Chapter 10 - CHAPTER 10

"Hahaha! This is killing me with laughter!"

"Damn, another face-smacking moment! That must sting!"

"A laser corridor? That was it?! She just ran through it and shut it down like it was nothing—how can someone not be impressed?"

"Does he even understand the concept of difficulty?"

"And that woman… she's way too hot! Is she another superhero?"

"Foolish people, they have no idea how terrifying our superheroes truly are!"

The internet was in chaos, flooded with comments, memes, and clips spreading like wildfire. Even in the face of a biochemical crisis and an apocalyptic disaster, the online world found a way to turn everything into entertainment. Reaction videos were being uploaded in real time, debates broke out in forums, and fan art of Black Widow tearing through the laser corridor had already begun circulating.

"Naïve."

Batman barely spared the scrolling comments a glance as he continued monitoring the situation from the Batcomputer. His fingers tapped against the console, analyzing the footage on multiple screens. His assessment of Matthew was already decided.

Whether it was Black Widow or Iron Man, both were forces to be reckoned with. And yet, Matthew seemed completely oblivious to the kind of monsters he was dealing with.

Maybe that invasion system of his was truly powerful…

But the places it was invading?

They were far too weak.

At the very least—

The people in those worlds were exactly as the internet described them.

"Honestly… they're no different from NPCs in a game."

Batman shook his head. His initial wariness gradually shifted to curiosity. If that system kept throwing resources at them like free loot, what was its true purpose? And more importantly… how could they exploit it?

"A clown handing out power-ups?"

Scarlet Witch mused, absentmindedly twirling a wisp of red energy between her fingers as she leaned back in her chair. Her expression was unreadable, but her eyes betrayed a flicker of intrigue.

"Umbrella Corporation…"

Professor X folded his hands in front of him as he observed the events unfolding on screen. "A method for mass-producing mutants?"

His gaze lingered on Tony's transformation. If Umbrella could modify the human body on such a scale… then what did that mean for the mutant gene? Were they unlocking something natural? Or was this forced evolution?

The internet was ablaze. The world was shifting—rapidly.

Nick Fury didn't need foresight to know that the live broadcast would spark an earth-shattering storm.

But compared to the internet drama and overblown reactions—which he found utterly trivial—his focus was elsewhere.

As the king of spies, he cared only about one thing.

"Natasha…"

He muttered under his breath, his lone eye narrowing in deep thought.

Black Widow had cleared the laser corridor flawlessly. Not only that, she had shut down the traps entirely.

She was undoubtedly the first to complete the mission. Based on Tony's experience…

She should've received a reward as well.

What had she gained?

Nick Fury turned his gaze to the screen, a mix of wariness and curiosity in his expression.

"Well, well… would you look at that?"

A smirk tugged at Black Widow's lips as she watched a glowing book materialize before her, hovering in the air like something out of a fantasy novel.

Mission: Completed.

Her reward had arrived.

She reached out, letting the ethereal pages flip open in front of her. But as her eyes scanned the title, her brow arched in confusion.

"Navy Six Styles?"

"What the hell is that?"

It wasn't a high-tech upgrade, nor was it some kind of experimental serum. Unlike Tony, whose enhancements were a direct response to the zombie outbreak, hers seemed… completely unrelated.

Was it a martial art? A technique?

Before she could dwell on it—

Ding!

[Side mission: Laser Passage completed!]

[Black Widow has received a special reward: Navy Six Styles!]

A surge of knowledge crashed into her mind. It wasn't a slow trickle—no, it was like a dam bursting open. Techniques, principles, stances—she could see them all with crystal clarity, as if she'd trained in them for years.

Her breath hitched as she clenched her fists. Every fiber of her being was screaming with newfound strength.

Ding—

[User's physical condition is too weak to fully utilize Navy Six Styles.]

[Consuming points for enhancement…]

[100 points consumed. Physical enhancement complete!]

An intense warmth spread through her body, muscles tightening, senses sharpening. Her strength, speed, and reflexes—everything had improved. It was as if she had undergone years of specialized training in mere seconds.

"Shave?"

The term surfaced in her mind, and before she could process it, her body responded instinctively.

She vanished.

In an instant, she reappeared right next to Tony.

Her movement left behind an afterimage.

Even Tony—who had been thoroughly enjoying his power-up—blinked in momentary shock.

"Whoa—what the hell was that?!"

Black Widow ignored him, flexing her fingers as another term surfaced.

"Finger Pistol."

She casually flicked her hand outward.

A concentrated shockwave erupted from her fingertip, compressed like a bullet.

Bang!

The sharp crack echoed through the corridor.

The reinforced alloy flooring beneath them—

Now had a clean hole punched straight through it.

Even a standard handgun wouldn't have left a mark.

Yet she had done it with her bare hand.

And she wasn't done.

Her body moved again, acting entirely on instinct.

Military Command Center

"Holy shit—"

"Did she just—"

"That's impossible! That's completely unscientific!!"

A chorus of shocked voices filled the room.

Scientists, high-ranking generals—none of them could remain seated.

With a loud slam, multiple chairs toppled over as people jumped to their feet, their gazes locked onto the screen.

Black Widow.

Natasha Romanoff.

She had actually started flying.

No jetpack. No repulsor thrusters. No external aid.

With nothing but her own physical ability—she had broken free from gravity, walking through the air as if it were solid ground.

This was outrageous.

"Shave" could be explained away—just an incredible burst of speed.

"Finger Pistol" could be dismissed as a trick—maybe she fired a concealed weapon.

But Moonwalk?

There was no way to fake that.

One of the older generals clenched his fists. His expression darkened with greed.

"That power… should belong to the Empire."

S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters

Nick Fury, usually a man of cold calculation, allowed himself a small, satisfied smirk.

Amidst all the chaos—

This was a win.

Tony had received a reward.

And now, Natasha had too.

The best part?

Unlike Tony's body modifications, this was a trainable technique.

If they could replicate it…

Nick Fury's lone eye gleamed with opportunity.

"Coulson."

"Find out if she can teach it."
