The room was dim, lit only by the soft glow of the chandelier hanging above us, its light bouncing off the crystals and scattering little sparkles across the walls. Sara's luxury pink bed was like something out of a dream—so plush and soft that we sank into it, the satin sheets cool against my skin. The whole place screamed money: the massive fish tank in the middle of the hall, stretching long and wide with colorful fish gliding silently through the water, watching us like they knew something I didn't.
