Kisi experienced a sudden urge to unleash his long-suppressed superspeed. His eyes flashed with intensity as he snatched a piece of paper from under a bed and grabbed a red pen from the scientist's overcoat. He quickly jotted down some ideas on the sheet.
He struck the escape scientist on his face with the sheet!
Alright! So you're deep into EP 019 Part II: Planning Out... and just hit a pause. No worries—let's help Kisi, Roko, Serena, and the shaky scientist flesh out the plan and move the story forward.
CONTINUATION of EP 019 ii: planning out...
The paper crumpled as it bounced off the escaped scientist's cheek.
"Ow! You said planning, not slapping!"
Kisimoto folded his arms, still seething. "That was part of the plan."
Serena narrowed her eyes. "Focus. What do you know about the lab's current location? Is it still operational?"
The scientist rubbed his face, then nodded reluctantly. "The old facility you escaped from? Destroyed. But they've moved underground. Deeper. It's called NODE-ZERO now."
Kisimoto's eyes sharpened. "Coordinates. Now."
"I don't have coordinates!" he whined. "But I know how to trace their signals. That's how I escaped."
Serena sat down at the now-cleared table and slapped a cracked laptop in front of him. "Then trace. Now."
The scientist hesitated. "I need my kit. I left it behind when I ran. There's a signal scrambler and a memory decoder—without those, I can't get through their cloaking."
Roko leaned back, folding his arms. "Then we go get it."
Kisimoto drew a crude layout on the back of the sheet. "Where exactly?"
The scientist pointed. "Edge of Sector 7. Near the old metro ruins. They've got it locked up in a courier case at the checkpoint."
Serena: "Sounds like a trap."
Scientist: "Probably is."
Kisimoto smirked. "Perfect. I was starting to get bored."
