Jinchul glanced at him and nodded. " I will ask the chairman. Now, come with me. As a head of hunting department associate, you need to you sharpen your fighting skills."
" Where are we going?" Zayden asked.
" To the dungeon. The chairman managed to grab a dungeon from the White Tiger Guild."
" What rank?"
" It is C. Since you are A-Rank, you can clear it yourself."
Zayden let out a relief silently. On the outside, he showed a dissatisfied expression. " What a bummer? I thought I would be fighting High ranked dungeon."
" You will but not right now. Now, Let's hurry up. Otherwise the White Tiger would take the dungeon."

Zayden entered inside the black car and stayed silent. He closed his eyes and whispered faintly.
" System shows me my mana core progression."
A blue panel emerged from the space and revealed information.

Zayden tilted his head and gave a confused look at Jinchul. " What?"

" Yes, I am itching to try out my power."
The car parked beside the gate and a girl with armor greeted them. Jinchul gave a nod to her and introduced Zayden.
" She will be a member of your party. Her name is Kim Soo-ah. Since you are mage, I picked someone who can fight in close combat. Oh, she is B-Rank."
" Nice to meet you, Miss Kim."
" Likewise."
Jinchul nodded and asked Soo-ah. " Where is the white tiger?"
" Their guildmaster called them so they left the gate with their newbie." Soo-ah turned around and pointed at a young man in a business suit. He wore thick glasses and held a clipboard.
" I see. Then let's start the hunt after I exchange a few words." With that, Jinchul walked over to the young man and exchanged a few words.
Zayden started stretching his body and jumped up and down.
" Are you nervous?" Soo-ah asked. Her red hair is neatly tied behind her head. Her armor was not flashy like the one he always saw on television. It was dark blue.
It stood out because the missmatch nature of her colour.
Red armor would be nice to her.
She carried a long sword similar to his.
Zayden shook his head. " I am just excited for the hunt."
" I see. Make sense since you are A-Rank. Can you use healing magic?"
" I don't know. I haven't try it yet but I got a feeling that I will be able to perform that eventually."
" Okay. Just don't act cocky in the dungeon,please. After all, my life depends on your strength."
Zayden froze and looked at Soo-ah. He saw a worried look behind her eyes.
As he was about to speak, Jinchul came up and said, " Come now."
Zayden walked over to the gate with a mix feeling.
Perhaps I am viewing this lightly.
The gate was white with a mix of faint blue added to it. The mana emitted from the gate was not strong.
He turned around and looked at his group.
The strongest was Jinchul. His role in this hunt was to teach Zayden and tested him.
The second strongest was Kim Soo-ah. He didn't know her but considering she is B-Rank Hunter, Zayden didn't underestimate her's strength.
And he was ranked third.
White Tiger's representative also followed the hunt.
Must be the guildmaster orders. Reporting my ability to the guild. Smart but dumb.
" Alright, now let the hunt begin."
Zayden entered inside the gate and the rest followed.
" Do you know anything about this dungeon's monster?" Zayden asked the young man.
" Ah.."
Jinchul stopped the young man and said in a serious tone, " He didn't know about the monsters."
" Alright." Zayden smiled.
" Miss Kim stayed beside me. You will be my sword." Zayden winked at her.
Even if I act nonchalantly, I will make sure my team will not suffer any wounds.
" As for Jinchul, you just protect our White Tiger's member."
" Yes." Soo-ah drew her sword and took a fighting stance. She emitted a faint red mana and her eyes scanned across the surrounding area.
Quite obedience.
Zayden ignored her and looked around the dungeon.
Let's test my range.
Zayden closed his eyes and manipulated mana inside the core. He spread outside the surrounding area and let the wind carry it.
His sense increased, the taste in the air. The beating hearts around him. He could hear it.
He opened his eyes and smiled. " Found it. So this dungeon is just a dog's lair."
" No need to move, they will come right at us." Zayden said to Soo-ah.
Jinchul raised an eyebrow. His sense is much sharper than mine. He can directly tell the monster's type. Impressive. Useful for the unknown dungeon.
Now, let's see your adaptive ability.
