Chapter 5 - CHAPTER 5 ~~~ " The Crimson Veil and the Warrior’s Call"

PREVIOUSLY :

"The things you said were true. Now Earth is in the modern era, the 21st century. Here, most people have gained knowledge and empathy for others, but still, there are many cruel things happening on Earth too. The thing is, modern rape victims suffer more than you think," Agamuro said in a sad tone.

"I believe it's far worse than you think here. Women are not safe here either. There are a lot of rapes going on in this dimension too. But the thing is, you can't die here," Mahiru said.

"What? Wait, so I can't get killed here?" Agamuro asked with a confused and curious look on his face.

"Yes, you can't get killed, and you can't take your own life. You will die when your body gives up on its own. In other words, you will die naturally. And you don't age fast in this world. Most people's bodies give up after 10,000 years in Kaskodomi," Mahiru said.forgotted the

Then Uriahmi can't kill me, right?" Agamuro asked desperately.

"The thing is, you can't get killed, but you can get sealed or suffer a suffering seal. The suffering seal is worse. You would be sealed, but your consciousness would keep getting killed, and it will repeat, causing you to suffer. However, you would have forgotten the previous memory of death, keeping you new to pain every time, causing endless suffering. The pain would be forgotten, but not the moments," Mahiru said.

"Anyways, Agamuro, you shouldn't stress too much. Just sleep today. Tomorrow, we will go to see the speech of the warrior leader at the courthouse," Mahiru said while smiling.

"Yes, sir," Agamuro replied.

Mahiru went out of the room, closing Agamuro's door.

Agamuro stared at the ceiling while lying in bed, thinking, "Why do all the bad and unlucky things keep happening to me? I just want to live happily without any problems. I'm not saying I'm the only one who has problems, but I have always had problems since the beginning of my life."

Agamuro let out a big sigh and turned his head towards the balcony. His eyes were focused on the impressive view of garden flowers., but his mind was trying to grasp the impressiveness of it. Agamuro said to himself, "A sight like this in my life is once in a while, without problems."

Agamuro's thoughts were filled with poems inspired by the scenario. He said, "All I wanted was a life without problems, but now I am here, watching you dance with the wind, move towards the sun, sleep in disasters that can kill your lifespan. Yes, this is how you and I are connected. We both have problems, but I am filth that nobody gets near, while you are the happiness of people around you."{ agamuro compared his life to flowers life in garden}

Agamuro slowly drifted into sleep. His mind was full of the garden and the red moon. Agamuro was not a nature lover back on Earth. He used to hate things because people used to compare nature's bad aspects with him. In the end, Agamuro lost interest. How can you blame a person who lost interest in themselves for losing interest in other things too?

Sun rises...

Agamuro woke up, did his morning deeds, and went downstairs for breakfast. He arrived early, but the maids had already prepared the food. He ate as if he had never seen food before and then went back to his room to change his clothes to meet with the warrior leader.

Agamuro was not sure who this warrior leader was, what his job was, or why Mahiru was asking him to meet him.

Agamuro was also not comfortable meeting Mahiru because yesterday he had completely ignored Mahiru's request to become Karasmathian and instead decided to ask him questions.

Agamuro was not usually embarrassed about something. On Earth, he usually didn't give a fuck because he knew everyone hated him. He was an extroverted person, but here, he wanted others to think of him as perfect or reliable. He didn't want to show his weak side. He also had an insecurity complex due to discrimination against him on Earth, and now, seeing the powers others had, it made him even more insecure.

Agamuro finished dressing and went downstairs to see Mahiru.

Mahiru was eating his breakfast, already dressed up.

"Hey, good morning, Agamuro," Mahiru said with a smile.

Agamuro replied, "Good morning, sir. You are earlier than I expected."

"Oh, I am always like this," Mahiru said.

"Come eat breakfast, Agamuro. We have to leave soon. The speech is about to start in 15 minutes," Mahiru said while chewing his food.

"Sir, I have already eaten. I came before you and ate," Agamuro replied while scratching his head and smiling.

"Oh, then I am late," Mahiru said.

"Oh no, sir, I was early. Take your time," Agamuro replied with a generous smile.

"Sure, I will take my time," Mahiru said with a devious smile.

Time passed in the long dining hall. A long table separated them. Agamuro was sitting opposite Mahiru while Mahiru ate. Agamuro constantly looked at the clock and Mahiru's face.

After 10 minutes, Mahiru was done eating.

"The speech is about to start in five minutes, and we haven't even left the house," Agamuro thought to himself.

"Then shall we go?" Mahiru asked.

"We should hurry, I think, because there are only five minutes left," Agamuro replied in a hurry.

"Ah, no problem. We will be there in no time. Did you forget what happened four days ago?" Mahiru replied.

"I know you can run at the speed of light, but we have to use a vehicle, right?" Agamuro asked Mahiru.

"In this situation, no vehicle will reach there in time. There is no option other than running," Mahiru replied with a smirk.

Mahiru carried Agamuro like before and started to run. Just like before, he started slowly but then increased his pace. Like before, everything went black to Agamuro's eyes, but he didn't faint this time.

Just as Mahiru had said earlier, they reached the event venue in no time. They even had time to search for their seats in the crowd. Finally, they found their seats and sat down.
