After the fourth-year class, everyone was quite interested in their next Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson, as the first class had left many "corpses" wandering through the corridors of Hogwarts.
Meanwhile, Einar was walking through the halls of Hogwarts, as he hadn't had time to explore the school before because he arrived a bit late. As he walked, his instincts as an adventurer and ruins explorer urged him to investigate every last detail of the great castle and uncover all its secrets. But he had to restrain himself... for now.
After a while, he had to return to his classroom, where he would teach the third years.
When he entered the classroom, he saw Ginny, who looked at him surprised by his arrival, while the other students stared at him with a bit of fear. The fourth-year students had told them terrifying things about this professor, so everyone remained silently in their seats.
This time, he would be teaching Ravenclaw and Gryffindor.
Just as Einar was about to ask about their previous classes, a young Ravenclaw girl quickly raised her hand.
Einar looked at her intently. A blonde girl with rather peculiar earrings from Ravenclaw looked at him with a smile as she raised her hand.
Einar simply pointed at her to speak while he sat down at his desk.
"Why are there so many dragons? Didn't it hurt?" the girl suddenly asked as she pointed at Einar with interest.
Einar quickly looked into the girl's eyes with seriousness and interest. Then he stood up and walked toward her.
"Special eyes... What's your name?" Einar asked as he stood in front of the young girl.
"Luna Lovegood," the young girl replied quickly, still staring at Einar with interest.
Meanwhile, everyone else was watching Luna's interaction with Einar closely.
"Quick answer: I ate them. And no, it didn't hurt," Einar said as he returned to his desk, giving Luna a quick glance.
"Now, can any of you tell me what you've learned so far?" Einar asked quickly.
But everyone was too scared to raise their hands, so Einar had to choose Ginny.
"Ginny, you say it," Einar said quickly.
"Well... In first year, we learned with Professor Lockhart about plays, and in second year, Professor Lupin taught us about gnomes, trolls, and yetis, and the Verdimillious, Disarming, and Rictusempra charms," Ginny replied quickly with a bit of nervousness.
"Wait... Did you say in your first year you learned about plays?" Einar asked, not fully understanding.
"Yes. Professor Lockhart made us perform plays based on his books," Ginny said quickly, with a bit of embarrassment.
Einar was already feeling a headache and started to understand why the fourth-year students were so bad in battle. According to what Harry and Hermione had said, their first professor only taught theory, meaning they only had one good professor out of the three they had before Einar.
"At least you learned the Disarming Charm," Einar said as he sighed.
Then he quickly made everyone do the same training as the fourth years, while Einar watched from the side, thinking about the higher-year classes and whether they would give him the same headaches.
Einar watched the students throw the Disarming Charm at each other while their partners dodged. But his attention was drawn to where Luna and Ginny were.
"Come on, Luna, don't get distracted," Ginny said, stopping again because her sparring partner kept looking randomly elsewhere from time to time.
Einar only watched her for a second but let the class continue until it finally ended when everyone was exhausted from casting spells. After all, they were younger, so they had less magic to cast. Once again, half of the students left the classroom with the word "corpse" painted on their foreheads.
Meanwhile, Ginny and Luna earned themselves the same word on their foreheads for stopping their sparring repeatedly.
"Goodbye, Professor Little Dragon," Luna said while waving at Einar with a warm smile and calmly walking out of the classroom.
"Little Dragon?..." Einar was a bit surprised by a new nickname earned out of nowhere. He sighed.
"Excuse me, Professor Einar. The Headmaster wants to see you in his office," said Professor McGonagall, entering Einar's classroom.
"Alright," Einar said as he calmly stood up.
"The password is lemon sherbet," McGonagall said before walking off in another direction.
...….
"Come in, Einar," Dumbledore said as the young man entered his office with firm steps, taking a seat in front of the headmaster's desk without hesitation.
"Get to the point. I still have a class to teach," Einar replied bluntly.
"Very well. First, this arrived from the Ministry. These are your papers. It seems you received some help from the goblins," Dumbledore commented, handing over an envelope with documents.
"Well, I just gave them a piece of armor I found in a ruin as payment for their troubles," Einar said calmly, as he carefully stored the documents that confirmed his false nationality and other meticulously prepared details.
"I actually called you here to ask you something far more important," Dumbledore continued, fixing his gaze on the young man with seriousness.
"Just say it," Einar replied indifferently, as if he didn't care at all what the old man might want from him.
"I've noticed that when young Potter arrived at the castle, something was missing from him. I would like to know why and how it happened," Dumbledore said directly, as Einar had requested.
A smile appeared on Einar's face as his eyes locked onto the old man's with a challenging gleam.
"So, I was right... You always knew," Einar commented, while Dumbledore remained silent, waiting for him to continue.
"Before I answer you, let me ask you a much more important question," Einar said, leaning forward, his gaze sharp as a knife. "Did you know that for him to be free of it, Potter would have to die?"
Dumbledore's face turned serious, but his silence was enough of an answer for Einar.
"You knew..." Einar said in a cold and cutting voice. "All this time, a student in your school carried a disgusting curse on his forehead, and you knew he would probably die because of it."
"Before you continue, you should know that young Potter is part of a prophecy that involves the future of our magical world," Dumbledore interjected quickly, as if trying to justify his decisions.
"Prophecy?" Einar clenched his fists in fury. "So, because of that prophecy, you allowed the person who killed his parents to infiltrate as one of your professors? Or you let a giant snake endanger all your students?"
"How did you...?" Dumbledore was surprised Einar knew so much. That information had been kept secret from most.
"Do you seriously think I wouldn't investigate the place that hired me?" Einar said with disdain. He had gathered that information from drunks at the Leaky Cauldron and pieced things together by talking to Harry and Hermione.
"I was part of a prophecy too, and I know better than anyone how foolish those who think they understand them can be, manipulating others' lives based on them," Einar growled, his words filled with venom. "They practically forced me to do unnecessary things because they believed I was part of that stupid prophecy. Even in the end, they wanted me to kill my own master."
Dumbledore remained silent, his face serious and pensive.
"Do you know what I did to those idiots?" Einar continued, and the room began to tremble slightly with each word spoken. "I decapitated them and threw their bodies from the highest mountain. When I found the blind priest proclaiming that my task was over after killing Alduin, I realized that everything I had done was in vain. All those actions only fed their egos, making them believe that thanks to them the prophecy was fulfilled."
"Don't try to control a young man's life just to send him to die because you interpreted a prophecy however you wanted. Your disgusting pride will have nothing to do with whether Harry can defeat whoever he needs to defeat," Einar spat with contempt.
The portraits in the office watched with interest, some of them horrified by what they had just heard. But one of them couldn't remain silent and spoke angrily:
"How dare you speak to the headmaster of Hogwarts like that!? You are a mere professor..."
Before he could finish shouting, everyone watched in astonishment as a black and red dagger embedded itself in the portrait's chest with deadly precision.
"Aaaaah!" The figure in the portrait screamed, writhing in pain, something impossible for an ordinary painting.
"I am Einar, the Dragon of the North, Archmage of the College of Winterhold, champion of every Daedric Prince as well as the Aedra, Thane of the Nine Holds, Listener of the Dark Brotherhood, master of the Thieves Guild, and holder of dozens more titles," Einar said with a powerful voice that made every part of the castle tremble. "A mere headmaster is nothing to me."
"And now I am a professor," Einar continued, his gaze piercing Dumbledore like a sharp sword. "I am here to protect the students who need my help, as long as they do not commit something unforgivable. Harry Potter is one of them. If you wish to fire me, you can do so, but keep in mind that you will then have someone immensely powerful roaming freely in your world, a world that to me is as fragile as paper."
Einar then approached the portrait that was still groaning in pain, pulled out the dagger, and put it back in his belt before turning around and heading for the door, leaving without looking back.

I think I'm making this story way too epic. In the future, I hope to maintain the same level. But I can't stop. Hahaha, did anyone else get excited while reading this? I got excited while reading it for corrections, and I was the one who wrote it.
