Beside a gently flowing stream outside Konoha, a six-year-old boy named Kumotsuru Torifū lay on the grass, hands behind his head, gazing up at the sky.
The sound of running water blended with the fragrance of wildflowers and fresh grass, filling the air with a peaceful tranquility.
"Ugh, this is miserable. No smartphone, no anime to watch…"
Suddenly, he muttered in frustration, "I shouldn't have given in to curiosity and watched Boruto. Look at me now—thrown into the early years of the Konoha, right after its founding! This is nothing but a death sentence!"
Torifū hadn't originally belonged to this world. In his past life, he had been a fresh university graduate, full of passion, ready to return to his hometown and contribute to its development. His biggest hobby had always been watching Naruto.
But then, he heard a rumor that the supposedly "non-flammable" Boruto series had finally started to heat up.
As a dedicated Shippuden fan, he had always looked down on Boruto, but curiosity got the better of him. He clicked on an episode, wanting to see what all the fuss was about.
And that was it—he literally burned to death from just opening the first episode! His smartphone exploded in his face and his house lit on fire.
The next thing he knew, his soul had crossed into this world, landing in the newly established Konoha, just five years after its founding. Worse still, he had inherited the title of Clan Head of the Kumotsuru Clan.
Sounds prestigious, right? But the reality was a joke.
Including his now-deceased parents, the Kumotsuru Clan had consisted of a grand total of three people.
In other words, he was the textbook definition of an orphaned transmigrator.

The string of notifications left Torifū stunned. "Wait, wait, wait. When I was fired up and ready to make history in the ninja world, I begged for a system, and it never showed up. But now that I've decided to go full-on couch potato, you show up?!"
"Damn it!"
After a round of pointless venting, Torifū gradually calmed down. He was now somewhat intrigued by this system that had such terrible timing.
"A 'Peaceful Life System'? From the name alone, it sounds like it's designed to help me slack off more effectively. Alright, let's see what you've got!"
With anticipation, he commanded, "System, open the Starter Gift Pack."

Torifū's brain momentarily shut down.
"The hell?! Which part of this helps me enjoy peace?! This is blatant false advertising! What kind of scam system is this?!"
His meticulously planned two-year strategy of being an inconspicuous background character crumbled instantly.
After a long silence, he exhaled and muttered, "Fine… strength is the foundation of a peaceful life."
Then, his face twisted in frustration. "Like hell it is! This is pure nonsense!"
No matter how much he ranted, the system remained indifferent.
Resigned to his fate, Torifū mentally opened the system interface, which clearly displayed his current stats:

Simply put, if someone around him planned to harm Konoha, it would trigger a 'Chaos Event.'
Successfully resolving it would increase his Peace Value, which could be exchanged for rewards. (Living in the Leaf for one day would automatically grant him 100 Peace Points.)
If he failed, Chaos Value would increase. If it ever exceeded 70, he'd lose his strength until it dropped below 70 again.
All major historical events in the village would also count as Chaos Events.
He calculated, 'Six years until the war… That should be enough time to build my strength. '
