The warm sunlight filtered through the canopy of towering oak trees, casting dappled shadows on the forest floor.
It looked really peaceful and comforting, but they knew they couldn't waste any more time.
"We can't stay here for long. We need to keep moving." he broke the silence.
She nodded in agreement.
"I've been thinking... according to the information I managed to gather before we escaped, this island is much larger than I thought. It's divided into sectors, each with its own town or settlement."
Lyra's eyebrows rose in interest. "How many are there?"
Neo's eyes narrowed as he tried to recall the details.
"I'm not really sure. Our best bet is to reach the main sector – it's supposed to be the largest and we could just use the road to find our way"
"The problem is the outbreak. Whoever's running this place will block the roads and the surrounding area to contain it."
He didn't expect a response from her, and instead, simply continued to think.
