Chapter 2: Huang Gang, The Skull-Splitting Hand
Jiang Tian had no control over what the other person was thinking before he died.
Right now, a fatal problem stood before him.
This group from the Starry Sky Gate was treacherous. They had set up a fake training school, but in reality, they were killing people and committing crimes.
So…
"Wasn't my tuition wasted?" Jiang Tian's mouth trembled slightly in anxiety. He kicked the debris on the ground in anger.
To support his dream, his parents had generously used their hard-earned money to pay for his tuition.
Now, he had no place to learn cooking, and his money was gone too.
"Damn it!" Jiang Tian angrily took out his phone and called the inspector general.
Leave professional matters to professionals.
Crack down on criminals and let the patrol officers handle it.
Hopefully, he could at least get his tuition back.
But no matter how many times Jiang Tian tried, there was no signal on his phone.
---
"It seems these Starry Sky Gate people came prepared… They even blocked the signal."
"Let's go out and check. If I leave this area, the signal should return."
Jiang Tian thought about it, put away his textbooks, and prepared to leave.
Just as he reached the classroom door, he turned back, picked up a large kitchen knife, and quietly walked out.
---
His classroom was at the very edge.
If he went down the stairs at the end of the teaching building and turned to the side, he would find the wall.
The wall wasn't high in Jiang Tian's eyes. With just one leap, he could jump over it.
But when he looked closely, he noticed strange patterns smeared with blood, faintly flashing a red glow.
---
"This place is blocked by a formation… No wonder there's no signal."
Jiang Tian looked up at the faint red barrier on the wall and muttered to himself.
Space-time disasters appeared, spiritual energy surged out, and technologies from various different worlds came along.
Formations were extraterrestrial technologies now widely used in human society.
Even Jiang Tian's mobile phone had a commercial formation for battery life, waterproofing, and durability.
Compared to his original world, the technology here had a mystical element.
---
"Student, why are you wandering around here instead of studying hard in class?"
A voice interrupted Jiang Tian's thoughts.
Jiang Tian turned around and saw a bald man in a suit slowly walking toward him.
The bald man was built like a tank, his massive muscles stretching his tight-fitting suit.
His tall figure blocked the sunlight, casting a shadow over Jiang Tian.
Jiang Tian looked up at the muscular man and spoke slowly:
"I suddenly have something urgent to do. I'm going home."
---
"Go home?" The bald man laughed, placing his large palm gently on Jiang Tian's head.
The next moment, his five fingers tightened, as if he were gripping a basketball.
"Your voice is too soft. I can't hear you."
The bald man looked at Jiang Tian expectantly, waiting for the screams to come.
This was his hobby.
The crisp sound of skulls shattering, combined with the screams of agony, was a beautiful melody to his ears.
He enjoyed it immensely.
---
Unfortunately, this time he was on patrol, so he couldn't go hunting in the classrooms himself.
That made him angry.
But he never thought he'd be so lucky—
He had found a lost student.
Thinking of the sweet sound to come, he trembled with anticipation.
But…
There was a sound, just not the one he expected.
Instead of a cracking skull, he heard a calm analysis.
---
"It seems my aura-sensing method for judging strength isn't bad."
"Judging by your aura, you're really not that strong."
The bald man was stunned.
Why was this student perfectly fine?
His fingers were turning white from pressing so hard!
---
Jiang Tian shook his head.
"It's actually quite comfortable. You should consider massage therapy—you could make a decent living. Why be a r****t?"
---
Massage therapy?
When the bald man heard that, blood rushed to his head in rage.
He felt utterly humiliated.
---
"You'll regret that!"
His face twisted with fury.
Withdrew his hands, gathered his strength, and—
Two massive palms slammed toward Jiang Tian's head.
A full-force attack!
He wanted to smash this kid's skull into pieces!
He wanted to bathe in his blood!
---
Swish!
The blade flashed.
Jiang Tian moved faster than the bald man expected.
Just as the palms struck forward, Jiang Tian stepped back and swung the kitchen knife.
Clang!
The sound of metal clashing echoed.
The kitchen knife snapped in two.
The blade flew away.
---
Jiang Tian raised an eyebrow.
The knife… broke?
Was this the warrior physique of this world?
---
Before Jiang Tian could think more, he threw away the broken knife and charged forward.
This was a life-or-death battle.
No time to hesitate.
---
Meanwhile, Huang Gang—the bald man—was in shock.
His rage vanished the moment he heard the knife break.
It was like a bucket of cold water dumped on his head.
This student nearly cut off my hand… with a kitchen knife?!
If the knife had been better, his hand would be gone.
---
Impossible!
This is just a high school student!
How was he so strong?
This kid hadn't even awakened yet!
How did he…
---
Before Huang Gang could react, Jiang Tian reached him.
In a flash, Jiang Tian grabbed his wrist—
Crack!
His wrist shattered!
A sharp pain surged through Huang Gang's body.
He opened his mouth to scream—
But Jiang Tian covered it.
---
The tall and burly man was forced to the ground.
His huge body trembled with fear.
---
Huang Gang struggled.
Jiang Tian let go—only to throw two lightning-fast punches!
Crack!
His shoulder snapped.
Then—
Bang!
His knee shattered.
---
Huang Gang opened his mouth to scream again—
But Jiang Tian covered it once more.
"Shh, shh, shh…"
His voice was soft, almost comforting.
---
Jiang Tian whispered:
"The road to the underworld is cold. Accompanying those innocent people you killed might be the only atonement left for you."
---
Crack!
Huang Gang, the Skull-Splitting Hand, died of suffocation.
