the two magician monster hunters and the glowing blue alien knight circled around me.

With their arms outstretched, I started to float above the broken comet. They started to hum as the zombies were dancing around the surface of the crater, laughing and enjoying themselves.

"Nobody must take this boy away from us!" shouted the angry, glowing blue alien knight. "He bears the mark of the curse of Supernaturalville's monster abilities." explained the alien knight. I was still asleep as they started chanting to themselves in a language I wasn't familiar with.

"He's afraid of the sunlight, Master," said one of the gifted, smart magician monster hunters, on the left. In the circle of the broken comet. He pointed it out to them. Looking up at the glowing, purple sun. It was shining a path of sunlight on me as I was unconscious.

The sunlight started making my skin smoke and tingle. I was trying to wake up, but it was burning my skin. Making it pale and gray and lifeless. But there was nothing I could do to keep from waking up. The glowing purple sunlight was causing my skin to get old and wrinkly.

"It's normal," the alien blue knight said. "The sunlight will make Kirk Hopscotch immortal," he continued, smiling at my paralyzed body, floating in the air above the broken comet.

I couldn't let them control me. But as I laid there, floating in the air above the broken comet, I was hopeless. Everything was getting weaker. I don't know what they planned to do after my lifeforce gets completely drained. They were desperate to do anything to make my life seem more pathetic than usual.

Suddenly, there was screaming coming from some of the undead zombies staggering around in the graveyard. This broke the magician's concentration on the cult ritual to make me supernatural with everlasting immortality.

I snapped awake, and found myself falling onto the blue slimy broken comet in the crater. This made the two magician monster hunters and the blue alien knight get very upset. Grabbing hold of me, they dragged me out of the crater where the comet had crash landed before.

To see what was happening on the surface of the crater, we watched as a ball of sunlight from the glowing purple sun. Started firing a ball of sunlight from the blotted sun in the sky at the startled, staggering zombies. Who were trying to take cover back inside their empty graves. Where they crawled out of it.

"We have to get them all out of the graveyard, now!" shouted the blue alien knight, angrily. Unexpectedly, the brave blue, glowing alien knight jumped in front of me! As a blast of fireball of the purple, glowing blotted sun fired at us…

Causing the two magician monster hunters to get knocked back in the crater of where the comet from the sky had crashed from. While I was being tossed into one of the zombie graves. As the other two magician monster hunters were out cold, next to the surface of the crater.

My head smashed against the back of the tombstone. Where I was knocked out in a zombie's empty grave. As my eyes slowly blurred as I fought to stay awake, I looked up. And saw some concerned zombies surround me. My head was throbbing so much. I couldn't keep awake, much longer.

I finally passed out, again. After my world got lost in darkness in a dreamless slumber, I started to hear voices waking me up. A few moments later. Turning my head sideways, to adjust to the darkness, I opened my eyes.

Looking around me, I noticed the two smart magician monster hunters and the blue alien knight were huddled around me. Looking concerned, they started to reach down the grave. And pull me out of it.

Grabbing hold of my throbbing head, I asked, "What happened?" I asked, groggily. I looked around me. I noticed some of the zombies were acting like nothing unusual had recently happened. They were just staggering lifelessly around their empty graves. I turned and noticed the sun was still blotting out. Nothing else seemed different.

Suddenly, we jumped and gasped with fright! Albert Alexander, my middle grade school best friend, who was now barking at some misbehaving zombies nearby him. It seemed the zombies were a group of four or so undead children, together. Who were trying to pick a fight with Albert's bones in his grasp he was trying to bury.

Floating closer over to help my friend, Albert, he noticed I was coming to break up the tension. Albert started wagging his long, brown fluffy tail as he saw me and the others coming over to him. He started hopping around us, excitedly.

With his drooling pink, tongue lapping out of his mouth, I started to hug and pet Albert's furry head. This made Albert start to use his back hind leg to scratch at his sides, quickly. I started laughing, and made Albert bark at me, excitedly, too.

The zombies didn't seem interested in doing anything to us. They were just walking slowly and limply around their open graves, where they crawled out of. "Is there always going to be darkness in Supernaturalville?" I asked, the two magician monster hunters and the blue alien knight. Who only shrugged and continued staring at the blotted out sun in the starry night sky.

"We can't be certain, young Hopscotch," said the blue alien knight. "Only be hopeful it won't cause us to be extinct, forever," he said, smiling at me. "In order to get life back to normal in Supernaturalville…We must obey the Spooky Sun God. Who is responsible for all the darkness to make everybody's lives more perilous than ever," he said, frowning with frustration.

The stormy clouds in the night sky above us thundered loudly above our heads. Making us jump and tremble with fear. Suddenly, Albert the werewolf boy, started whimpering loudly. And cowered behind me, next to everybody beside the crater of where the comet had crashed landed.

"I don't understand why the Spooky Sun God wants darkness to take over the land and everybody in Supernaturalville?" I asked, suspeciously. I wanted to go home with my Mom and Dad. And pretended none of this was happening to Supernaturalville.

The glowing purple sun in the sky boomed loudly. Causing the dark storm clouds in the night sky to crackle and bolt of electricity at us in the graveyard. Making the undead zombies shudder and tremble to the ground in defeat.

"To make the Spooky Sun God happy, we must do whatever it wants," said the blue, glowing alien knight. "It seems to be angry and upset, right now. To make it happy, we must let it feed on your soul, Kirk Hopscotch. To give you life in the afterlife. Where it will make the Spooky Sun God invisible powers beyond our imagination," the blue alien knight explained.

"Why is the Spooky Sun God attracted to darkness and monsters of the imagination?" I asked, the blue, glowing alien knight. "If it gets its magical powers by draining the life of those who are gifted with a purpose of having immortality wants our darker imagination to become real?" I asked, wondering what the answer would be.

But the blue alien knight or the two friendly magician monster hunters couldn't respond. Because there was another powerful blast of sunlight attacking a couple of nearby zombie kids. Who was playing with my middle grade school friend's dog bones as they were trying to dig them out of his hiding place.

Albert growled and howled at the dark glowing sun in the night sky. When suddenly, a crackle of electricity from the sky exploded. Turning to look at the dark sun, it started to glow and a ghostly image of a young woman appeared in front of the glowing blotted out sun in the sky.

"You shall all tremble before me! I am the one and only Spooky Sun Goddess taking over Supernaturalville! Nobody will know how bad it will get for everybody. If you don't bring me the boy who will be responsible for unleashing darkness in the land of Supernaturalville. Or else, everybody will be sorry to ever think Supernaturalville is home to the wicked!" outraged the Spooky Sun Goddess in the sky.

Suddenly, a bolt of lightning flashed in the stormy night sky. And the dark storm clouds nearby the glowing purple sun in the sky, struck lightning at the Spooky Sun Goddess. Making her yelp out a scream of horror. And then, she disappeared into a puff of smoke…!
