The grip only got tighter and tighter.
Trapped in the other half of this new world there was no one that could have saved him.
Aeloria, trapped in her siphon prison couldn't do much to help physically but even her verbal support enraged Xavier by the second.
Ravana from her distance, lauched fierce warps and wefts of dark cuts through the air in Xavier's direction.
As the strikes cut through the wind, he tried to escape but that was futile.
Moments later, everything went dark.
*Beep* Beep* Beep.
He immediately jolted off his bed.
Panting heavily as his panic slowly died down, his breath gradually sloping down to stable.
His comm was ringing and loud.
Saved by the alarm.
He smacked the screen to turn off the alarm.
"Arghh!", he screamed as he impacted the comm.
There was a cut in his arm, just above the comm's position. It seemed to have even dented the comm a bit.
The cut was deep, long and gave off a dim glow.
It was no ordinary cut. It seemed magical. That was probably why he couldn't feel it while he was asleep.
He took off the comm to get a better look.
It wreaked pain all over his arm.
"When did I? But how?", he tried to piece things together.
[Congratulations. You escaped the Omega realm and harmed a godesss]

He moved his legs over and took a posture by the side of the bed.
His mind stood ground on how this scar came about.
Did he harm himself the previous day and didn't realized till just this morning? There was no way.
Or could he have have been hurt in his dream and it manifested in the physical.
No, that's not possible either.
'Someone must have broken an entry,' his mind stipullated.
But who will have the intent of harming Xavier.
He looked round the room looking clues that supported his hypothesis but there was none.
His gaze fell back to the floor below him after a false suspicion proven.
There was something, unsettling about the room, something different from the previous night.
He couldn't tell what or explain it but he could somehow feel it.
He decided to let instincts take the lead on this one.
He crouched low.
A mild glow shine, coming from the bottom of his bed. The intensity of the light, was similar to the one on his cut.
Were they somehow connected?
He reached out under the bed to grab it.
As he pulled the strange object from below his bed towards himself both lights intensified.
So they were connected. What was the strange object that Xavier held in his arm?
It was an orb. He could tell that from his battle during the awakening test.
What was an orb doing in his room and why did it seem to be connected to the cut his arm.
All thoughts had to be laid aside. It was time for school and he couldn't afford to be late on the first day.
He stored up the orb in the inventory for proper analysis later in the day.
[Item acquired: Trypanos Orb]
He quickly took a bath and changed his clothes.
He decided to put on a long-sleeved shirt to cover up the racing scar across his arm.
He took a light meal from the kitchen before setting out for class.
Luckily for him, even though majority of the class was already sitted, the teacher still hadn't arrive.
He took a seat in front proximal to Leo.
"You are late."
"No, I'm not. The teacher hasn't even arrived."
"Class was suppose to begin 10 minutes ago, so you are late."
"Maybe but that doesn't matter", he yielded before diverting their discussion to a lingering question in his mind "Does this school have a library, I want to study a little history later?"
"You! Want to study!"
"Yes. Why is that so funny?"
"Nothing. It isn't." he said sarcastically and he smirked a bit behind the shield of his palms. "There is one. Second door to your left after the General's office."
Xavier didn't thank Leo afterward, he just folded his arms, rolled his eyes and turned his head away in mild rage.
Not long after a teacher stepped in and walked up to the front of the class. He was tall but skinny. He wore a grey suit adorned with stains with his hanging red bow tie. His hair ruffled as if he had just been attacked by a raccoon or something.
"Sorry, for the delay students. I got held up. My name is Mr Austin and I'll be your History teacher."
He pulled out a book from his cross bag and opened up a page.
"Today, we will be discussing on the history of Eldoria. Some of you may already know this tale but for the sakes of the others I will take it on today."
'This is great. Looks like I won't have to go to the library afterwards.'
"There were two sisters, Aeloria and Ravana. One turned evil and became the goddess of destruction while the other remained good and fended off her wicked twin. The end. Have a nice day class."
As quickly as he stepped in, he had already walked out.
'What was that? Is that really all?'
The system notification didn't pop up indicating he hadn't learnt any thing about Eldorian history, as he had already deduced that information from his battle last night.
The students soon began leaving the classroom for their next class.
As they stood up, Xavier asked Leo a question "Is that really all?"
"No, there is a whole lot more to it. I thought you were going to look it up in the library or are you having cold feet already," Leo teased as he chuckled a bit.
Xavier shoved Leo a bit and left the classroom for his next lesson to get away from Leo.
All the students moved in synchrony to their next class. They marched in to an empty enormous room with towering door and metal walls.
The students soon saturated the entire room. Unlike their first class, this will hopefully be more interesting. To prove that, this time their instructor was already awaiting their entry.
The seating arrangement of this class was different. There were bleachers coiled round in a circular orbit making the teacher in the middle, the figure of attention.
This arrangement was optimized to enable each student get a proper grasp of the teacher's instruction and for equal distribution of attention from the teacher.
This was the most prior class to every awakened hence the arrangement only supported such.
As soon as the whole class settled down and everyone had taken their seats she spoke.
