Chapter 46 - fallen companion

The battle went on, still the boys were not able to deal a major blow to the ogre's. The boys have received a lot of injuries trying to deliver one of there own. Once Asher was almost killed by the ogre.

" We can't keep going on like this" said Asher.

"You don't have to tell me" said nick dodging the ogre's club.

"You guys have the nerves to complain" shouted Ethan dodging the two ogre's.

One of the ogre's tried to smash Ethan with his wooden club but Ethan was able to side step the attack making him an easier target for the female ogre to attack.

The female ogre aim's her club straight at Ethan's head, aiming to crush it with a single blow.

Ethan tries to recover his balance before the ogre's attack reached him as he was running out of time.Ethan channeled most of his essence to his feet, hoping to have a chance at dodging the attack .

Ethan feet was covered in lighting and the sound of a lighting cracking could be heard.

Then was able to bend his body dodging the ogres attack by just a few inches.

Due to missing his target the female ogre was open leaving her defenseless which Ethan used against her.

Ethan was able to use this chance to aim at the ogre's heart at least where it should be.

Bending down Ethan lunged his hand forward, using his hand as a spear.

Ethan's hand went straight through the females chest and pierced right through her heart . Ethan immediately withdraw his hands before the other ogre turns to deliver another attack.

The female ogres body dropped down dead on the floor.

The three ogre's paused for a moment looking at the dead body of there companion

The ogres froze clearly reacting to the death of the female ogre.

The three ogre's screams which sounded more like a war cry. It was then that hell was unleashed as the ogre's want brisk no longer caring if the die, there only goal was to kill the invaders who killed there mate and the mother of there unborn children.
