The name Labyrinth of Nyx . It was spoken only in whispers, buried in texts, and fear by those who challenged the Pantheon. No one who entered had ever returned.
Yet, for Celeste, there was no other path.
She stood before the members of the resistance in the dimly lit hideout, her decision firm. "We leave tomorrow."
A murmur spread through the room. Some nodded. Others looked away, unwilling to meet her gaze.
Dain scoffed, shaking his head. "You realize what you're asking, right? The Labyrinth isn't some abandoned place. It's a death sentence."
Celeste met his gaze "Ok and?"
The room fell silent.
Dain ran a hand through his hair and exhaled sharply. "Fine. Let's say we do this. How do we even find it? The Labyrinth doesn't have a map, and it's not exactly marked "
The woman—who had first spoken of the Labyrinth—stepped forward. "There is a way."
She placed a tome onto the table, its cover worn, the pages yellowed. The symbols etched into its surface pulsed faintly with traces of Aether.
"This is one of the oldest texts we have" she explained. "It speaks of the Labyrinth not as a place, but as a shifting realm hidden under the fabric of our world. It exists where the light of the Pantheon does not go."
Celeste frowned. "Then how do we get to it?"
The woman flipped open the book "There is a gateway. A place where the boundaries between our world and the Labyrinth are weakest." She paused, then looked up. "it's within the ruins of the first temple ever built in Eidolon."
Dain said. "Of course it does."
Celeste's expression hardened. The ruins of the First Temple were deep was surrounded by Enclave forces and divine wards designed to keep out intruders. It was one of the most dangerous places they could go.
And yet, it was their only chance.
She turned back to the resistance members. "Then we go and open that gateway."
No one spoke. Then, one by one, those willing to follow her stepped forward.
Dain groaned. But then he smirked. " lets go I'm in."
Celeste exhaled.
The first step into the unknown.
