VIKI would admit that she was pretty disappointed with how she and her alien babies were being treated by the crew of Idol Chemistry.
Their PD doesn't even have the guts to talk to me in person.
If she weren't running out of time, and if those Rebelheart bastards weren't such bullies, she would have let it slide.
There are other ways to debut the kids anyway.
But she was pissed.
"M-Miss Young, what do you mean by that?" the production assistant asked nervously. "You sound like you're going to cause one of the groups to back out…"
"What do you think?" Viki asked, still flashing her creepy smile, before standing up. "Bring PD Lim here, Miss. I won't lash out at you since I can tell you're not getting paid enough to deal with all this shit."
The production assistant didn't say anything, but she looked grateful.
"Tell PD Lim that my kids and I won't be leaving until he tells us the real reason why NAVERIE was suddenly taken out of the line-up," Viki said while opening the door. "If he doesn't give me a valid reason, let him know that I won't keep my mouth shut."
"M-Miss Young, please don't be too harsh on PD Lim," the production assistant said in a trembling voice. But she had a determined look in her eyes. "Actually, the entire team was threatened…"
Now we're talking.
***
"WHAT made you think that country bumpkins like you have a place in the idol industry?"
"To be fair, there was an era when the general public favored trainees who came from poverty for being "relatable." Too bad that isn't the case anymore. Most people now want to see young masters as idols."
"Even entertainment companies these days prefer rich trainees. It's all about money now. So, if you don't have it, too bad."
"Don't blame yourselves for failing here— blame your parents for being poor."
"Hey, these kids are orphans. They should blame their parents for dying early instead."
And then the bullies laughed out loud as if their harsh words were funny.
Haaah.
Viki was proud of herself for managing to stay calm while listening to the rude and cruel young boys on the other side of the door.
But she was even more proud of her kids for keeping their cool.
They're being bullied blatantly, but they're not reacting.
Ah, whatever.
It's a mother's job to protect her kids anyway.
And, so, Viki kicked the door open.
Oh.
She was glad that she entered the reception area when she did because it looked like Chae Baam was ready to kill the four arrogant kids from the other group.
If these bullies were Hunters, they would have felt my alien babies' bloodlust.
Chae Baam looked cute and harmless because of his pink hair and "small" stature (174cm was average for a Korean guy, but he looked "short" because his siblings were tall), but Chae Baam was actually the most aggressive of the five siblings.
Fortunately, Nam Juno could handle Chae Baam just fine.
Truly deserving of his title as the leader.
"Noona, you're here."
It was Han Nora who greeted Viki.
And, yes, the blond boy addressed her as 'Noona' instead of 'Mama.'
My alien babies only call me 'Mama' in private— not in front of strangers.
"Yeah, I'm here. And thank you for being the bigger person," Viki said to her kids, standing in front of her alien babies protectively to face the Rebelheart bastards. "Kids, have you experienced having a broken bone?"
The Rebelheart bastards— composed of five handsome and (obviously) rich kids— looked confused. But these cheeky brats were clearly not listening to Viki either.
She could hear the rude jerks whispering among themselves.
"That noona is so damn beautiful…"
"Is she a Hunter? Only Hunters could be that pretty…"
"She's too tall for my taste, but yeah, that face card is insane…"
"Plus, her body…"
Viki felt the bloodlust oozing from her alien babies when the Rebelheart bastards started paying attention to her body.
She changed the topic because it would be troublesome if her alien babies snapped there.
"It's something I learned on social media recently," Viki said, not waiting for the Rebelheart bastards to respond. "The no broken bone theory suggests that a person who has not yet broken a bone in their body, at any point in their life, is meant to experience immense physical, emotional, and spiritual pain."
Of course, at this point, the Rebelheart bastards looked even more confused.
Well, except for one person.
The leader of Rebelheart, the boy who looked prim and proper outside, smiled at Viki.
That smile was anything but innocent, of course.
"Noona, I was told I was quick on the uptake," the leader of the Rebelheart said. He was smiling, and he using polite words (even calling Viki 'noona' as if they were close). However, the cheeky bastard's tone was condescending. "Don't tell me you're going to break our bones under the guise of "helping" us so we won't have to suffer immense physical, emotional, and spiritual pain? But, in reality, you just want to teach us a lesson."
"Why would I want to teach you a lesson?" Viki asked, flashing a smile as fake as the brat's smile. "Is it because you know that all of you are bullies?"
"Noona, stating facts doesn't make us bullies."
"Sure, but stealing an innocent group's spot is."
"That's a heavy accusation, Noona. Do you have proof?"
"Do we need proof when we're just having a nice conversation here? Let's stop playing dumb, kids," Viki said, smirking. "All of you have an A-Class or B-Class Hunter for a relative. You used your relatives' status to pressure the production staff to include you in Idol Chemistry even after knowing that all the spots for the participants have been taken already."
It was the story that she had heard from the production assistant earlier.
And it seemed true because the other kids flinched as if they were guilty.
But the leader of Rebelheart remained smiling.
How obnoxious.
"Don't worry, I'm not recording this conversation. There's not even a CCTV in this room. Otherwise, you wouldn't have bullied my kids here," Viki said, crossing her arms over her chest. "So, feel free to show us your real colors. I want to have an honest conversation with you."
"Noona, girls are prettier when they are quiet," the leader of the Rebelheart said, finally showing his true personality. He was still smiling, but he was no longer hiding the arrogance on his face and tone. "Even if you know the truth, what can you do about it? We don't only have Hunters in our families— we also have relatives who have connections to the government."
"You rely too much on your family members, kid. If they all die, you'll become orphans like my kids. What can you do by then?"
This time, the arrogant smirk on the Rebelheart's leader's face disappeared. "Noona, are you threatening our families?"
"Aww, you're scared of losing your family members. I don't get why you use the word 'orphan' as an insult when it looks like you know how scary and sad it is to be one. Just so you know, I can make all of you orphans if I want to."
"How dare you threaten—"
"Did you record it when I threatened you? Well, even if you did, what can you do about it? Once I kill all your families, you'll have no one to protect your spoiled ass anymore."
"Lies," the leader of the Rebelheart said when he recovered. "You don't have the power or the means to touch our families, Noona."
"Try me. I'm begging you to give me a reason to kill your families," Viki said, her voice cold and harsh this time. "Then I won't have to feel guilty about creating more orphans in this world."

"M-MISS YOUNG, I'm sorry, but I couldn't bring PD Lim here. The owner of anTV came unannounced, so all the higher-ups are busy attending to him…"
Oh, right.
Viki almost forgot that she had asked the production assistant to bring PD Lim to her.
I got worked up because of those Rebelheart bastards.
She only calmed down when she saw the pure fear in the cheeky brats' eyes after she threatened to kill their families.
"It's alright," Viki said, waving her hand. "We'll just come back later."
The production assistant looked relieved.
Since Viki was in a hurry, she just said her goodbyes to the other production team members whom they encountered.
She made sure that her alien babies would greet everyone politely before leaving.
And, after that…
"Kids, I already called a taxi," Viki said after walking her alien babies to the side of the road. "Go home first."
"Mama, are you going to kill them?" Han Nora whispered. "We can help."
Aigoo.
Han Nora, despite his princely act most of the time, was really the most merciless of all the other alien babies.
"Y-You're going to kill them, Mama?" Yu Gamin asked, and then he placed his hands over his chest. "For us? Aww. I'm touched."
Huh?
"Mama, you're really willing to put blood in your hands just to get back our spot on the show?" Do Eunwoo asked, and he looked just as touched as Yu Gamin. "Mama, I can burn the corpses for you."
Aigoo.
Chae Baam then smacked the back of Do Eunwoo's head. "Shut up, Do Eunwoo. The adults are talking."
"Why are you only hitting me, Baam Hyung?" Do Eunwoo complained. "It was Yu Gamin who spoke first before me! And he's the youngest!"
"If you don't stop yelling, I'll hit you again."
"Baam Hyung is really like a chihuahua— small but aggressive."
"Who are you calling 'small,' you big idiot?"
And, just like that, Chae Baam and Do Eunwoo started bickering again.
Yu Gamin had to literally hold back Chae Baam to stop him from hitting Do Eunwoo again.
On the other hand, Han Nora— the oldest who should be stopping the fight— just cheered while clapping his hands.
"Fight, fight, fight!"
Aigoo.
"Mama, you don't have to do this for us," Nam Juno, the only sane and logical one among the kids, said worriedly. "I'm sure we can find another way to debut as idols."
I know that, but…
"Those cheeky bastards don't deserve the spot they stole from you," Viki said, gently patting Nam Juno's shoulder. "Don't worry— I'll just break their bones so that the no broken bone theory won't apply to them~"

VIKI had to wait for half an hour before the Rebelheart bastards finally came out of the building and got in the SUV that picked them up.
It's the type of SUV that most celebrities use.
Oh, she suddenly felt the need to buy her alien babies the same car.
I should get this done and over with then.
Viki had already taken care of all the CCTVs in the basement parking.
She also made sure that no one else— except for her and the Rebelheart bastards (plus the group's unlucky manager-slash-driver)— were there before she stomped her foot on the ground.
As soon as she did that, the asphalt collapsed.
And, just like that, a Sinkhole swallowed up the entire basement parking— except for the small spot where she was standing.
I should wait for at least two minutes before I follow them.
Viki smirked when she heard the loud screams of the Rebelheart bastards while their SUV was falling into the black void.
But the screams didn't last long since the void swallowed up even the sounds.
Heh.
Don't worry, kids— that Sinkhole is a Sinkhole that I already "edited," so you won't encounter any monsters there.
Viki checked the time on her watch.
I guess it's fine to follow them below.
And, so, she jumped into the black void as if she were an adrenaline junkie jumping from a plane to engage in skydiving.
Then, all of a sudden…
"Are you going to kill those kids?"
What the fuck?
Viki's eyes widened in shock when she heard a voice coming next to her while she was in the middle of free-falling.
I didn't feel anyone's presence until they spoke!
When she turned to her side, she was greeted by a pair of glowing red eyes.
It was dark there, but she still recognized the man instantly.
My modern Northern Duke…
Won Yiwon.
Viki's very own modern Northern Duke, Won Yiwon, had caught her before she could even start her revenge.
This is so not the reunion I dreamed of…
