"As the dark potency of the black witch blood surges through my veins, I feel an intoxicating rush of power. Combined with the ferocity of the werewolf bloodline, I possess the ultimate vessel to wield this unholy strength." Ralph whispers to himself, his voice dripping with malevolence.

"Ralph, what are we doing ne....." The Delta wasn't able to finish his sentence prior to the way Ralph woke up from his thoughts glaring at him. "You! Are not worthy to call my name you stupid mutt" Ralph took large strides to the Delta, strangling him. "I'm sorry Master. I'll never make that mistake again" the Delta bared his neck in submission.
A hiss of pain from Kayleigh made Ralph release his hold off the Delta. "Oh pup! You're awake. Do you know how many days I've waited for you to wake up. You broke my heart everyday by not waking up" Ralph said in a sickeningly sweet voice. " Who I'm I" Kayleigh asked confused. This statement from Kayleigh was able to and him into a happy fit.
This is what he has been waiting for, he wants Kayleigh to forget everything about the past. He sent a wink to the Delta who was relieved. He was the one who prepared the concoction to be fed to Kayleigh in other for her to forget the past. "Pup, I'm your mate" Ralph said. "Mate! What's a mate" Kayleigh asked with big innocent eyes.
"Don't worry about the explanation. When you grow, you'll understand what it means. But for now, don't trust anybody except me. Do you understand? I don't want anybody to hurt you" Ralph chirped happily. "I understand but I'm very hungry. Will you give me food to eat" Kayleigh asked blinking cutely.
" Of course pup let's go" Ralph said eagerly. Kayleigh then held the palm of Ralph in a strong hold and a pain shot through his spine excruciatingly.
"Umm... Can you let go of my hand" Ralph asked clenching his teeth in pain. " Why? You're my friend and you told me to trust you right?" Kayleigh said with pouty lips and clasped her hand tighter around Ralph's hand. Ralph was in a such pain that, he could barely register what the kid was saying. It's like someone is roasting him alive.
Whenever Ralph's skin makes contact with Kayleigh's, he's met with a blistering, agonizing sensation - as if his very flesh is being scorched by an invisible flame. This searing pain is the unmistakable sign of a mate mark, a mystical brand that signals Kayleigh is destined for another. "I think her eye colour keeps changing " Ralph thought or I'm I seeing things. "Pup, why does your eye colour keep changing" Ralph asked and used that as a distraction to untangle his fingers. He breathed a sigh of relief when the cool hair brushed against his fingers. He has never been grateful to the wind like he was today.
"Really! What color is it" Kayleigh exclaimed excitedly. Ralph signaled one of his men to bring the kid a mirror. "See the color" he said and passed the kid a mirror. "Wow! I have golden eyes. Isn't it pretty" Kayleigh asked adoringly. "Yes, it is" Ralph said lost in thought. He was was very much confused because, he knew that the kid had green eyes. "Wait a minute...did her wolf appear" Ralph thought alarmingly, glaring at Kayleigh.
"Why are you looking at me like that" the kid asked tilting her head to the left. "Oh nothing" Ralph said and thought "maybe I'm overthinking"
"Friend I'm hungry" the kid complained. "Oh yes let's go" Ralph said and guided the kid to the dinning table. "Wow plenty food" Kayleigh screamed with delight. "Yes pup, have your fill" Ralph said smiling. But the smile didn't reach his eyes because he was thinking of how to get rid of the burning sensation anytime he touched Kayleigh.
