Chapter 3
…
For now, he hoped—hoped that everything would be just fine. At least for the rest of the day.
The next day, after waking up, he quickly checked his system.
So, there were currently four different energies he gained from yesterday.
It was Joy: 50,
Love: 38,
Sorrow: 22, and
Hatred: 75
If this system were something based on what Kyren guessed as emotions, perhaps, there would be two more for him to discover.
At the very bottom was the store.
Each of the points represented emotions, which could be exchanged for many things with different origins.
- Joy Points: Could be exchanged for various practice methods of Nirvana, including all four types of Pathways, which were Energy, Soul, Body, and Possession (Angelic or Demonic).
It could also be used to increase Nirvana Energy inside his body.
And one more type inside the store that could be exchanged using Joy Points was food, fruits, cooking ingredients, food recipes, and many other consumable materials.
Kyren even saw ramyun, kung-pao chicken, BBQ ribs, etc.
He needed to forcefully stop himself from choosing anything inside, as he had many troubles now.
He couldn't be that piggy anymore. He needed to change in this new life.
- Love Points: Could be exchanged to forge bonds with chosen allies, enhancing their abilities and providing a temporary boost, like a support mage with their buff in a game.
It can also be exchanged for healing potions or elixirs, protective charms, or blessings that shield Kyren and his chosen companions from harm.
- Sorrow Points: Could be exchanged for poisons and poison ingredients. There was also an aphrodisiac listed there.
And, there was one more, which to temporarily or permanently summon an ancient or godly being.
Checking at the highest point reaching more than a hundred billion points, there was Flame Emperor, Ice Witch, Void Calamity, Golden Dragon Lord, and even a certain purple alien with his gloves completed with all the stones.
Unfortunately, the excitement was short-lived as Kyren didn't think he could even have enough points for that.
- For the last was Hatred Points: Could be exchanged to cast powerful curses or dark spells.
It can also be exchanged for forbidden knowledge, allowing him to learn advanced techniques or dark arts that enhance his combat abilities.
Additionally, it could also be used to summon vengeful spirits or entities that act on his behalf in battle.
. . .
Seeing all of those options, Kyren smiled gleefully, feeling that the days ahead wouldn't be so bad after all.
But that was a lie.
He was still very much concerned about that cursed status, where his soul would be sucked dry by a demon.
"Damn it…"
Kyren cursed to himself, realizing that the points needed to purge the curse were a staggering one million Love Points.
"How the hell am I supposed to accumulate that much?"
He wanted to scratch his head in frustration.
He had spent the entire day with his mother acting coos-coos, and all he had gained that morning was a pitiful 5 points.
Let's say he managed to acquire 60 points of Love in a day.
Multiply that by thirty days, then by twelve for one year, and again by twenty for the age at which the demon would come for his head.
Even without a calculator, Kyren could see that it wouldn't even reach 500,000 points.
"Damn it. Breathe in, breathe out. Calm down, Sam—I mean, Kyren. If the demon is only around the Foundation Domain, then it's just chump change compared to the protagonist level later in the novel."
"Yes, I may not be the protagonist in this story, but I have a cheat. I'm sure I can reach above the Foundation Domain before I turn twenty. The main thing I need to focus on is unlocking my talent and aptitude. That's how I can improve myself quickly."
As he searched for ways to unlock and enhance his talent or solve his current issue, Kyren narrowed his eyes in concentration, seriously examining the panel in front of him while lying in his cradle.
His intense focus drew a laugh from his mother, who was nearby, amused by the many expressions crossing her baby's face.
It was creepy if this was Earth in his previous life, but not so much here.
In this world, it was somewhat normal for children to be born as geniuses, especially since the arrival of Nirvana, which had gracefully fallen to Earth and was gradually being mastered by humans.
Most children were born handsome or pretty, as if that energy was trying to perfect life on Earth itself.
Hardly anyone was considered ugly, except for those pitiful souls who had fallen victim to certain diabolical curses.

The following days were repetitive. He spent most of his time either under the care of his nanny or his mom.
But there was one glaring problem: his nanny was downright a jerk.
He was rough when she handled him. Cruel and uncaring.
Not only was her look below mid, though still kinda pretty, but even her heart was at the bottom of the barrel.
Anyways, one of the many examples of her purposeful negligence occurred during feeding time when she carelessly brought him hot milk.
It was the kind of temperature just after boiling.
After a few seconds in the way, and without a moment's hesitation, she made him sip it straight away.
"The fuck…"
His tongue ended up severely burnt.
He couldn't help but cry out in anger and agony, but instead of comforting him, she left him alone.
He was waiting for his mother to arrive to show her what had happened to her beloved child, but she came only the next day.
Cannot bear the pain any longer, he was forced to use his treasured Love Points to be exchanged for a healing potion that automatically applied to him.
Yet, that night, that same nanny came to his room to give him a healing potion, and forcefully fed it to him while smiling insidiously.
Helpless, he could only gulp it down, half of it, while he puked the rest of it. Luckily, it wasn't a poison.
The nanny even pinched him in the area where he was first pinched by his so-called father, getting angry at his behavior of not swallowing all of it.
It was the day hatred truly blossomed within him.
"Oh god, just you wait until I'm strong enough. I will beat you myself," he muttered with his baby language and voice.
The next day, it was his mother who took care of him.
She soon discovered the bruises and grew increasingly anxious and concerned about the red mark that hadn't healed for so long.
Wanting to find a doctor, she brought him to the head family room, but not long after, she was kicked out.
Eventually, back in their room, with him in her embrace, she cried while softly comforting him, even though she seemed to be the one who needed comfort the most.
'Sigh, when I'm strong enough, I will leave this place and bring my mother with me,' Kyren vowed to himself, feeling sad when her mother cried, especially since most of it was due to her concern for him.
All things aside…
