The sound of the chain holding the punching bag creaked with every strike, and the object swung back and forth, repeating the motion in an almost hypnotic manner.

He didn't stop after the first kick; he punched the bag with more force, letting his frustration and energy pour into it. The impact of the blows echoed through the empty room, filling the space with an increasing sense of intensity. Rin showed no signs of fatigue, even as sweat began to trickle down his forehead, blending with the rhythm of his irregular breathing. However, that irregularity lasted only a few seconds before returning to its controlled pace, as if Rin himself had absolute command over his exhaustion.

"Impressive, Rin-chan!" Suryo's voice echoed through the gym, drawing everyone's attention to him. His excitement was written all over his face, and his tone did nothing to help the attention fade quickly.

Rin, visibly annoyed by the interruption, turned his head slightly to avoid looking at his brother. He wiped the sweat from his forehead, ignoring Suryo's excessive enthusiasm.

"Stop yelling, you idiot," Rin muttered, his voice muffled by frustration. His older brother's tone irritated him, but he remained calm, as he always did when he felt out of control.

"Sorry!" Suryo responded immediately, exaggerating his apology, but the effect of his enthusiastic entrance didn't go unnoticed. Rin clicked his tongue in disapproval and, with a tired sigh, stepped away from the punching bag, heading toward the table to drink some water.

Suryo, however, didn't stay quiet for long. He walked toward Rin with long strides, trying once again to get his brother's attention. Rin, however, simply ignored him, taking a sip of water, trying to regain control of his mind and body.

"Hey, wait up!" Suryo shouted, this time with a more serious and determined tone. When Rin finally looked at him, his expression darkened, making the contrast between the two brothers more evident than ever. The height difference between them was striking—Rin was taller, a reflection of his maturity, while Suryo still carried the look of someone who had yet to outgrow his youth.

Rin said nothing. He simply observed his brother, whose face was now more serious, the glint in his eyes suggesting he had something important in mind.

"Let's fight," Suryo said, his voice filled with challenge.

Rin furrowed his brows, stopping his sip of water. He looked at his older brother with a gaze of curiosity but also exhaustion. What did Suryo want to test?

"Why?" Rin asked, his eyes scanning Suryo with a touch of disinterest. He wasn't willing to waste time on something meaningless. Their posture, standing face to face, felt like a silent mental battle— the older brother waiting for something, while Rin, calmer and more calculating, stared at him expressionlessly.

"I want to test my combat skills," Suryo responded, his voice serious, as if the playful tone had vanished. The challenge was set, and Rin could feel the shift in the air.

Rin let out a soft sigh, tension starting to build inside him.

"Ah..."

The two were now in the ring, the atmosphere thick with intensity. Suryo wore a confident and excited smile, as if he already knew the outcome of the fight. Rin, on the other hand, remained silent, stretching with precision, his movements controlled and calculated. He seemed calmer than usual, as if he wasn't in a hurry, as if he wasn't afraid of what was to come.

"Well... Let's begin!" Suryo shouted, excitement overflowing in his voice. Before Rin could react, he activated his Quirk, Alchemist.

[INFORMATION]Name: AlchemistType: EmitterDescription: Allows the user to alter the chemical and biological composition of objects and living beings, enabling a wide range of effects—from transmuting simple materials into complex substances to modifying the internal structure of living organisms.

The transformation began immediately. Rin watched as his brother manipulated one of the ring ropes, turning it into a heavy, menacing iron staff, its surface gleaming under the ring lights. Suryo gripped the staff with a cold expression, as if ready to crush anything in his path.

Rin observed everything with a sharp, impassive gaze, his breathing calm and controlled. "Ah. You only know how to rely on your power?" he whispered, his eyes never leaving Suryo as he took his combat stance, prepared for his brother's next move.

With a battle cry, Suryo charged forward, swinging the iron staff with force, aiming to land a devastating blow on Rin. But Rin, with the agility of a feline, dodged effortlessly, slipping under the staff and moving behind Suryo. With a swift and precise movement, he kicked the base of the staff, causing it to wobble unsteadily, catching his brother off guard.

"You can transmute as many things as you want," Rin began, his voice calm and almost disinterested. "However, without any experience or training, your Quirk is useless." He started running toward Suryo, intent on finishing what he had started.

Suryo, surprised and visibly unsettled by Rin's assertiveness, tried to react, but he had already lost control of the situation.

"What?!" Suryo's confident expression instantly crumbled, his self-assurance collapsing in the face of Rin's superior skill. He tried to block, but Rin was already in the air, leaping toward him with a flawless kick that struck Suryo's face.

The impact was strong enough to make Suryo drop his staff and fall out of the ring, the rope that had been supporting him now stretched and useless, leaving him sprawled on the ground beside the ring. Silence fell over the place as Rin landed smoothly back on the floor.

"That's enough for me." Rin spoke coldly, as if that brief clash had been nothing more than a trivial matter. Without even glancing at his fallen brother, he turned his back and walked away from the ring.

Suryo remained there for a moment, his fists clenched, his anger boiling inside him. His eyes burned with a sinful emotion, something deep and bitter that he couldn't control.

'It's always like this! He always surpasses me.'

The thought hammered in his mind as he slowly got up, frustration written all over his face. He couldn't understand how his brother—always calm and distant—could be so superior, always one step ahead, always stronger.

Jealousy burned inside Suryo, burned in a way that could set the largest forest on the planet ablaze.

...

Rin left the academy with his body still warm from the fight, his muscles comfortably tense, as if the activity had been just another training session in his routine. His destination was the park, the place he always went to meet Toga. In the past few months, that meeting had become a habit, a routine he valued. The thought of seeing her gave him a sense of calm, a pause in his life that was usually filled with conflicts.

Upon arriving at the park, Rin looked around, searching for her. However, he didn't see her anywhere. The timing was right; it was the exact moment of their usual meetings, just as it had been in the past weeks. The gentle wind moved the leaves of the trees, and the sounds of the park continued in their usual rhythm, but something felt off.

He looked again, the sense of unease growing inside him. Maybe she was running a little late, but something made him hesitate—an uncomfortable intuition that warned him of what was about to happen.

That was when, suddenly…

Baam!

The sound of something heavy striking his head was the last thing Rin heard before his vision darkened. The immediate pain made blood trickle down his forehead, and he felt his consciousness slipping away like water between his fingers. The impact was so strong that he barely had time to react, his legs giving out before his body collapsed heavily to the side.

Darkness consumed his mind, but in a second that felt like an eternity, Rin regained consciousness. He opened his eyes, feeling a faint throbbing pain in his head. The environment around him was dim and filthy, and that was when he realized where he was. He found himself in an old, poorly lit warehouse, with peeling walls and the smell of dampness in the air. The place seemed abandoned, with no signs of life—except for the two young men standing in front of him.

"So, you're awake, huh?" The voice was harsh and filled with contempt. Rin looked ahead and saw the two students, both male, with expressions that mixed a sick satisfaction with arrogant confidence. They were approaching Rin, watching him with an air of total control over the situation.

"Why?" Rin questioned, his voice weak and full of suspicion. He was still trying to collect himself, but the pain in his head and the fact that he was tied up left him in a vulnerable position.

The two of them laughed, their laughter echoing unsettlingly through the empty warehouse. "Of course, you'd ask that," one of them said, his mocking tone evident. "Well, the answer is obvious. We hate guys like you."

Rin furrowed his brows, confused.

"Huh?" He didn't understand. What had he done to deserve this? No explanation seemed to make sense at that moment.

The two kept laughing, their faces displaying a mixture of hatred and pleasure in the situation. "You think you're above everyone else, don't you? With your arrogant attitude, your training, and that smug smile like you're the best." The other continued, his words sharp, as if they could tear through the very air around Rin. "But you're not. You never were."

Rin tried, once again, to comprehend what was happening. His thoughts were clouded, but the pain in his head and the imminent danger made it clear that the situation was more serious than he had imagined. What did these two actually want?

The two young men seemed more confident than ever, their faces radiating a sick satisfaction as they watched Rin. The tension in the air grew with every word that left their mouths. What was happening? What did they want? Rin was still trying to process the rapid events that had led to this moment.

"We know your secret." One of them spoke urgently, his tone laden with raw, almost desperate emotion. The revelation was about to be made, and Rin felt his stomach tighten. Secret? What was he hiding? He had never thought of having anything to hide—at least, nothing so... important.

Rin was even more confused now. Secret? What secret? He thought, trying to piece things together as his eyes locked onto the two. They were eager to speak, as if they had been preparing for this moment for a long time. The growing tension between them only amplified the feeling that the worst was yet to come.

"You hid it well," the other young man said, his narrowed eyes filled with a twisted sense of pleasure. "You seemed just like everyone else in today's society, but now we know. And because of that, we're not afraid to face you anymore." Their tone of superiority was palpable, an almost grotesque feeling of satisfaction.

Rin, a mix of nervousness and suspicion, remained silent. He had no answers, but he knew the two wouldn't take long to continue. They liked to talk—they liked hearing their own voices. So he just waited.

"You, Rin Kurose, are Quirkless!" The boy who had spoken before fired, the revelation hitting the air like a punch. The words fell heavily in the suffocating atmosphere, like a hammer striking a nail, leaving a mark that seemed to expand in the air.

Rin didn't know what to think. The word Quirkless made his brain freeze for a moment, and he just stared at the two, stunned. Quirkless? He had never imagined that would be an accusation against him. A faint smile formed on his lips, though his expression was more perplexed than anything else.

He let out a muffled laugh, which quickly turned into something almost hysterical. "Hahahaha!" The sound of his laughter was nearly deafened, yet intense, as if he were laughing at something far greater than what had just been said.

The two young men exchanged glances, completely confused. Why was he laughing? What was so funny about this? They had expected Rin to react with anger or surprise, but instead, he seemed to be enjoying the accusation.

"Quirkless? No, I— Hahaha!" Rin could no longer contain his laughter. The absurdity of the situation was overtaking him, as if he were in some kind of comedic play and he was the only one who understood the joke. He slowly stood up, his posture relaxed, but his eyes gleamed with something else—a strange kind of calmness.

"I'm not Quirkless, not even close," Rin said, his voice growing more controlled, yet still carrying a lingering irony in the air. He paused dramatically, as if preparing the stage for a grand revelation. "It just so happens that I…"

He looked at the two of them with a somewhat malevolent smile before taking a step forward. His body, still restrained by his hands, seemed a bit awkward at first, but his movements quickly became more fluid. He was starting to loosen up.

"I'm merely deprived of my own right to access it." Rin finally spoke, the coldness in his voice becoming evident. His words hung heavy in the air, the reality of what he was saying beginning to sink in. He wasn't powerless—he was merely being prevented from using his power. The smile on his lips widened slightly, the feeling of freedom growing inside him.

As he moved, attempting to break free from his restraints, the two boys still stared at him, stunned. Rin suddenly seemed far more threatening, as if his entire body was preparing to unleash something enormous.

With a sharp motion, he finally managed to free his hands. The pipe that had bound him was now broken, and Rin massaged his wrists, trying to ease the tension. The bracelets he wore were still there, firm and unbreakable, but the sensation of physical freedom was now evident.

"Ah, much better." Rin muttered, relaxing slightly. But then, suddenly, he felt a slight shock in his right wrist—a small electric discharge that made his body jolt slightly.

"Ow!" He flinched a little, bringing his hand to his right wrist. The light on the bracelet flickered briefly, a strange vibration running through his body. 'Weird.'

The two stood frozen, eyes wide, faces pale as they watched Rin slowly walk toward them, stretching his arms as if he were merely yawning. But the tension in the air made it clear that this was far more than just a simple stretch.

Rin's head throbbed. He felt the pain pulsing through his skin, something warm trickling down his forehead.

'My head still hurts... They hit me with something strong, probably metal.' He thought, gritting his teeth as he observed the two in front of him. Seriousness took over his expression.

"What happened to Toga?" Rin asked, his voice as sharp as a blade.

The two exchanged glances for a moment before bursting into laughter. The sound echoed through the abandoned warehouse, cruel and mocking. Rin's eyes widened, his breathing growing heavier.

"She's doing just fine. Our friend is probably taking care of her already."

Rage rose like a wild flame burning in his gut. He slowly lowered his head, his fists clenching so tightly that his knuckles turned white. The air around him grew dense, as if an invisible force was slowly suffocating the space. The bracelet on his wrist started blinking frantically, its light flickering like a warning signal.

"So..." Rin's voice was low, almost a whisper laced with danger. He lifted his head just enough for his left eye to be visible between the messy strands of his hair. The shadows of the warehouse obscured the rest of his face, making it impossible for them to see his full expression. But even without seeing, they could feel it.

They could feel the pure, murderous intent.

"Step aside..." Rin continued, his voice deep and cold as steel. "Unless you want to die."

The warehouse suddenly felt darker. The air was thick, heavy, difficult to breathe. The ground seemed to tremble slightly under Rin's presence.

He rolled up the sleeves of his shirt to his forearms, revealing his arms. His skin was covered in small scratches and cuts from the previous fight, but he completely ignored the pain.

"As if."

"You can try—"

Before he could finish his sentence, Rin grabbed a piece of broken pipe and hurled it with precision.

The boy with the iron arm activated his Quirk instantly. Metal covered his arm with a harsh sound of iron scraping against iron, and he deflected the pipe as if it were nothing more than a toy.

But Rin was no longer where he was supposed to be.

They realized it too late.

A shiver ran down the second boy's spine. His body reacted before his mind could even process what was happening. He instinctively turned around, sensing danger, feeling something sharp coming his way—

"AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!"

The scream tore through the silence of the warehouse.

Rin was behind him.

The tip of a pen was lodged in his right eye.

The boy collapsed to his knees, clutching his face with both hands as blood seeped through his fingers, dripping onto the concrete floor.

"Tsukishima!" The other boy, the one with the iron arm, rushed to help his friend while Rin took a few steps back, spinning the pen between his fingers and calmly wiping it on his sleeve.

He observed the two, assessing them the way predators do with their prey.

'One can cover his arm with metal, and the other sensed me even with his back turned to me...' Rin analyzed, his gaze cold and meticulous. 'So that's how they work...'

He raised the pen again, scratching his head with it as if all of this were just a minor inconvenience.

"Tsukishima and Kingo," Rin murmured, as if recalling an old fact. "The golden duo of Nakaho Junior..."

The two, still shocked and enraged, glared at him with eyes full of hatred. Tsukishima was trying to stop the bleeding from his eye with trembling hands, while Kingo clenched his fists, his metallic arm gleaming under the warehouse's dim light.

"...Until they lost to the rookie. They were called the Iron Body and the Sense of the Future," Rin added, a crooked smile forming on his lips.

He spun the pen between his fingers once more.

"I hope you've improved since then."

The warehouse remained silent for a few seconds.

Kingo growled in anger as he regained his composure, feeling the pressure on his neck slowly subside. Rin's strike had been effective, but not enough to knock him out. He was strong and resilient, and his metal arm was now covered in a threatening glow, ready to crush anyone in his way. Tsukishima, on the other hand, was focused, his single eye shining with the determination not to let Rin escape.

"Kingo... He's stronger than back then... we can't attack normally, but he's still dazed and hurt, aim for the head," Tsukishima whispered calmly, his eyes carefully watching Rin. He knew that while Rin had the advantage of speed and agility, he was still not immune to the power of his Quirk.

Kingo nodded, his expression fierce as his other arm was covered in metal, turning it into a true weapon. He prepared to attack, but Rin was too fast for them. He knew a direct exchange of blows wouldn't be advantageous for him, especially with Tsukishima's ability to predict the dangers.

Rin, with his pen in hand, watched the two carefully. The calculating look on his face revealed he was one step ahead. "I wanted to eliminate the other first, but that's not going to work... Tsukishima can feel all kinds of dangers around him..."

He then quickly analyzed the situation. "The pen won't work against Kingo, but maybe I can distract them with a quick strike. The distraction will create the opening."

Suddenly, Tsukishima felt a chill down his spine. His Quirk, Extra-Sensory Sensor, made him aware of the imminent threat. But at the same moment, Rin threw the pen, flying at high speed toward his face. Tsukishima tried to react, but Kingo, with quick reflexes, raised his metal arm, using it as a barrier. The sound of metal clashing with the object was muffled by the tension of the moment.

"That'll serve as a distraction!"

Without hesitation, Rin rushed toward Kingo, quickly attacking a pressure point on the man's neck, causing him to choke on the air trapped in his lungs. Kingo tried to breathe, gasping for air, but his body was temporarily immobilized by the pain and pressure.

"Ugh! Ugh!" Kingo tried to pull in air, but the suffocating feeling made him lose control for a moment, allowing Rin to gain more ground.

Rin then lunged toward Tsukishima, his gaze sharp. "His Quirk is Extra-Sensory Sensor... he can feel all kinds of dangers around him and send signals to the nervous system, making him automatically dodge. Physical attacks won't work!" Rin thought quickly, already planning his next move.

Instead of attacking directly, Rin surprised Tsukishima by using his opponent's body as support. He leaped over Tsukishima, unbalancing him and causing him to lose his position, while grabbing the pen that was a bit farther away, beside Kingo. Rin's accuracy was impressive, and he knew that if he could hit Tsukishima from a blind spot, his Quirk would take longer to process the threat and perform the defensive action.

'From a blind spot, the Quirk takes more than 10 seconds to create a signal and perform an automatic reflex... it's now or never,' Rin thought quickly, launching the pen at a strategic angle. Tsukishima was starting to turn around, unaware of the threat coming from his blind spot.

The pen flew through the air as Kingo screamed furiously. "Take this, you bastard!" He rushed forward, punching Rin with force, but Kingo's movement didn't stop the pen from being thrown with precision. The pen approached Tsukishima, who was now trying to react. He sensed the danger but was too late to dodge.

The impact was inevitable. The pen struck Tsukishima's blind spot, and his automatic reflex was unable to stop it in time. The situation was becoming more dangerous for them with every passing second.

Rin, breathing heavily, smiled with a grim lightness.

"Tsukishima!" Kingo shouted, his voice filled with panic and fury as he saw his friend fall heavily to the ground. Rin's pen was embedded in his back, the pain spreading like fire through his body, invading his mind and causing his muscles to convulse involuntarily. "Damn it!" Kingo growled, his eyes burning with rage, his mind completely consumed by the need for revenge.

With fierce speed, Kingo activated his Quirk, covering his arms with solid, heavy metal. Rin's muscles tensed as he tried to react, but the impact of the punches was immense. The first ten blows struck his body with brutal force, burying him into the ground mercilessly, causing the earth to crack and burst around him.

The next ten blows were even more intense, and Rin felt his strength fading with each impact. His arms began to go numb, his muscles swelling, and a wave of heat and pain spread through his limbs. The skin on his arms turned red, a clear sign that he was approaching his limits.

'Damn, I need an escape!' Rin thought, feeling the pressure of every punch hitting him, but his mind remained cold and calculating. He knew he couldn't afford to give in now. His eyes fixed on Kingo's legs. 'Wait… he didn't reinforce his legs. If he tries to do that, the weight will be a problem.' Rin's perception was instantaneous, and he knew this was his chance.

With a brutal effort, Rin spun on the ground, managing to dodge a few more blows. One punch hit his ribcage with force, making him grunt in pain, while another strike passed just inches from his shoulder. But Rin didn't stop. He used the pain as fuel, kicking Kingo's legs with all the strength he had left, causing the man to lose his balance.

"Ah... Damn, I think I broke one, maybe two," Rin muttered to himself, touching the impact area on his ribcage. The pain was almost unbearable, but he had to focus. He looked at his arms, now completely red from the repeated impacts. "It hurts so much..." He gritted his teeth, trying to ignore the fire burning in his flesh.

Suddenly, a strange sound cut through the air.

Ding!

Tzk!

Rin looked down, watching the bracelets on his wrists flashing frantically. The electric current ran through them, and soon they began to deactivate, shutting down with a metallic hum. Something inside Rin sparked, a strange feeling of relief and power. He smiled almost wildly, a smile that said more about his inner fury than anything else.

Tssz!

On the ground, Tsukishima, still fallen and with blurred vision, felt his senses go haywire. No, he felt something much stronger, something that seemed to scream at him, warning him that the situation was completely out of control. Everything seemed to change in an instant, and he knew he couldn't stay there anymore. Fear ran through his body, a sense of helplessness taking over him entirely.

Rin's aura began to change. Black lightning with red edges flowed through his body, like an unstable and furious energy field. Gradually, this energy concentrated around his body, creating a fluid and dense aura, a mix of black and red swirling like a storm about to explode. His eyes glowed with an intense red hue, reflecting the change happening inside him.

'Ah… What is this feeling?' Rin thought, his senses sharpening in a way he had never experienced before. He felt the power growing inside him, spreading through every cell of his body.

'Why does it feel so good?' He could no longer control the pleasure he felt as he sensed the surge of power, as if he were finally touching something infinitely vast and beautiful.

'Ah, yes. This is power!'

Kingo watched, stunned, his hand trembling slightly as the energy around Rin seemed to consume everything around him. He looked at the place where Rin was, but all he saw was an explosion of colors, a distortion of space as the pressure from the aura increased.

'Why am I trembling?' Kingo wondered, unable to understand what was happening.

Before he could react, something touched his chest. It was such a quick, sudden movement that he didn't have time to process it. And suddenly, an explosion of energy, in red and black, destroyed everything around them. The warehouse they were in was ripped from the ground, the walls colliding with a deafening crash, while the floor cracked, and chunks of wood, metal, and concrete flew through the air.

Boom!

The explosion was so intense that it felt as if the very space around them had been compressed and released all at once.
