Chapter 118 - Wildfire

For Belobog's future, Anming had devised a solution—but its execution required one final step.

Bronya needed to witness the truth with eyes unclouded by privilege. To let her compassionate heart confront the reality her sheltered life had never seen.

Cocolia had been right: Bronya would become the true Supreme Guardian, unshackled from the Stellaron's burden.

Now, Bronya stood beneath a flickering streetlamp, its amber glow illuminating her face as she gazed at the Underworld's unseen struggles.

From the shadows, Seele stepped forward, scythe in hand. Disdain dripped from her voice. "What's a Silvermane Guard doing here?"

"I…" Bronya met the violet-haired girl's icy glare. "I'm Bronya. I just wanted to see this place."

"Bronya…?" Seele cursed internally. That convoluted name from earlier… "Fine, Miss Silvermane. You're my hostage now."

Bronya smiled softly. "Alright."

"You're… weird." Seele looked away, baffled.

"Go?"

"Go!"

Anming and Stelle finalized their plan outside: annihilate the Stellaron with maximum efficiency. Anming as the spearhead, Stelle as hype-woman.

"Master, what about me?" Qingque pouted.

"You'd be overkill." Anming patted her shoulder. "Protect March and the others. Leave the rest to me."

"You're the overkill here!" Qingque muttered, then grinned. "Or maybe March'll be Wife No. 3…"

She darted off before Anming could kick her. "Master, when you return, you'll face Lady Fu's wrath~!"

Qingque's eyes sparkled with chaotic glee. Let the harem wars begin! She'd long accepted that both Firefly and Fu Xuan were irreplaceable. But watching them duel? Priceless.

As Anming and Firefly walked hand-in-hand, Stelle trudged behind with her speaker, grumbling, "Couples deserve divine retribution…"

Cocolia stared up at the Stellaron's pulsating core. She'd come to sever seven centuries of lies—to reclaim Belobog's fate from its frozen grip.

"Cocolia… You have no choice!" The Stellaron's voice clawed at her mind.

She gripped her spear. "This ends… now!"

As Cocolia lunged, an off-key anthem blared:

"Rip—

Through heartache's chains~!"

The Stellaron and Cocolia froze.

Stelle fumbled with her speaker. "Wrong track, my bad." She skipped to the next song—

Wildfire erupted.
