Inside the canyon Edward created, Wei Li and Jamir gather to plan an assault
"Wei Li, I am confident that I can stand against its aggression, but are sure you can damage it that heavily?"
"It is only rank 4 Jamir, granted it is quite big, but I can damage it, are you sure you can stand under its assault? You are only at tier 4."
"You have also only broken through once, what are you trying to say?"
"Nothinggg... Its just, your offense is impressive, but your defense isnt too great"
Wei Li being blunt, but her attitude makes Jamir more concerned than offended

Edward stepping off the back of his mount and into what used to be Shadys territory, takes his left over Chi flowing pills and mediates. Only taking in Chi to fill his tapped out cores, action that is as simple as breathing to Edward, he looks through his soul at Liam.
Liam sitting with his back at the base of a cliff, ensures that there is nothing around him before pouring his Chi into his new sword
"Rank 5 beasts are now only slight competition, they no longer give me the sensation of facing death. They were great practice over the last two weeks, I can now use Roaring Dragons Fang on my sword and both palms. Im at the peak of tier 7 and need greater pressure to drag out deeper understanding, of both my dao and technique."
Closing his eyes and only gathering the most compressed Chi inside of his cores to nourish his sword, Liam prepares to lay his life down again

Happy with Liams progress and mindset, Edward vows to only intervene after and if Liam suffers fatal wounds and not before.
Summoning his viper from his ring, the moment it materializes he is drawn towards the golden eagles sharp claws. Most ground spirit beasts have a harsh relationship with those who are flight enabled

The viper while having no ingrained fear of the eagle as his ranged and poison ability sets him outside of the box of being natural prey, he has seen others get dove on and ripped apart unable to react
Showing outward hostility towards his mount Edward remains quiet and patient
[Beats will always want to establish who the alpha is, all that matters in the end, is that I am alone at the top of their hierarchy. Letting them fight then making an example of the winner is the wisest choice]
Summoning the two back into his artifact and releasing the Air Bear, Edward forces his submission via his soul, then summons his four fully matured beasts
The beasts showing hostilities from the moment they are conscious are interrupted by Edwards soul
"You four, I will not tolerate this discourse among my possessions."
Having their attention, he recalls his soul
"You four will have to work together in carrying out my directive in the future, so fight now and establish your hierarchy."
The Golden Eagle being the first to react jumps and soars high into the air avoiding the early battle, similarly Shady dives into the Air Bears large shadow.
The Poison Scaled Viper in a coil before the Air Bear wants to finish what was started before but is cautious of the bears shadow.
With his poison now at the surface, he shoots his scales at the bear
[I will call this move Hundred Toxic Scales Barrage] Edward planning out how to command his beasts
Weaving in winding patterns The Air bear showing agility on par with Shady, retreats from the barrage, out of scales the bear rushes forward swiping low with his claws and biting at the vipers head
With claws coming from the left and jaws at his right, the viper rushes the gap in the attack, straightening his body out and slithering under the bear's throat towards his stomach. Wrapping himself around the bear multiple times he squeezes and with fangs the size of knives bites the bear in the thigh of his hind leg.
The fast acting poison inside of him doesn't slow the Air Bear down, he rolls over crushing the viper under his weight
[This bear fights too straight forward, but he is worth nurturing]
The Golden Eagle flying circles above sees an opportunity in the struggle, compacting his body and diving towards the pair. The eagle throwing his hind legs forward and spreading his claws, notices the shadow under the bear move as Shady launches from it into the air.
The moment Shady was waiting for, the descent of the toughest opponent. The large sharp paw of Shady enhanced by his Chi, cause the eagle to turn from freefall into a hover, then with a powerful single flap of his wing he pushes himself out of the way turning him vertical with the ground
Shady also vertical is still going upward from his powerful leap from the shadow, the Golden Eagle with home field advantage swoops and draws blood from the stomach of Shady with his front legs claws
With his gut pierced by the claws Shady tightens his core muscles, not from pain but in preparation. The Golden Eagle unable to pull himself from the panther looks up, a mistake the leaves his throat susceptive to Shadys bite
Taking the opportunity, Shady grabs hold of the eagles throat causing them to fall from the air, releasing his hold of the claws and neck, jumping off the eagle to prevent himself from becoming impaled, the eagle slams into the ground on his backside infront of Edward and Shady on his legs behind him
"Its not over, little kitty" Edward unimpressed
Shady who was waiting to be named leader of the group, senses scales in number hurling at him
While is gut has holes his body is still fit and robust but even with his reflexes physically dodging the attack would be close, so he dives into Edwards shadow.
With the barrage over the viper collapses but remains conscious from injuries
Danger gone Shady jumps from the shadow but is pulled back from Edward grabbing hold of his tail
"You are done. You were scared of the fight and hid behind your master, coward"
Edwards words cut Shady and pierce him deeper than the eagles claws had
"ROARR ROAR"
Shady lets out in defiance and rebuke
Edward holding his soul like a phoenix's wings on his back and circlet crown, pressure only Shady. Pulling his tail towards him which causes Shadys body to move backwards, Edward grabs the back of his neck where it meets his skull and forces his head down
Edwards soul causing fear inside of the viper and eagle, and awaking the bear from his state of unconsciousness, they all witness the discipline
"You are my beast, you can hold your head high and act mighty anywhere but in my presence. This is your final warning kitty, future insolence will result punishment severe." Gripping Shadys neck harder the more he tries to get loose, showing dominance in strength and spirit the other three have ingrained inside of them who they answer to
Shady on the other hand is still reluctant but the longer he is under Edwards soul, the more he feels its aspect and the long and brutal battle against the world that led to it becoming so grand
"roar" becoming limp and allowing Edward to stand over and restrain him, Shady becomes truly submissive to Edward not just for his life this time, but actually acknowledging the better beast and his better
Letting his soul return Edward grabs the viper and bear with his Chi and brings them closer to the group
"All of you are injured, but nothing is permanent thankfully. Before I heal your wounds, I will name you all and announce your ranking. You bear your name is now Brisk, and your ranking is fourth. You fight crude but show potential, I look forward to what you achieve under me. Shady while I want to call you kitty forevermore lady Azlan named you so I will honor her by calling you that name. Your ranking is third via disqualification. Viper your name is now Verdant, a call to your scales and poison, your ranking is second. Finally, my mount your name will be Griffin henceforth and your ranking is first. While you are injured badly you are the only one capable to continue the fight after Shadys disqualification, congratulations."
Taking herbs from his ring and tossing them at each beast
"Use these to heal what you can, and I will mend the rest later. Brisk you are poisoned so I will take care of that now."
Holding his arm towards Brisk, Edwards uses the Demonic Intermixing technique to the remove the poison from him
