Four days had passed since the meeting with Gredoric and Dilan.
During this time, Renvel was visited twice by his father and brother. His brother brought him several more books — some were ordinary fiction, while others described the history and structure of the world.
This delighted Lon immensely, as understanding the world and its workings was essential to achieving his goal.
Of course, he had Renvel's memories, and they were quite extensive since Renvel had worked at Air Technical Maintenance – Seon.
But learning something firsthand was much easier than digging through Renvel's memories. And it didn't take much time either.
That's why Lon was so happy that his younger brother had brought him so many fascinating books, making the dull hospital days pass faster.

Now, Lon was sitting at a table, holding one of the books in his hands. His fingers slowly flipped through the pages, while his gaze ran across the lines, absorbing new information.
The book contained a lot of interesting things, and even though he had Renvel's memories, studying independently provided a completely different experience.
It described the geography of this world.
The entire world was an endless sky filled with floating islands. Some were tiny — barely larger than a small house — while others were so enormous that entire cities and nations were built on them.
The world was divided into four main regions: North, South, West, and East.
Lon paused for a moment, processing the information.
«Interesting… I knew this thanks to Renvel's memories, but it still sounds unusual… A sky filled with floating islands… No land, no seas, just an endless abyss below.»
«What could have brought the world to this state?.. Why are there floating islands? Where is the solid ground? Where is this place even located?!»
A slight headache started to creep in from all these questions.
But he was genuinely intrigued.
«Why do floating islands exist in this world? Where is the regular land? Maybe some catastrophe destroyed everything and shattered the world into these floating fragments?»
Countless questions raced through his mind, but naturally, there were no answers.
With a sigh, he returned his gaze to the book.
It explained that each region had its own powers — ranging from mighty, lion-like forces to small ones that weren't even worth considering.
The first described was the Southern Region.
The South was dominated by a single major power: The Kingdom of Logan. It controlled one-third of the entire Southern territory, while the remaining land was occupied by smaller factions that mostly submitted to the kingdom.
Next came the Western Region.
The West was home to the largest power in the entire world — The Empire of Zaka. It was even larger than The Kingdom of Logan and ruled over half of the Western lands.
Lon furrowed his brows.
«Half of the Western Region?! That's insane!»
It was important to understand that the size of this world's sky far exceeded that of Earth.
Lon couldn't say exactly how much larger, but it was a lot.
«And seeing a nation that has conquered half of the Western Region... That's madness.»
Lon sighed and continued reading.
The next described was the Northern Region.
The North didn't have a single unified country but was instead governed by an alliance of people and different factions. It was called The Celestial Organization.
This organization acted as protectors. They didn't declare wars but resolved conflicts through courts and negotiations.
In short, they resembled the United Nations from his home world.
«Interesting… I think I should visit them someday.»
Lon nodded in agreement with his own thought.
The last region described was the Eastern Region.
To Lon's surprise, there were no major powers in the East.
Instead, it was home to various small and mid-sized factions, such as Seon.
«That's really strange… Why?»
Unfortunately, even Renvel's memories held no answers to this question.
Lon sighed.
«Well, it doesn't really concern me right now. And this information isn't that important anyway.»
With that thought, he reached for the next book, eager to continue learning about this world.
