Chapter 17 - Chapter 17:The God Who Adapts

Gojo's Confidence Wavers

Gojo moved at lightning speed, his body flickering through the battlefield, warping space itself with every step.

Red. Blue. Purple.

He launched them relentlessly, each attack a force of pure annihilation.

Kaguyael walked through them.

Not dodging. Not blocking.

Simply walking.

The destructive forces of Gojo's most devastating techniques dissolved upon touching him, as if reality itself had deemed him untouchable.

For the first time in his life—Gojo felt something foreign.

Doubt.

Kaguyael: The Adaptive God

Kaguyael blinked.

In that instant, the divine light of his prescience illuminated all possibilities.

He had seen every variation of this battle, every permutation of Gojo's abilities.

And so, he changed.

His very existence evolved, adapting to the mechanics of Gojo's Infinity.

Gojo lunged forward, fist cocked back, ready to test his hypothesis.

Kaguyael moved.

Faster than sight. Faster than thought.

His hand—pale, elegant, divine—pierced Gojo's Infinity.

And then—

CRACK!

Gojo's head snapped back as a devastating fist connected with his face, sending him rocketing through Konoha, tearing through entire mountains before finally skidding to a halt.

The world seemed to pause.

The impossible had just happened.

Gojo Satoru—The Strongest—had been hit.

And it hurt.

Tobirama's Shock

From a distance, Tobirama's heart froze.

"He… he hit him," the Second Hokage whispered in disbelief.

His analytical mind raced, trying to make sense of what he had just seen.

Gojo's Infinity made it so that nothing—no force, no matter—could touch him unless he allowed it.

And yet, Kaguyael had overcome it.

Not with brute force. Not with some hidden technique.

But through sheer adaptation.

The Horror of Kaguyael's Ability

As Gojo slowly pulled himself from the rubble, Kaguyael simply tilted his head.

"I see," the celestial being mused. "You believed yourself untouchable. You relied on an incomplete form of absolute defense."

Gojo wiped the blood from his mouth, but he was grinning.

"So, what? You're saying you just… adapted to Infinity?"

Kaguyael nodded. "Correct."

His golden-silver eyes gleamed.

"I am an Ōtsutsuki who stands above all. I do not simply resist obstacles—I erase the concept of limitation. Any force, any rule, any law of existence… I adapt, until it no longer applies to me."

He raised his hand, opening his palm.

"The moment I understood your technique, it ceased to be effective."

A faint hum filled the air as his presence grew even more overwhelming.

"It is inevitable. You, Gojo Satoru, will break. Your power is fascinating, but like all things, it is nothing before me."

Gojo's smirk never faded.

"Damn. You really do have the 'god complex' thing down, huh?"

But deep inside—he knew.

This was different.

This wasn't just another fight.

This wasn't Madara.

This was something else entirely.

And for the first time in his life—Gojo felt at a disadvantage.

Hashirama's Desperate Decision

Watching the battlefield from the village walls, Hashirama clenched his fists.

If Gojo was struggling…

Then this enemy was beyond anything the Shinobi World had ever faced.

"We need to act now, Tobirama."

Tobirama, gritting his teeth, nodded. "We must assist him. But we can't leave the village unprotected."

Hashirama exhaled, his face dark with resolve.

"Then I will go."

Tobirama's eyes widened. "Brother, you—"

"We don't have a choice."

And with that, Hashirama Senju—the God of Shinobi—moved toward the battlefield.

Gojo vs. Kaguyael: Round Two

Gojo adjusted his blindfold.

"You figured out Infinity, huh?"

His Six Eyes blazed.

"Good."

His aura surged, the very air around him warping as his Limitless reached new levels.

Kaguyael merely watched, unshaken.

Gojo cracked his knuckles.

"I guess I'll just have to show you why I'm still the strongest."

And with that, the true battle began.
