The walk from school to Allison's was long, he had broken a sweat or two but he had also noticed that Allison never tired.
If he were stupid he would have immediately thought that she was a werecreature of some kind, but since he already knew that she was human....ish, he wouldn't make such assumptions.
So he had just made the assumptions that she was simply better trained than him.
After all, her family were hunters and for that job they would atleast need the strength, speed and constitution to face again them.
Which also led him to believe that she had been inducted into the whole hunter business faster than canon.
Talking to her had granted him some answers, even if his questions were subtly made for her to feel safe with him, to make her open up and share more than she should've without getting a straight answer.
But he managed.
His acting skill had increased in mastery a lot after just one meeting with her though, maybe she was just so strong that leading her on made the skill better.
But at the end of the day, he was back home having led Allison back home, but he didn't lead her straight home but just a few houses away until she had walked into her house.
He did not want any hunter interest on his back.
He had just gotten power and didn't want anything to jeopardize his ascension into more of that, he understood though that he had gotten it without his knowledge.
After all why would Allison seem to cling to him so much?
She hadn't even been in the school for a week and yet here she was, trying everything to be closer to him.
So that meant that they knew something about him that he didn't.
As worrying as that might have been he still kept a clear head, he would afterall need it if he was gonna thread the supernatural world and come out of it alive.
Which was why he was in his room right now, levitating a sphere of water, then with sheer will and creativity it immediately deformed and it was shaped into a spear.
This was what he had achieved the night before.
He had managed with sheer will and all his perks to manipulate the water saturated with his magic to form shapes that he desired.
And happily, that had been enough for his Status to show it in his tab.

One thing that he had noted though was that [Aura Control] was a perk whilst [Mana Control] was a skill.
He wanted to understand why but for now he had school and a couple quests he needed to complete.
He also had other plans that would need planning.
He needed to finish his first quest and kill a supernatural creature.
He also needed to find a place where he could research his chimera project.
He also needed to research, experiment and further his magical skills.

[Cooking Magic] had leveled up due to him utilising the spell [Water Boil] as he was experimenting with changing it's shape, splitting the water and shaping it into arrows and then a spear.
He didn't yet know of its destructive capabilities yet as he got low on mana whilst experimenting but he managed to obtain a lot yesterday and he hoped that he could keep that trend going.
All of this would have been slow if not for his boosted affinity for magic given by his [Loved By Nature] and the deductive and analytic capabilities of his [Genius Comprehension].
He wound need to get more perks like them, ones that boosted his affinity for magic and ones that increased his learning capabilities.
Which meant that he needed to complete his current quests.
Or better yet, intergrate himself into Scott's little clique.
Though the latter he wasn't really sure about. He didn't want to follow around Scott like a little puppy scrapping around for missions, that would just be insulting to him and his newfound capabilities.
So of the missions that he currently had.

The first one was the easiest for him to complete now, but not yet.
He wouldn't jump headfirst into the unknown just because he obtained a little power, no, he'd bid his time playing the 'normal' one for a bit longer while garnering power, only then will he feel safe enough to go out into the world which would probably be sooner than he probably expected.
The second quest was already in play, he was taking a slower approach on this one because he knew that finding out more on Allison would probably out him to her family of hunters and that wouldn't end well if he was weak.
Which was why he'd play a slow game with her, chip at her guard and find out why she was so interested in him and only then will he dig deeper.
The last one though was the one he was most passionate about, to finally become a werecreature, but not just any werecreature but a chimera, one of the strongest beings in this world if he played his cards right.
Though it was the one that he hadn't made the most or if any progress in.
But to start on that one he'd need to obtain a base that he could turn into his own lab.
He had enough money to buy property from his programming skills which also featured hacking capabilities, and in this world where technology hadn't yet advanced and digital security was just starting to bloom, he had gotten a lot of cash.
Both legally and illegally.
So he'd need to use a fake identify to buy the property and then buy the right equipment for him to work with, then it would be the tedious grind of researching and experimenting.
