After some time, the gang split up and Justin and Mark headed home. While Tiffany and Kaylee got in Tiffany's car as the two headed back to their own apartment.
The car ride was as silent as the grave, and neither Tiffany nor Kaylee made any type of comment towards each other.
Kay this time definitely wouldn't be apologizing, and Tiffany knew she wasn't going to neither. She felt as though that was unnecessary to do.
The two rod all the way to the apartment in silence and even when they arrived, they got out the car in silence too. Kay, would quickly walk up the stairs, as Tiffany followed suit.
Kaylee unlocking their apartment door, not being rude enough to close the door directly behind her. Although that thought crossed her mind to slam the door on Tiffany's face.
Tiffany walked inside— and locked the door behind her, and once Kaylee saw that she did, she decided to let her have it.
" Okay! You wanna tell me what the hell that was all about ?! " Kaylee exclaimed.
Tiffany shifting her orbs to look at Kaylee, as Kaylee looked pissed.
" What are you talking about? " Tiffany stated acting dumbfounded.
Which only made Kaylee more pissed off, as she pasted around the apartment a bit. Tiffany placing her bag, purse and keys down on the countertop.
" Really ! Tiff ! We doing this dumb blonde shit ? " Kaylee remarked.
" What the fuck are you talking about? What dumb blonde shit? You act like I'm suppose to know what you're referring to! " Tiffany said a bit angrily.
" Ivaander bitch ! I'm talking about Ivaander ! " Kaylee said aloud mad.
" Ah. Swear word. " Tiffany said with a chuckle and a gotcha look.
" Not now bitch ! " Kaylee replied.
" Ahaha— okay what exactly are you— "
" Ugh! Dammit Tiffany ! For someone who claims they are my so called ' best friend ' you don't act like one ! Why the fuck would you go and invite Ivaander and then do that sneaky little look at me like I wasn't gonna pick up on it ! " Kaylee explained.
" Okay first of all, how dare you even state that I'm not your ' best friend ' because that's hurtful in itself. Secondly — since you wanna go there how you are going to claim your mines— when you know how I feel about him! " Tiffany replied back.
" What?! About who! " Kay asked.
" Ivaander bitch! " Tiffany remarked as she walked into the kitchen, and opened the fridge looking for her juice.
" What?! Are you serious right now ! " Kay proclaimed aggressively.
" Dead! Serious, bitch! " Tiffany replied back towards her, as she turned around and looked at Kay.
Kay couldn't believe what she was hearing right now, but this was typical Tiffany behavior. As soon as she is being caught— she shifts the blame off herself and unto others.
" You know what— you are unbelievable right now. " Kaylee told her, as she walked down the hallway but not before Tiffany stopped her.
" What?! I'm unbelievable? How about you! " Tiffany said towards Kaylee, as Kaylee squinted her orbs down.
" What?! " Kaylee remarked, as Tiffany pretended to be Kaylee and flip her hair again and again, trying to mock Kaylee.
" Oh look at me— I'm a sweet innocent girl— who is crushing on Ivaander and going to pretend to be oblivious about it knowing Tiffany liked him first~ " Tiffany mocked.
" You never liked him first that was m- " Kaylee was about to say, before she stopped herself, as Tiffany placed her arms folded on her chest.
" What? Go ahead and say it ! " Tiffany barked.
" Ugh! Tiff you have Bradley! We have been over this! I can't believe how selfish and egotistical you're being right now. " Kaylee said.
" You knew I told you that he was cute! You knew I been spending a lot of time trying to talk to him and you just what? Jump right in and think it's okay! " Tiffany told her.
" I am aware I have Bradley, but as a girlfriend code you should know if a girl is crushing on a guy that doesn't give the friend the room to leap in and take him for herself ! "
" I am not taking anybody !!! " Kaylee screamed.
" Then why are you so upset with me when I invited Ivaander !!! " Tiffany replied screaming back.
" Because you only invited him for your own selfish agenda! You didn't invite him out the kindness of your heart ! You did it thinking Ivaander and I had something going on! " Kaylee explained.
" Well do you !?! " Tiffany shouted back.
" No!!!! " Kaylee also shouted back.
Tiffany listening to Kaylee as the two got extremely closed together in one another's faces as Tiffany walked past Kaylee.
The two went silent between each other before Tiffany kept her back towards Kaylee and slowly turned around. Kaylee, looking over at Tiffany as Tiffany sighed.
" .... Well good. — But then why were you two holding hands for so long? It was like some lovely dovey shit going on. " Tiffany questioned.
Kaylee didn't want to tell Tiffany that she enjoyed holding Ivaander's hand, and it gave her a feeling of security and also an emotion she couldn't explain.
It wasn't love, but it definitely felt something much more stronger than that. She also couldn't tell Tiffany that she enjoyed his company, and liked speaking to him.
That he was shrouded in mystery, and made her question things about herself she didn't realize he seen in her. Not to mention, she had questions she wanted to ask him.
Although, that would only upset Tiffany, as Tiffany was a jealous ass girl. So all Kaylee could do was shrug at her reply and thought of something to say.
" I don't know, we just — like I said— I was just trying to get him away from you guys because he's a foreigner Afterall— I don't want you guys scaring him off. You know how blunt our friend group is. "
Tiffany looked at Kaylee, as Kaylee tried to keep a calm and also collected expression. She didn't even want to give Tiffany the slightest thought that she was lying to her.
" ... Well— yeah... our group can be loud sometimes — aha. " Tiffany stated with a bit of a laugh.
" Uh- yeah, ya think. " Kay replied.
Tiffany sighed with a bit of relief as she walked over towards their couch and flopped down on it. Kaylee slowly walking over as she sat in their low furry chair watching Tiffany.
Tiffany was quiet for a little moment, before she rotated her body around and looked up towards Kaylee.
" I'm sorry about that— but you know how I get with my future man's. " she teased a bit. Kaylee was hearing nothing but a delusional woman talking.
Although she would never tell Tiffany those words aloud, as even though Tiffany was a pain in the ass. Kaylee had her fair share of problems and Tiffany was by her side in the end.
" .... Yeah I know... " Kaylee softly replied, which made Tiffany get up from the couch and approach her. Bending down a bit to look at Kaylee in her face.
" Friends? " Tiffany said.
Kaylee looking directly in Tiffany's eyes as the girl nodded with a small grin.
" Friends. " Kaylee told her, as the two hugged briefly as Tiffany quickly got up and exhaled some air.
" Good, now that— that shits out the way— ah-haha you said a swear word — two actually ! So I win! " Tiffany proclaimed as she quickly rushed down the hallway.
" ... Yeah.. you make me say one at least once... " Kaylee commented in a mumble, as her mind wondered elsewhere.
" I'm headed out for a little while ! I'm going to go see Brad at his game, and then I'm headed to the mall for a new fit for tonight's party. " Tiffany explained aloud in her room.
Kaylee continued to play with her fingernails a bit before she reached for the remote and thought about turning on the tv but decided not. Slowly she rose from the couch as Tiffany walked back down the hallway.
" .. Okay. " Kaylee remarked.
" We good right? " Tiffany asked a bit confused as Kaylee sounded depressed almost.
" Hm.. oh.. yeah— sorry I'm just— I don't know thinking too hard I guess. "
" Ugh— such an over thinker—- you always been that way. " Tiffany replied, making Kaylee eye her words.
" Anyways, I'll be back to pick you up at 8:00pm, so we can head to the party. " Tiffany stated.
" And where is it? " Kaylee questioned.
" Down by the lake house, just on the outskirts of LA. It's a long drive almost 45 minutes which is why I'm picking you up at 8. " Tiffany explained.
" Ah.. " was all Kaylee could say.
" Yeah, so make sure you are ready ! Anyways chow, don't wait up~ " Tiffany remarked with a wink as she headed for the door and unlocked it.
Kaylee watching her silently before Tiffany closed the door behind her and walked away. Kaylee walking towards her front door and locking it behind Tiffany.
Kaylee didn't know what to think anymore, and for the first time she was done trying to. She wish she was like Tiffany sometimes, and didn't let her thoughts take over.
How easily it was for Tiffany to change a subject, or to not let small issues, or big issues affect her mood. Although, she felt Tiffany didn't care for anyone but herself.
Which explains why her personality was what it was. Caring for others meant that Kaylee could understand and have empathy.
That didn't seem to be the case for Tiffany, or perhaps Kaylee just thought so. The girl would eventually walk away from the door and proceed down the hall to her room.
All she wanted to do now was take her mind off Tiffany's words, and Ivaander. If she could do that, she could go back to the same old Kaylee.
Her focus needed to be on her graduating anyways, and the last thing she needed was a guy ruining that for her.
