One step at a time. First, Sasha. Then, Selene and Isabelle. And finally, Nathaniel. I would use him just like he planned to use me—a pawn in a bigger game.
I straightened, brushing off the dust from my dress. No more tears. No more weakness. I had been a victim for too long. Now, it was my turn to fight back.
