Madam Harvey paused, realizing she hadn't revealed her identity to them. She turned around. In that glance, she saw a middle-aged woman, moving with the grace of a celebrity, entering from the door. This woman appeared to be in her forties, dressed in a vibrant pink dress, radiant and triumphant.
It was her! The woman who stole her husband, the cause of her miscarriage, and the reason she could never bear children again, Rosalie Macchio! Since Rosalie joined the Harvey family, her life had improved significantly. She was surrounded by a group of high-society ladies, women Madam Harvey had never encountered before.
Now, the quality of her attire and accessories did not fall short of Madam Harvey's. In fact, there seemed to be a subtle implication that she had surpassed her. Madam Harvey's once joyful expression quickly faded to a slight frown.
