Chapter 119 - THE FALL OF CHAOS

Chapter 119: The Fall of Chaos

The sky above Krevos split open.

A pillar of golden mana surged downward, striking the battlefield with such force that the earth cracked beneath its presence.

Varian Drakos Eldoria, the Headmaster of Eldoria Academy, had arrived.

The once-chaotic battlefield stilled.

Even Chaos and Order hesitated as the golden radiance spread, casting long shadows across the corpses and rubble.

Kael, breathing heavily, felt the weight of mana press down on him—not oppressive, not suffocating, but immense.

Lucian narrowed his eyes. "So he finally decided to show up."

Selene pushed back against an elite Xelthar knight, panting. "If he had come earlier, we wouldn't have needed to nearly die holding the line."

Cassian smirked, despite the exhaustion on his face. "Where's the fun in that?"

Rael scoffed. "You're insane if you think this was fun."

Life exhaled, golden energy flickering around her hands. "Good. He's here."

Death simply watched, his bright red eyes unreadable.

And Chaos?

Chaos grinned.

Varian's golden cloak billowed as he raised his hand. His sigil-covered gauntlets glowed, ancient Eldorian runes shifting across the fabric of space itself.

Then, he spoke.

"Begone."

A single word.

And in an instant—Xelthar's remaining forces were obliterated.

Not by fire. Not by lightning.

But by pure, unshakable authority.

The air rippled as reality itself bent to his command.

Hundreds of Xelthar's knights—those who still fought despite their inevitable loss—vanished, erased in golden light.

Their bodies simply ceased to exist.

The Vanguard watched in stunned silence.

Even Mira, who had seen the full power of nobles and monsters alike, shuddered.

"...What the hell?" Darius muttered.

"That," Lucian said, his voice low, "is the power of a man who could stand against gods."

Chaos laughed.

"A mortal with the power to dictate existence itself? How… interesting."

Order, standing beside him, did not laugh. She trembled.

Varian turned his gaze to them, golden eyes burning like miniature suns.

"You have no place here," the Headmaster said, his voice even. "Leave."

Chaos smirked. "Make us."

Varian did not move.

He did not need to.

Because Life and Death moved first.

Golden and crimson energy crashed together, forming a barrier between the mortals and the divine beings.

"You're outnumbered, Chaos," Life murmured, her expression sharp.

Death's eyes gleamed. "And your corruption will not spread here."

For the first time, Order hesitated.

Her gaze flickered to Chaos.

"I…" she whispered.

Chaos' smile faded slightly. "What is it, my dear sister?"

Order's fingers curled into fists.

"This isn't… right."

Chaos' amusement returned, but this time, it was laced with something deeper.

"Ah," he murmured. "You're beginning to remember."

Order shuddered.

And then—

She turned on him.

The battlefield shook as a new power surged.

Not from Chaos.

Not from Life or Death.

But from Order herself.

Her once-corrupted form flickered, the taint of Chaos straining against her very being.

"I…" She clutched her head, as if forcing herself to remember something buried deep. "I was never meant for this."

Chaos' expression darkened. "What are you doing?"

Order's breathing was ragged, but her voice hardened.

"Choosing a different path."

And then—she attacked.

Golden chains exploded from her hands, wrapping around Chaos' arms, legs, and throat. The corrupted god snarled, struggling, but Order's chains held.

Life and Death moved as one.

Death struck first, his crimson energy severing Chaos' right arm, reducing it to dust.

Chaos roared.

Life followed, her golden radiance burning through his core, shattering the darkness that sustained him.

"NO!" Chaos thrashed violently. His power lashed out, a desperate attempt to break free—

But Order's chains tightened.

"You took my mind," she whispered, her red eyes burning. "But you will take nothing else."

Chaos' expression twisted. "You would kill me? Your own brother?"

Order's voice was like steel.

"You stopped being my brother long ago."

With one final motion, she pulled.

The chains constricted.

And Chaos—the being that had once corrupted an entire world—was torn apart.

His body disintegrated, his power scattered into nothingness.

It was over.

Chaos was dead.

With the gods gone, only Xelthar's most elite remained.

Lucian stepped forward, cracking his knuckles. "Let's finish this."

Kael nodded, gripping his sword. "Vanguard—move out."

Evelyne, bleeding but still grinning, raised her greatsword. "Let's crush these bastards."

Selene's silver eyes flashed. "No survivors."

Darius, sparks flickering around his fingertips, exhaled. "I'm tired of fighting. Let's just kill them already."

Cassian, twirling his rapier, smirked. "Finally, something we agree on."

Mira charged forward first, her sword cleaving through the first Xelthar knight before he could even react.

The final battle began.

And this time—there was no mercy.

The last remnants of Xelthar's forces fell one by one.

Their commanders, their most elite warriors—all slaughtered beneath the unrelenting force of Eldoria's strongest warriors.

And when the final Xelthar general collapsed, his throat cut by Kael's blade—

It was over.

A heavy silence descended upon the battlefield.

Kael, breathing hard, raised his sword high.

And the Vanguard, exhausted but victorious, roared as one.

The war was over.

Xelthar had fallen.

Eldoria had won.

But deep in the abyss—

Something stirred.

For Chaos may have been destroyed—

But his remnants still existed.

And the world would never be the same.
