Luna Everleigh's POV
***
The night was still. Peaceful.
For the first time in what felt like forever, I breathed.
I stood on the balcony again, watching as the moon bathed the land in silver light. Rhydian stood beside me, his hand clasped in mine, his warmth a steady anchor.
The kingdom had changed. Rebuilt itself from the ashes.
Kael and Nalia had taken their place as the new guardians of our borders, ensuring peace where there was once war. The Silver Fang Society had crumbled without Seraphine to lead them, and the echoes of Morganna's darkness had finally faded into nothingness.
And yet, as I stood there, I knew—this wasn't the end.
Life would always be uncertain. There would always be shadows lurking at the edges of our world.
But this time, we weren't standing at the precipice of war.
We were standing at the beginning of something new.
"Luna."
I turned to Rhydian, my heart swelling at the way he looked at me—like I was his entire world.
"You're quiet tonight," he noted, brushing his knuckles against my cheek.
I smiled softly. "Just thinking."
"About?"
I glanced down at my stomach, barely showing yet, but already carrying a future neither of us had dared to dream of. "Everything. Us. What comes next."
His fingers laced through mine. "Whatever it is, we'll face it together."
I believed him.
Because this—us—was something fate itself had tried to break. And yet, here we stood.
A king. A queen.
And soon, a child who would carry our legacy.
As the wind whispered through the trees and the moon shone down upon us, I leaned into Rhydian, letting the warmth of his presence settle deep into my bones.
This was our forever.
Beneath the moon.
The End.
