So, he had directly connected with Eternatus through telepathy to facilitate his commands.

Eternatus let out a low growl, its long, skeletal tail glowing with a green light as it swung heavily.
The Dragon Tail shattered the ice pillars into pieces.

Immediately after, Eternatus brought its sharp claws together, forming a deep purple cross-shaped energy blade that shot fiercely toward the charging Ice Rider Calyrex.

Eternatus was a Poison/Dragon-type Pokémon, while Ice Rider Calyrex was a Psychic/Ice-type!
Strictly speaking, Eternatus was at a disadvantage in terms of typing.
Psychic was strong against Poison, and Ice was strong against Dragon!
But compared to Zacian's overwhelming type advantage over Eternatus, Calyrex's type advantage was negligible.
At least Poison and Dragon-type moves would still deal normal damage to Calyrex.
A type disadvantage battle? For our Poison/Dragon duo, that's just business as usual!
And Ryuu Shiro, having grown through countless battles, was no stranger to fighting at a type disadvantage.

Under the tremendous force, Eternatus's massive body was pushed back.
In pain, Eternatus let out an angry roar.
"Don't let it escape! Dragon Claw!"
Ryuu Shiro narrowed his eyes, giving the order to Eternatus through their mental link.
If this were a game, Ice Rider Calyrex's physical attack stat would be a staggering 165!
It was the strongest in close combat among Calyrex's three forms!
But logically, Ice Rider Calyrex should be very slow. Clearly, games couldn't be fully applied to reality.
Glastrier's charging speed—slow?
"You think you can hit and run? Not a chance."
Ryuu Shiro's gaze was fixed on the sky as Ice Rider Calyrex tried to create distance after landing a hit. A cold smile curled on his lips.

Enduring the pain in its neck, Eternatus's sharp claws glowed with a green light, tearing through the air as they swung fiercely toward Ice Rider Calyrex.
The Dragon Claw sliced through the icy wind!
Calyrex's eyes narrowed, and with a wave of its hands, a vibrant green energy ball shot out.

The Energy Ball collided with the Dragon Claw, but the hastily formed attack only delayed the Dragon Claw for a moment before being torn apart.

The Dragon Claw slammed heavily into Ice Rider Calyrex, sending it plummeting to the ground like a cannonball, kicking up a massive cloud of snow.
"So impressive!"
Marnie's eyes sparkled as she watched Eternatus's swift and powerful counterattack.
"It only looks impressive. Calyrex probably didn't take much damage."
Ryuu Shiro shook his head. Ice Rider Calyrex excelled in both physical attack and physical defense.
Though the Dragon Claw looked fierce, it was a forced counterattack from Eternatus, and it had been slightly weakened by Calyrex's Energy Ball.
It likely didn't deal as much damage as Calyrex's Double-Edge had to Eternatus.
"Calyrex and Glastrier… they're really troublesome."
Ryuu Shiro's eyes flickered. Strictly speaking, Ice Rider Calyrex was a single entity, but unlike Kyurem's fusion with Zekrom or Reshiram, Glastrier and Calyrex still had separate consciousnesses and could attack or defend simultaneously.
This "fusion" was undoubtedly terrifying.
