Nathan has no idea where is he going or what he is walking into.
Their school building is quite large.
Somewhere in the ground floor on the western wing is the drama club .
Nathan stares in anticipation. As if one Rachel wasn't enough, there's more inside this damn club !
Front door looks ancient. Name board yellowish from not cleaning for years .
" Do you guys even know what cleaning is ?" sneers Nathan.
" This is where you are wrong again dude! "
Rachael throws a sly smile " it's called tradition! Our seniors left it for us ! "
The freshman form before, Daniel nods vigorously next to her.
" Anyway let me introduce -- "
The door opens before she can finish.
"Emily ! " Nathan yells " what the hell are you doing here ? " Disbelief dripping from his voice.
Emily looks just as taken aback as he is.
" What are you - ? " She glanced at Rachel at momentarily forgets Nathan is even here .
Rachael throws her hand like she is about to beat Emily up . And Emily jump into a crushing hug on her.
" I AM SO SORRY RACHAEL " She wails " i forgot to inform! You had to stand in hallway for hours ! "
Rachael , now trying to escape from her deathly hug grits out " oh shit ! Emily let go ! I understand! Ugh " she struggles " let go girl ! I can't breath! "
Emily does let go , face marred with kicked puppy expression " you are not mad right? "
" Well no ! " Rachael huffs and grins " thanks to you I have brought a new volunteer to our club ! "
Emily looks unsure whether to be concerned or excited.
" huh ? Who ?"
Rachael subtly nods at Daniel, and much to Nathan's growing confusion they did some mental math.
They both make a wired twrirl, spreading their arm apart pointing towards Nathan.
" Here he is Emily! Our brand new volunteer"
Emily's jaw nearly drops before she manges a stammering welcome .
The club room is quite huge . There's meeting area, then green room connected to stage .
" You are gonna spend most of your time near stage and green room " Daniel explains.
Much to Nathan's disappointment the stage is huge . And so are the green rooms.
Just staring upto the ceiling makes your neck cranky .
Emily is like 5 ft behind him . Fidgeting.
Nathan glances at her , eyes narrowing " so you wanna explain? "
Emily cracks a nervous smile " umm ? Do I ?"
Nathan snaps " Yes you do ! Drama club ? Really? Of all places ? Here ? "
Emily nods furiously" yes. Here ! I like it ! What's your problem!? "
Nathan 's face crunches up in disgust " you are a star athelete of our school!" rolling his eye hard to almost back of his head " you aren't supposed to be here ! You are supposed to be practicing!!"
" oh really " now Emily is narrowing her eyes " how unexpected! Mind explaining why you are here ? "
" I was forced to ! Do I look like i belong here !?"
" Actually you do ! " a smug Voice cuts in from behind .
Emily turns fast " president! "
Club president Alphonse stands tall , leaning on the doorframe . A sly smile half hidden on his lips .
Nathan can tell this guy is dramatic enough just from one look .
Alphonese smiles " good afternoon Emily! And to you too new volunteer ! "
He takes a few steps towards them , hands in pocket , and leans closer to Nathan like a tailor measuring his new fabric.
Nathan bends backward a little, frowns " what do you mean by that ? "
Alphonese lips are twitching in an amusing expression.
" Given how dramatic your questions are , I see you will fit in right away! "
Nathan's eye twitches in annoyance.
Control , Nathan , control yourself - his mind screams inside .
Alphonese straightens up leaning away from Nathan.
" Well well , you have got plenty of task to do" still smiling he continues " Rachael should be guiding you . But anyways do try to mingle . Peace out !! "
