Chapter 2 - Prefix

Jonathan Marcus Drago was special. And saying that is the absolute understatement of the last few millennia. His father was an Angel and his mother a human. That made him a Nephilim. Up to that point, his life could have been quite normal. Were it not for the fact that his father was not just any Angel. His father was the first Angel, the first Archangel. Knowing the first few sentences in the Bible is enough to know who his father is. "And God said, Let there be light..." and that was Jon's father, the Lightbringer, better known to humanity as Lucifer the Devil. So Jonathan was not only a Nephilim but also the Antichrist. Being the son of the King of Hell and being the grandson of the God and Goddess was enough in itself to have a pretty messed-up life. And Jon's life was, as he said himself, absolutely FUBAR. Just because he was who he was, by pure chance of being born, tended to complicate things for him astronomically.

Being the Antichrist was something the inhabitants of Heaven and Hell never failed to remind him of since he had turned twenty-one and thus had grown fully into his powers. What no one had taken into account, however, was the stubbornness of this Antichrist. He refused to unleash the apocalypse. He absolutely did not want to be responsible for the death of billions of people. The fact that both Heaven and Hell kept nagging at him to unleash the carnage made him anything but happy. It had become instinctive for him to act without hesitation, and he did not shy away from violence. The fact that he was the Antichrist made him so enormously more powerful than any Demon or Angel. Hence, they feared him when he was in a wrathful mood. It became known very soon and very fast in both Heaven and in Hell that he could have an extremely short fuse. No Angel or Demon was suicidal enough to bother him with some additional trouble at those times. No one felt like becoming an Angel or Demon flambé. There had been an ultimate attempt to change his mind at a meeting on neutral Earth. The only result of that meeting was a more-than-pissed-off antichrist who had threatened to burn down Heaven and Hell if any of them tried the slightest thing on Earth. Little did he know when he turned his back on God, his father, and the Archangel Michael in all his anger and wrath that this would be the triggering signal that would turn his whole life upside down. His life changed from being lonely and miserable, from being a weapon to starting a war, something man feared on Earth to a man humanity needed more than God.
