Chapter 32: Shinobi Tactics- Taijutsu
(Other side of the battle field)
Shikomu's Jutsu didn't hit anyone, since every single person was able to dodge.
My Jutsu didn't hit anyone, since most people were able to dodge it fairly quickly.
I looked around at the devastation, since Naruto was able to hit a ton of people…wow, the amount of Chakra this man had was just insane.
Each Rasengan he used made a massive crater in the battlefield.
The Uzamaki bloodline really is overpowered huh. Well, I was a Senju, I am supposed to be overpowered. It's just that the game limits my growth.
Well, when I had access to higher amounts of Chakra, I would also be able to spam A rank Jutsu.
For now, I had to be more conservative.
Even if my Jutsu repertoire was pretty large, probably one of the largest for players, I need to think about where to use my Jutsu.
Hundreds of clones began to make contact with their Rasengan, taking out plenty of Shinobi from the battle immediately.
"Boss, help me move my friends away." Naruto asked, to which Gamabunta used his tongue to safely move an unwilling yet docile Sasuke and Sakura away from the massive battle.
Gamabunta then turned to see Kakashi keeping up with B who had yet to activate his tailed beast transformation state.
Still, it was impressive to watch the Copy Ninja at work…keeping up with a Jinchuriki was no joke. Especially one as trained as B.
Now that was a Kage level match up.
"Naruto, remember what Jiraiya was trying to teach you before we came to the battlefield?" Gamabunta asked the original Naruto, as he looked down at the battlefield.
"You mean that Jutsu?" Naruto asked.
This almost made me fall face flat into the ground. What the hell did I just hear?
Naruto already mentioned how Kakashi had taught him a Wind Release Jutsu, albeit a C rank one…and now Jiraiya was also teaching Naruto Jutsu?
Did they decide he needed to have more versatility or something?
It was such a main character thing, to go on 1 training session and to come back with 2 Jutsu that were completely broken in their own right.
But now he had more?
Well, I don't know why I am acting as if it's such a big deal…I learnt around 10 Jutsu, high ranking ones at that, in 2 weeks.
But I was a player! Learning Jutsu was ridiculously easy for us!
"Yes, let's use it against that batch there." Gamabunta said as he drew his massive blade and pointed in the direction of some Ninja.
"Um…I don't remember the hand signs." Naruto said honestly to which the giant toad began to swear at him.
Sounds like Naruto alright.
"Then I will take care of it." Gamabunta said in a calm tone, as he disappeared from where he was standing, and reappeared right behind all the enemies.
He had a calm look on his face, as if nothing had just happened.
A massive gust of wind hit all the shinobi, before all of a sudden, their bodies were cut perfectly in 2.
Gamabunta calmly resheathed his sword, however a voice broke his moment.
"Boss, that was so cool!" Naruto shouted excitedly as he began to pat Gamabunta's head.
I couldn't help but be surprised. I wasn't able to follow Gamabunta's movements, every shinobi he had slashed dropped, and there were tens of them.
Well, I guess it's my time to shine.
Right as I looked towards the enemies, one of them began weaving hand signs.
Instantly, a Water Rope formed in my hand, snapping forward before he could finish.
Since I had complete mastery over this Jutsu, I didn't need hand signs—I was faster.
I yanked the ninja toward me and slit his throat.
The kunai slid cleanly through flesh, parting skin like a whisper.
I turned to my side and saw a massive surge of lightning chakra crackling in my opponent's palms.
Instantly, I activated [Earth Style – Adamant Pillar Formation].
Earth countered lightning, obviously. But my mastery over this Jutsu was lacking—I barely finished it in time.
A sturdy wall of stone erupted before me, absorbing the full brunt of the lightning strike.
Just as I steadied myself, a kunai with an explosive tag hurtled toward me.
Without hesitation, I sank into the ground using [Earth Style – Subterranean Evasion].
"He's in the ground!" one of the shinobi shouted, and immediately, the entire squad became wary of the earth beneath them.
"There!" another yelled as my Earth Clone emerged.
One of them lunged forward, aiming a kunai straight for my jugular—but before it could land, my clone erupted in a violent explosion.
Obviously I had filled my clone with tens of Exploding tags.
You would be surprised how much of a discount the village sold those tags at during war time.
A fiery shockwave blasted through the battlefield, sending bodies flying. The force shattered armor, tore through flesh, and hurled ten shinobi in all directions, their screams drowned out by the deafening blast.
I emerged from the earth while everyone was still reeling from the explosion.
Without wasting a second, I activated [Water Style – Tidal Guillotine].
Five massive crescent-shaped water blades materialized around me, each glistening under the moonlight. In an instant, they slashed through the battlefield, cutting through flesh and armor alike. Dozens of shinobi collapsed where they stood, their bodies split apart in clean, merciless arcs.
While I loved utilizing my impressive arsenal of Jutsu, I realised one problem very quickly.
My Chakra amount was falling at a rapid rate. I mean, it made sense. I only had Chunin rank reserve, and I was spamming Jutsu left and right.
I realised quickly what I needed to do, save more Chakra.
After all, this fight wouldn't end instantly. And, there were still 2 Jinchuriki.
I knew Kakashi and Naido sensei could probably hold themselves, but I knew I needed enough strength to run if something had happened.
Back to basics, I guess.
As that thought crossed my mind, I steadied my body slightly, as I deeply breathed in the air.
It smelt like Iron, for obvious reasons. Wow, this game was oddly realistic.
"Get him, he is finally out of Chakra!" A kunoichi shouted, as 10 people began to rush me.

My aura didn't suddenly change, but I felt complete control over my body, as if everything inside me was working at 120% efficiency.
My brain processed things faster. My movements became sharper.
And right as the fastest shinobi from the enemy's side lunged at me, I reacted instinctively.
Strong Fist. The technique Might Guy had drilled into me.
The fundamentals were simple.
To be strong.
To be unyielding.
To be unbending.
To be undefeated against even stronger opponents than myself.
This was Might Guy's Taijutsu. This was the Taijutsu I had chosen to wield.
I took a step forward, and the earth quaked beneath me. My fist met my opponent's jaw in a vicious uppercut, sending him airborne.
Before he could even register what had happened, I rotated my body and slammed a roundhouse kick into his chest, shattering his ribs and sending him flying.
I used his body as propulsion, leaping toward my next opponent.
This one swung a kunai straight for my face.
I caught his wrist mid-slash, twisted it violently, and used his own momentum to send him crashing into the ground.
A single, well-placed punch to the jaw ensured he wouldn't be getting up anytime soon.
My footwork remained impeccable as I weaved through the battlefield, cutting down one enemy after another.
Jutsu flew toward me from every angle, but I didn't give them the chance to form seals. I grabbed their fingers mid-weave.
Threw kunai at their faces before they could gather chakra. Stopped their feet from moving before they could reposition.
Within a ten-meter sphere, I was indomitable.
Then—
"MOVE!"
A loud voice rang out, and the enemy forces immediately scattered.
The ground beneath me trembled before a massive dome of earth erupted around me, sealing me inside.
"Finally." Someone outside breathed in relief, thinking they had trapped me.
But before they could celebrate—
"RASENGAN!"
Naruto's voice ripped through the air, and the dome around me shattered as quickly as it had been built.
Dust and debris cleared, revealing a single Naruto clone standing back-to-back with me.
No words needed to be spoken.
For the first time since opening the 8 Gates, my fist met resistance.
Clearly, this time my opponent wasn't as weak as I had hoped for him to be.
Every strike I threw, he blocked. Every opening I sought, he shut down.
I narrowed my eyes.
A grin couldn't help but form on my face…damn, this game was definitely fun!
A green aura burst to life around me as my veins bulge and muscles tightened.
[Eight Gates – Third Gate of Life: OPEN]
I exhaled, steam rolling from my mouth as my speed skyrocketed.
The first punch I threw broke straight through his guard, shattering his arm on impact. His scream barely left his throat before he collapsed.
More shinobi turned toward me. Too many had fallen in too little time. I was drawing attention, not that I was particularly complaining.
More EXP for me!
Eventually though, I had to stop.
It seems like I ran a rampage for long enough, since an enemy much stronger than me stood in front of me right now.
I didn't really want to use this so soon…after all, there were probably much stronger people for me to fight soon after this.
But I didn't really have much of a choice right now.
[Eight Gates – Fourth Gate of Pain: OPEN]
It was my first time using the fourth gate inside of a real battle.
During the entire war, I had fought plenty of Jonin, but none of them required me to use this Gate, which clearly meant my opponent surpassed that.
Naruto was with me as well, which made this good…I might be able to finish my system quest now.
Naruto's eyes glowed with a dangerous red hue. His pupils thinned into slits. His whisker marks darkened, his chakra rolling off him in violent waves.
Clearly, he was instinctively tapping into Kuramas chakra…or maybe the fox decided to make use of this hectic battle.
Above us, Gamabunta rampaged across the battlefield.
But Naruto and I had our own task.
Together, we would bring down one of the leaders of this Hidden Cloud force.
An Elite Jonin.
Should be easy enough…right?
