Chapter 86 - The Wrath of the Heavens

◇◇◇

[Ruins of the Holy Temple – Midnight]

The sacred temple was no more.

Once a beacon of divine power, now it lay in flames.

The air crackled with divine energy, an ominous pressure descending upon the world.

Leonhardt stood amidst the destruction, his crimson eyes burning with challenge.

Celestia leaned against him, giggling. "Ohoho~ The gods must be furious now~"

BOOM.

A deafening roar echoed through the sky.

A golden portal split open above them—a divine gate.

And from within—descended the first god.

◇◇◇

A radiant figure emerged, clad in golden armor, his wings spanning the sky.

His voice boomed with authority.

"Mortal scum. You have defied the heavens."

Leonhardt smirked. "Took you long enough."

Arathos pointed his spear. "Kneel and repent. Or perish."

The ground trembled as a holy domain expanded—crushing pressure forced weaker soldiers to their knees.

But Leonhardt stood firm.

Celestia licked her lips.

"Mmmh~ This divine energy is delicious~"

Evelyn stepped forward, her face pale. "Leonhardt, we should retreat—"

Leonhardt ignored her.

He raised his hand.

And beside him—Ironhorn roared.

◇◇◇

The Indomitable Rhino glows with a dark crimson light.

Celestia grinned. "Oh my~ Is it happening?"

CRACK.

Ironhorn's body expanded, his once-sturdy hide transformed into obsidian armor.

His single horn—now a jagged, demonic blade.

The ground shattered beneath his monstrous weight.

Leonhardt smirked. "Come, Ironhorn. Let's kill a god."

BOOM!

Arathos descended like a meteor, his spear aimed at Leonhardt's heart.

Ironhorn charged, his massive horn colliding with divine steel—a shockwave erupted.

Celestia raised her hands—black chains surged, wrapping around the god's wings.

"Ara~ Not so fast~"

Arathos struggled, his golden aura burning against Celestia's restraints.

Leonhardt appeared in front of him.

His fist glowed with dark energy.

CRACK!

A single punch—Arathos was sent flying.

Blood—divine blood—spilled onto the battlefield.

The sky darkened.

Arathos—**a god of judgment—was wounded.

Leonhardt wiped his fist, his expression calm. "Not so divine now, are you?"

Arathos gritted his teeth. "Y-You… monster…!"

Leonhardt walked forward.

Ironhorn lowered his horn.

Celestia whispered seductively, "Finish him, Darling~"

Leonhardt smirked.

"As you wish."

And with one final attack—the first god was slain.

As Arathos' corpse fell—

The heavens cracked open.

And from the void—thousands of divine figures emerged.

A woman's voice echoed, cold and merciless.

"You have crossed the line, Leonhardt Valtara."

Celestia shivered in excitement. "Kyaa~ More playthings~"

Leonhardt looked up.

And with a smirk, he raised his sword.

"Come, gods. Let's end this."
