Chapter 18 - Scarlet Revenge

In The Scarlet Demon Mansions, as all that was happening, another Nightmare Animatronics was getting too close to the Mansion as a right was Nightmare Foxy, as then it heard a wishlist.

Remilia was looking at the Nightmare. "A new Yokai?... To bad I am not Reimu, this is your first and last day in Gensokyo".

Nightmare Foxy let out a low growl, its glowing red eyes locking onto Remilia. The eerie creaking of its joints echoed through the mansion's courtyard as it took a step forward, claws scraping against the stone path.

Remilia smirked, her crimson eyes glowing with amusement. "Oh? You're not even going to introduce yourself before attacking? How rude." She spread her bat-like wings, cracking her knuckles. "Fine, I'll play with you for a bit."

Before Nightmare Foxy could lunge, a red blur shot past it—Sakuya. The elegant maid stood beside her mistress, knives at the ready. "Milady, do you wish for me to dispose of this... thing?"

Remilia chuckled. "No need, Sakuya. This one seems... interesting." She stepped forward, extending a hand. Dark red mist swirled around her palm. "Let's see if you can handle a real nightmare."

Nightmare Foxy roared and charged.

With a single flap of her wings, Remilia was gone, reappearing above Foxy with a wicked grin. "Too slow~!" She fired a barrage of crimson danmaku straight at the animatronic's head. The bullets struck true, causing Foxy to stagger back.

Sakuya took this chance, stopping time for a brief second. In that frozen moment, dozens of knives materialized in the air, all aimed at Foxy. As time resumed, they rained down like a deadly storm.

Foxy let out a distorted snarl, sparks flying as the blades dug into its metal frame. But it wasn't done yet. With surprising speed, it spun around, its massive hook swinging toward Sakuya.

A loud clang! echoed as the blade met another force—Meiling. The gatekeeper stood firm, blocking the attack with her reinforced gauntlets. "Tch, tough guy, huh?" She grinned, before delivering a powerful kick to Foxy's chest, sending it crashing through the courtyard wall.

Remilia clapped her hands together. "Oh, how delightful! This might actually be fun~!"

Foxy slowly rose, its glowing eyes burning with rage. The mansion had become a battlefield.

And the Scarlet Devil was just getting started.

Remilia looked at Nightmare Foxy as she spoke. "So, what is your name? I would like to know that".

Nightmare Foxy looked as it spoke in a growl. "Foxy"

At that moment both Remilia and Sakuya's bloodlust went out, as Remilia looked at Foxy.

Nightmare Foxy's metallic body creaked and groaned as it tried to stand up, its eyes flickering ominously. The atmosphere shifted as Remilia's bloodlust enveloped the entire courtyard. Sakuya's eyes narrowed, her expression cold as she stood beside her mistress, knives still floating in the air, ready for whatever came next.

Remilia's voice was calm but deadly. "So you're the one who torments him, huh?" Her lips curled into a sinister smile, her eyes glowing with a malicious crimson hue. "What a shame. I was going to let you go, but now... you'll be the one to suffer."

Nightmare Foxy's growl became more distorted, like a horrid screech emanating from deep within its mechanical body. It lunged forward, attempting to strike Remilia with its hook, but she was already gone, her movement so fast it was as though she had never been there.

Sakuya stepped in, her time-stop technique flaring to life. She froze the world around them, then with a flash of her blades, she sliced through the air. The knives pierced through the animatronic's metal frame, embedding themselves deep into its body. When time resumed, Nightmare Foxy let out a horrific screech, but it was too late. The damage had already been done.

"Pathetic," Remilia sneered, watching the animatronic struggle to recover. "You think you can just waltz in here and torment someone I care about?"

Nightmare Foxy attempted to strike back, its claws and hook moving in a chaotic frenzy, but Sakuya was quicker. She summoned a barrage of silver knives, launching them at breakneck speed. Each blade found its mark, embedding themselves in Foxy's joints and vital areas, slowing its movements down.

"I'm done toying with you," Remilia said, her voice dripping with malice as she held out her hand. The mist around her swirled violently, turning a deep crimson as she began to conjure a devastating spell. "You should've stayed in the shadows, Foxy. Now, you'll face the wrath of the Scarlet Devil."

Foxy let out a guttural screech and lunged forward, but Remilia was already in the air, her wings spreading wide. She thrust her hand toward the animatronic, releasing a violent torrent of blood-red danmaku. The bullets rained down upon Foxy, each one striking with pinpoint precision. Sparks flew, metal twisted, and pieces of the animatronic shattered into fragments, the once-menacing creature finally succumbing to the relentless barrage.

Sakuya moved in, her knives poised to strike. With a flick of her wrist, she finished the job, delivering a fatal blow to the core of Nightmare Foxy, severing its power source.

As the animatronic crumpled to the ground, its body now a broken heap of twisted metal, Remilia floated down beside it, her eyes gleaming with satisfaction.

"You were nothing but a shadow of the past," Remilia whispered. "And now, you'll never torment him again."

Sakuya nodded, stepping back and watching her mistress. "That's one nightmare taken care of."

The courtyard was quiet now, save for the faint sound of the wind rustling the leaves. Remilia looked at the wreckage, a satisfied smile on her lips.

"Let that be a lesson to anyone else who dares to cross me," she said, her voice dripping with authority. "No one hurts my family and gets away with it."

The silence stretched for a moment before Remilia turned away, heading back into the mansion, her wings fluttering gently behind her. Sakuya followed, her expression calm, though there was a glint of approval in her eyes.

As the mansion doors closed behind them, the darkness outside seemed to shudder, as if even the night itself had been reminded of the power of the Scarlet Devil.

Sakuya looked at Remilia as she spoke. "Do you want me too tell Chris about this Milady".

Remilia chuckled as she spoke. "No need, let's keep this between us, especially sens I have date with my beloved Chris~ Tomorrow".

Remilia's eyes twinkled with amusement as she nudged Sakuya again, a mischievous grin crossing her face. "Oh, is that so? My, my, how subtle you are, Sakuya. I must say, I'm impressed. But that's exactly why he's so charming, isn't it? He doesn't just give us dates—he makes us feel... special in our own ways."

Sakuya, though she usually kept her composure, felt her face warm at Remilia's teasing. "I simply enjoy his company, Milady. As I'm sure you do as well," she replied, trying to keep her voice steady, though a slight blush still colored her cheeks.

Remilia chuckled, leaning in closer as she placed a hand on Sakuya's shoulder. "I know you do, Sakuya. I can see how you care for him. And honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. He brings something unique to all of us, doesn't he? A rare sincerity that's hard to find elsewhere."

Sakuya nodded, her expression softening as she looked down for a moment. "He has a way of making you feel at ease. Even after everything… it's as if he's someone who truly understands." She paused, her gaze thoughtful. "It's more than just attraction or affection. There's a bond, a connection that feels like it's always been there."

Remilia smiled warmly, her eyes shimmering with fondness. "Exactly, Sakuya. He doesn't just fill the role of a lover—he's someone who truly sees us. And that's what makes him different."

For a moment, the two of them stood there in silence, the weight of their words settling between them. Remilia, always playful and teasing, had shown a rare sincerity, while Sakuya's usually reserved nature softened in the light of their shared understanding.

"Well, I'm glad we agree, Sakuya," Remilia said, her tone lightening once more. "It's rare to find someone who can balance all of us as effortlessly as he does. But I suppose that's part of the charm, isn't it? No matter how many of us there are, he never makes us feel second to anyone else."

Sakuya gave a quiet, appreciative nod. "Indeed, Milady. I've never met anyone quite like him."

Remilia patted her on the back. "Well then, let's just make sure we enjoy the time we have with him. But remember, I have the first date tomorrow, so I'll be the one to steal the spotlight, alright?" Her voice was teasing again, but there was a soft note of affection in it.

Sakuya smiled, her blush now a faint memory. "Of course, Milady. I'll leave tomorrow to you. But you know I'm looking forward to my own time with him, whenever that may be."

Remilia then nugged Sakuya. "Oh don't worry, you are also in his harem, she loves of us equally, you will get your date with him soon".

Sakuya spoke with a bit of blush. "It wouldn't be my first date with him Milady".

Remilia's eyes twinkled with amusement as she nudged Sakuya again, a mischievous grin crossing her face. "Oh, is that so? My, my, how subtle you are, Sakuya. I must say, I'm impressed. Sakuya smiled, her blush now a faint memory. "Of course, Milady. I'll leave tomorrow to you. But you know I'm looking forward to my own time with him, whenever that may be."

With a final chuckle, Remilia turned to leave, her wings unfurling gracefully as she flew toward her chambers. "Don't worry, Sakuya. Your time will come soon enough. Just remember, when you're with him, make sure you show him how much you appreciate him. After all, we all deserve that."

Sakuya watched her go, a small smile lingering on her lips. "I will, Milady. And I'm sure he'll appreciate it."

As the mansion returned to its quiet tranquility, Sakuya took a moment to reflect. She wasn't one to openly show her feelings, but with Chris, there was something different. Something that made her believe, maybe just a little bit, that the future held something even more precious for them all.

Meanwhile in the Underworld, as Gap open In the Underworld in that of Sin, as the Nightmare that was dropped was Nightmare Bonnie, as this was the one Yukari sent to sein, because they didn't want too deal with.

It looked around, then got blastee to oblivion, as it's soul was consumed.

Okuu landed down as she looked around. "I wonder what I shoot it".

She srugged as she walked away. "Oh whatever"
