"Aria ! Aria!" Lena shouted.
"Coming lena just let me wear my shoes"! Aria voice comming from the house.
"Did you participate in the school's project?"lena asked.
"Yeah i did!" Aria said.
"Oh good then what if we work together on this project?" Lena asked curious.
"Yeah absolutely" aria answered.
"But what if we didn't successful on this exprimental project?"aria asked .
" oh common aria it has been " 2 months" your thoughts are still same as before".lena said.your thoughts is still ook like old aria .you remember?
2 months ago ! Your are so overthinker ? " but aria now its seems like younare mature now "
"Haha" aria laughed awkwardly.
"Lets go we have to do some work" aria said.
"Ok lets go" lena said. But wait i want to tell you something" it might be funny for you and me as well"
"What?" Aria asked.
"The girl name marine you remember i think She has come to stay at her grandmother's place again after a very long time but she surely stay for very long time at there."lena said.
" but the main thing aiden being friendly with her"
"What do you mean being friendly" aria asked
"I mean She is always standing on her balcony, and Aiden tries to act casual from below, like fixing his hair, to seem relaxed."
"And marine smiles when she looked at aiden every time". Lena replied.
"S-so?? What i do" ? Huh?" Aiden has nothing else to do you know". aria said.
Aria stood there, hearing the words, but there was no hint of emotion on her face. She barely even blinked, as if the whole situation didn't matter. In her mind, she scoffed at the thought of caring.
Why should I? she thought. It's his life, not mine. She crossed her arms, leaning against the gate, her gaze distant.
"Well, that's his problem,"aria said again.
she muttered to herself, turning away. She had bigger things to focus on, things that mattered. Whatever Aiden did or didn't do no longer had the power to shake her. She wasn't about to let herself get tangled in his mess.
Aria didn't care.
In the evening, Aria opened the gate. Her gaze immediately landed on Marine's balcony. There, Aiden was once again adjusting his hair, trying to look relaxed, as if he was free of any tension. He was making an effort to look casual, as though he were trying to attract Marine's attention.
Aria watched quietly from where she stood, a small smile forming on her face. But inside, a thought crossed her mind
'What kind of foolishness is this? Did Aiden really think this would get her attention?" aria smirked.
She tried to hold back the smile, but deep down, she couldn't help but feel amused by the whole scene, even though she was completely indifferent to it.
Aria saw this scene every day. Whenever she looked, Aiden was always standing below her balcony, trying to catch Marine's attention, whether it was morning, evening, or night. No matter the time of day, he seemed to be there, doing the same thing over and over again. Aria couldn't help but notice, but it no longer bothered her. It was just another part of her routine now.
Aria and her cousin, maya , had made plans to stay up all night for fun. It had been so long since maya had come over, and they decided to make the most of it by watching movies and doing whatever came to mind. The night passed in a blur, filled with laughter and random activities. As the hours flew by, morning slowly crept in.
Aria was starting to feel sleepy, so she told Maya, "Wait, I'm going to wash my face and freshen up a bit." She walked out to the backyard, where she splashed water on her face and stepped out to open the gate. She didn't know why, but her gaze immediately landed on Aiden, who was once again standing below Marine's balcony. He was staring up, as though waiting for something, or someone.
Aria couldn't believe what she was seeing.
"Seriously?!???? she thought.
Without saying another word, she quickly shut the gate, shaking her head in disbelief.
Every day, Aria would see Aiden standing below Marine's balcony, either acting like he was busy with something or just casually leaning against the wall. Aria couldn't help but notice this, though she tried to act indifferent. The tension between them grew, but she ignored it, thinking it didn't concern her.
Later, she would meet Lena, who, being the street camera, knew everything. aria would always ask her, "So, what happened today?" And lena would tell her, almost in an automatic way, about her observations of Aiden.
One day, lena went to aria's house, still amused by what she had seen earlier. "You won't believe this," lena began, "Aiden was sitting on his house top roof, acting like he was studying, but he was looking at Marine's balcony. He kept pretending to read a book, but honestly, it was so obvious. He was trying to make it seem like he was deep in thought, but all he was doing was looking up and pretending to study while making these random shapes in the air with his hands. It was as if he was trying to impress someone probably Marine."
Aria, always quick with a response, chuckled, "What a show-off." Aria smirked.
I guess he really can't stop himself." Aria rolled her eyes, but deep down, she found it strangely amusing.
Aria and Lena would keep these daily exchanges, sharing what they saw, their observations, and how they reacted to Aiden's antics. It became a strange routine between them Lena knowing everything and Aria offering her own thoughts, sometimes amused, sometimes annoyed.
"Aria would never admit it, but every time she saw Aiden's behavior, something inside her twisted. It wasn't jealousy she didn't care about him, right? But why did it feel like something was quietly eating at her? Maybe she was just overthinking... or was she?"
