The battle ground on the island was full of hunters. Some were standing behind fences, and others were sitting on chairs, waiting for the fight to begin. In the VIP section, the kings of different kingdoms were watching too.
Amiya, an S-rank hunter from the kingdom of Alzard, known for his powerful blue fire.
In front of him stood Varric, another strong hunter from the kingdom of Elyria. He had a special power called Stone Lightning—a mix of lightning and earth energy.
A man stepped between them and shouted, "Start!"
As soon as the battle began, Varric rushed forward with his power. But Amiya calmly said, "Fire of Swords." In a blink, 100 fire swords appeared around him and flew at Varric. Varric was shocked. He barely dodged them, but his hunter outfit caught fire and started burning.
Varric quickly used his strongest move. He shouted, "Zardos!" The power was so strong that the ground cracked beneath them. Amiya couldn't dodge it completely and got scared. He looked shocked as he felt Varric's real strength.
Varric smiled and said, "Is that all you've got?"
In another part of the arena, in a special section, sat three SSS+ rank hunters: Zaren, Finn, and Jaxon. They were watching the duel closely.
Zaren turned to Jaxon and asked, "If Crimson was that powerful… who defeated him?"
Jaxon looked surprised but smiled. "She was a woman named Azalea—the Flare Goddess. She was the strongest human alive. She used all her power to defeat and seal Crimson."
Finn added, "Her powers were sealing and gravitational destruction. But after sealing Crimson, she lost her powers actually she was crimson's sister."
Jaxon nodded. "Yes. When she sealed him, she cried. Azalea bowed her head and said, 'I'm sorry, brother.' Before he was sealed, she used a power called Zanos. It made her immortal like him, but she lost all her powers."
Finn continued, "Now, she lives in a small kingdom named Wardo. She trains young hunters there but can't use powers herself anymore."
Zaren sighed. "That's a lot to take in…"
Suddenly, Jaxon grinned. "Zaren, let's have a 2v1 duel. Me and Finn vs you."
Zaren was shocked. "What?! Where do you get these crazy ideas?"
Finn laughed. "Come on, Zaren. Let's see how strong you really are."
Zaren sighed again. "Fine… if you say so."
Back on the battlefield, Varric defeated Amiya. The announcer shouted, "Varric from the Kingdom of Elyria wins!"
Just then, a man ran to the announcer. "Sir! The three SSS+ rank hunters want to fight a 2v1 battle!"
The man was shocked. "What?!"
He looked at the audience, then smiled. "Well… this will be fun! Our strongest hunters are going to fight right now!"
The crowd went wild. Even the kings stood up, shocked. King Alaric of Elyria said, "Zaren is going to fight Finn and Jaxon… alone? Is he crazy?"
In the audience, Maria watched nervously. "Zaren… what are you doing?"
All three SSS+ rank hunters walked onto the battlefield. Their powers filled the air. Hunters started talking to each other.
"Zaren must be really strong if Finn and Jaxon are teaming up against him…" Hunters were saying to eachother.
On the right side stood Finn and Jaxon. On the left stood Zaren, calm but serious. Every eye was on them.
King Alaric whispered, "Now we'll see how powerful you really are… Zaren."
