I had a long conversation with Jack tonight. I told him about my concerns and my fears, and he listened patiently. He told me that he understands my worries and that he's willing to wait until I'm ready.
I felt a wave of relief wash over me as we talked. I realized that Jack isn't just trying to pressure me into having sex; he genuinely cares about me and my feelings.
We ended up cuddling on the couch, watching a movie together. It felt nice to just relax and enjoy each other's company without any pressure or expectations.
I'm still not sure when or if I'll be ready to take our relationship to the next level, but I feel more at ease knowing that Jack is willing to wait for me.
