"She's a mess off gorgeous chaos, and you can see it in her eyes"

"Sera... stop crying and get to the point!" I snap into the phone. This better not be another prank of hers. She sobbed for a minute or two before saying.
"It's not a prank, Lorenzo..... He... Rocco—"
I didn't need another word out of her to get the gist of it. Rocco's touched my cousin inappropriately and I will not stand for it. Not her and not any other women. His terror ends now.
Hanging up the call, I walk to my car—a deep siege of rage brewing inside my veins, focused and cold.
With practiced ease I drive off, picking up speed to that bar he calls 'La Casa Del Cielo'—a ridiculous name if I've ever heard one.
Sera Romano
The call disconnects, and I slump against the wall, the weight of what I've just told Enzo echoing in my mind like constant reminder. My breath comes out ragged gasps, tears stinging at edge—threatening to fall. God knows what Enzo will do when he finds Rocco.
What If he does something stupid? "Where the fuck is he?"
His voice boomed through the halls—bouncing back and forth through the now empty rooms. I walked out of the giant freezer and up the stairs. Each step felt as I'm trekking through thick jello.
Face to face. Enzo and me. "Wait Enzo.. You shouldn't—"
His face was a deep shade of red, as he adjusted his cuffs. "Where is he, Sera?"
"It's not... he's in the VIP area lounging and drinking."
I didn't say anything about him touching another girl besides me. She had left after her shift. Pushing past me he strides away to give Rocco a piece of his mind or his fist.
Lisa Castellano
Since he wasn't here or the fact he dismissed our little rendezvous like nothing I wanted to call my dad. Marco stood there watching me. "You should have gone with you?"
"Boss isn't a child."
Can't get rid of right hand man. Okay. The silence was stretching on and on. My thoughts kept spiraling too and I scratched my brain. There must be something I'm forgetting. What the hell is it?
"Weren't we supposed to be training with my gun?"
Marco gives me swift nod, confirming my point. Right, that's what it was.
Lorenzo Romano
I only see red as I march right up to the VIP lounge and tear the door open. My footsteps slow yet as I walk up to him and grab him by the collar—a hiss escaped me. I shoved him and pinned him against the wall.
"Hey man calm down," he said. Smug bastard. Calm down? For his fuckery? I grunt—pressing him harder onto the wall, small cracks beginning to take hold behind him.
"You're asking me, a Romano to calm down?" I say, through gritted teeth.
The clicking of heels seemed far, and her voice, "Please, Lorenzo! He's not worth it! Let him go."
I don't intend on letting this snake out of my grasp—not even for a second. Her arm grabs mine trying to plead with me but I'm too far ahead in my game of revenge to see I've hurt her.
Thud—someone hits something. I am seeing only him in my vision. No one gets to hurt anyone, not even a woman.
Lisa Castellano
Okay Lisa, just focus on the target and shoot. Should be easy. I aim—eyes on the target Marco set up, and take a deep breath. And shoot. Loud popping rang through, almost making my ears bleed.
I rub my ears trying to keep myself from going deaf. "Ma'am... you've missed the bullseye by a few.... Inches."
"Oh, I did?" I reply, staring at him. He doesn't even flinch. "Marco, this is getting.... Not good. And I have no clue how Enzo's doing."
"I'm sure Boss is fine."
I roll my eyes. "Great. Thanks. Just can you take me to him."
"Take you to him?" He asks, eyebrows raised—adjusting his suit. If Enzo is doing okay he should have been here a few minutes ago.
Lorenzo Romano
Having him still pinned, I use my right and punch, my fist connecting with his face—a sickening yet satisfying crunch. A bruise started forming on his face, which made me all the more ecstatic. "You... will never touch anyone ever again, you hear me? Or do I need to teach you another lesson?"
The sick bastard laughed—blood boiled under my veins. "Or maybe you should check on your chick..." he said, nodding behind me. That's when it hits me. Sera's hurt?
I release my hold on him, and it gives him a perfect opportunity to escape. "Sera...?"
Holding her, I lightly tap her cheek. Why isn't she waking? My eyes scan her entire body—landing onto her head. Dark red tendrils of blood, dripping down her forehead—right side. Sera...She's not... responding.
