Chapter 120 - Now They Have a Future

Every time she activated the Molten Knight, Firefly felt warmth radiating from her chest—like Anming's embrace.

Synchronization Rate: 1000%!

No ramp-up needed. With Anming beside her, Firefly could instantly reach infinite synchronization. Golden meteors unfurled cyan wings across Jarilo-VI's sky, outshining even the auroras. The Milky Way stretched between those wings, breathtakingly sublime.

"I'll… ignite the starry sea!" Firefly repeated Anming's old chuuni line, eyes moist before flames vaporized her tears. She'd promised not to cry in front of him again.

The Stellaron's dying scream warped into a black hole of crystallized energy—a final gambit to birth a "new world."

"You're nowhere close to the King Worm," Anming sneered.

Bloodburn, Stage Two!

His veins ignited, supercharging SAM's systems. Anming's mastery pushed the armor beyond its limits.

Insight, Stage One!

The Stellaron's core lay bare in his vision. He shut the ability off instantly—no need to burn memories today. Life was fuel, and his golden blood could handle this.

"SAM—Draw Sword!"

A crimson greatsword materialized. Anming relayed the Stellaron's weak point to Firefly. Twin meteors arced across the sky—cyan blades and flaming steel pierced the singularity's heart.

"Anming—!" Firefly grabbed SAM's arm, hurling him toward the collapsing core. The armor disintegrated mid-flight, leaving Anming free-falling with Wuye raised.

"Cleave."

The world answered. Centuries of Belobog's Preservation condensed into his strike. He swung for every Guardian who'd died fueling this hope.

Wuye shattered the Stellaron. Shards cascaded like shooting stars, dissolving into the aurora-streaked sky. Anming fell like a meteor—until cyan light caught him.

"This time… I caught you."

Firefly's Molten Knight cradled him midair, the aurora framing them. Anming traced her visor, meeting her gaze beneath. No words needed.

Ground Level

"Flame Lance… Charge?" Stelle blinked at the lone Fragmentum grunt surviving the apocalypse. "Eh, good enough!"

She skewered the creature. Combat high!

March facepalmed. "All that buildup… wasted."

"Multi-path supremacy!" Stelle grinned. "Next time, I'll bag The Hunt!"

Dan Heng studied the sky. Destroying a Stellaron… unprecedented.

Sunlight pierced the clouds for the first time in 700 years. Cocolia wept, tears melting snow. Belobog—no, Jarilo-VI—had a future.

"Three days…" March sighed. "We'll be legend. 'Jarilo Speedrun Champions'~"

As Wildfire faded, the Stellaron's final thought echoed: [Mentorship Requested]—before choking on dogfood.
