Chapter 13 - To the outside world.

It was a while, since Lisa came to visit Silver. Most of his days, passed trying to talk and cope with the facts that potions were harmful things to his body now.

Conversations with Sera were trying to make a entire history of the two of them being family. Ofcourse, there were inconsistencies, which were handled by Silver's blank memory. Things were going surprising well, since Sera sort of didn't care that she did not have any parents of anything...

"As long as I have you, this place, and my friends. I think everything else doesn't matter for me."

His recovery was quicker than expected, the able to walk without Sera's help in just 2 days.

Between thinking about different plans to start his mission, needing to hide his system screen to the ever curious Sera, and protect himself and find out more about the statement Alsana had left him with.

"Hm..."

Then and now, this mind would go back to the their first meeting.

"You should take more care of yourself." She had said after he was back on the bed.

Silver tried to remember and savour every second of that conversation, or more than that the person. Lisa was no doubt, the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.

"Maybe, if all things work out great. I get convince her to get back with me." He thought to himself.

Then came the barrage of dreams and fantasies, which for all his life Silver couldn't stop blushing at. Love was for not him in his adolescence, most of his life he thought he needed a women who could kick him down.

"But know I think I need a women that, hold me just like that." Silver in a second realised he said it out loud.

"Hmmm...." The booking reading Sera, raised her eyebrows with a tactful smile, her eyes teasing Silver to the core. She closed down her book, and placed it on her chair. Within the small collections of books, she picked up one and left it beside him and left the room.

Silver wanted to die of embarrassment at that moment, but he still made the courage to read the title of the book, "Tales of a boy who died without a alone."

--

After some days of working and walking around the entire apartment, eating nothing but meat, milk and vegetables for getting his nutrients back on track. Silver had new plans for himself.

"We are going to have a walk around to the area to see if my foot is actually healed. I can also this place around and find some work, the money Theresa won't last for us more than a 2 weeks now. We will need to leave this place soon."

"Why?? Can't we just ask Theresa to bring us more gold, I love sleeping in these silks beds... these remind me of something."

"I don't know where Theresa is right now, we need to money in order get money from her. The apartment is very expensive for it's size and quality of food. I think we should book out early and try to get some refund. I won't able to buy food and other things once we are out of money."

"Then go find a job or something? I don't want to leave this apartment. I think royalty like us should live in a apartment like this even if this it's considered luxury. We should live in that castle in the middle, that might be the place for us."

"Royalty? What are you talking about? We used to live in a old castle, but there was nothing special about it. There were large mountains always covered in the snow in the in all sides, and the conditions we used to live in were definitely not royalty's luxury level."

"hmm.... I remember something else. What was it?"

"Keep thinking and tell me if you remember something I don't. Anyways, I going out to see your kingdom, my royalty."

Saying this, dressed in his new brown t shirt, pants and black sunglasses. Walked out of the doors of his apartment. The hallways of the place was well furnished wooden hallways with crimson-black flags drawn on them, with a sigil of the a golden lion trying to eat a silver heart.

"Maybe is the flag of this nation."

He used the stairs to get the ground floor, after a quick request to the receptionist about not letting Sera runoff to her friend's place Mercy began in his journey into the open streets.

"It's quite packed in here." The streets were busling from all sides. The area was definitely a posh, people were dressed in proper suits, jacket, scarfs and sweaters. The wind and atmosphere was a little cold even if the sun was up.

"Alsana's cold spells has affected the area such beyond the walls themselves it seems."

The people as his system estimate did not have the system, were quite week in strength; but there was definitely some cases of high natural intelligence in some.

Also, the people in this world, we a bit larger and taller than Silver had expected, his height barely was above the ladies passing by him. "I was a tall guy in my world, but here I am barely big. Even Lisa is taller than me."

The streets were filled with proper stores instead of any open stalls, or vendors trading. Each place of eating, clothing wear, restroom and the inns all made a specific name attached to themselves.

"In my world, there is single one of these in a entire town. Owned by the guild, if anyone else tries to setup there own business, the guild either buys them or they are made to leave the town; by any means possible."

Silver definitely stood out in the fields of properly dressed men and women, he did fell like a frug addict walking around the town, but one paid any heed to him, so there no problem.

Silver walked across both elderly and the young, " Come to think of it, I might be wrong, Alsana's friends must be rich too. They did pay back our gold, in the next evening with a lot of sweets as gift."

In a while, as Silver walked across the notice board which was filled with different new posters and information.

"I this true that masked thieves are running around in the city?" Soon, Silver heard something ringed his ears.

"hm... it seems they are finding me."
