It's been five months since I finally figured out how to use chantless magic freely and since that day my life almost felt repeated everyday like this.
I wake up in the morning as I try to move out of the crib, only to find two hands carrying me to the kitchen. There, either Mom or Lilla feeds me after that.
Lilla cleans me up and changes my clothes. If the room is warm, she washes me with a warm, wet towel. (This world isn't very civilized in this regard.)
After that, if Dad is free, he talks to me of the greatness of the sword and his adventures—but for some reason, sometimes I feel he's advertising something in the middle of his words, like adults do. Especially, when he talks about Elinalisa or Ghislaine. He only mentions these parts if Mom isn't near. (Which proves my theory more).
If Dad isn't available, Lilla asks me to choose one of the four books they've approved for me to read. She either reads the selected book to me or lets me figure it out on my own. Originally, there were five books, but only four are allowed.
From [The Legend of Perigruies], who is apparently one of the heroes who sealed Satan in this world. Laplace lost five of his comrades fighting him. The book summarizes the story in one sentence: a fairy tale of strong individuals sacrificing themselves to save humanity from demons.
The next book is [The Three Swordsmen and the Labyrinth], which talks about swordsmen and their styles.
And apparently the style Dad calls The Rat style is The North style, The style's creator was one of Perigruies' surviving comrades. And Dad's favorite style focuses on very strong offense and weak defense, according to its logic and the limited information I have about it.
I can say the people who favor this style are musclehead types. With utmost respect to my father. The style's philosophy is literally 'attack now, think later. No comment. I hope Dad doesn't fight an unbeatable opponent with this style.
The second style is the Water God style, and based on my approach to life. think I would be a great user of that style. The style's philosophy is defense first and counter attack later. The style depends on a person's quick mind and precise reactions.
It's the perfect counter for the Sword God Style, and it's rare when two swordsmen—one from Sword God Style and one from Water God Style—fights at equal power levels, and the Sword God Style user wins.
(Also, for some reason, Lilla looks at the style's illustrated poses with melancholy. Was she a swordswoman?)
Lastly, the North God style, also called the ruffian or rat style by Dad, isn't orthodox style by any means. It depends on creating tactics and adapting in mid fighting opponents. (Adaptability served me well in my past life. So why is this style hated?). Some practitioners use the style without swords yet still earn the title, though this is rare.
Apparently, there's something called 'fighting spirit' in this world, a power that makes swordsmen stronger and sturdier, rendering high-level practitioners nearly unbeatable.
This style counters Water God but falters against Sword God. Is this some rock-paper-scissors dynamic?
This book covers labyrinths—how they form, what to expect inside, and how to boost your survival chances. It emphasizes the most crucial preparations for any labyrinth and dedicates a section to the journey toward the boss room itself. In some cases, the boss room is called the 'Arena Battlefield,' where entry means no escape until the boss is slain. The book also details potential treasures, what to realistically expect, and what not to hope for. (For example, early rooms may contain a magical monster called a Mimic, which disguises itself as a chest—the book advises breaking chests from a distance to avoid danger.)
However, the book doesn't focus heavily on labyrinths. Instead, it prioritizes swordsmanship, featuring advanced-level poses and illustrations. It then recounts the original Sword Gods' expedition through an "unbeatable" labyrinth before concluding with limited labyrinth insights. This book describes sword styles and labyrinth details. Also, it's the only book Dad reads to me. (But the book leave many unanswered questions both about Lilla, and labyrinths dad on his story telling alone told me fout times the information).
Setting aside that book's unanswered questions, I move to the next one. Next is 'Fittioa Region Monsters: Ecosystem and Weaknesses'. And one of the monsters in the book explains the scar on Father's chest.
Apparently, normal animals like those from my past world exist here, but mana transforms them into monsters. This region has 2 kinds of monsters commonly found which are hunting dogs which are oversized wolves that can stand up and they fight in packs that can reach number of 30 if kept unattended. The next one will be terminator boar which usually will be the leader of either former monster or normal boars. It's very strong compared to the former reaching the rank of C-rank monsters; it rarely fights in groups only if a strong terminator boar appears and controls a pack of them.
Both monsters have very strong limbs and strong fangs avoidable at all costs, good to note. Their guts and necks are their weak points. Sometimes on rare occasions where something called mutated monster have something called mana stone. Which is apparently used as mana fast rechargeable way to magician but they need detoxify magic after that and for beginners the must expect to vomit and the very weak people is expected to vomit blood. And strongest C-rank monster mana stone can recharge to 3 advanced spells. And weakest in C-rank is 1 advanced spell at least.
Mana stones are said to have almost all uses in everything but never explained in detail in this book. Last good info on the book is that all monsters meats are edible but the terminator one is tasty. Except for the goblin meat need detoxify magic to remove it's poisonous nature.
The next book is 'travelling around the world' this book is illustrated book on some of it's late pages even have the drawing of this world and apparently this one is flat one. Almost 20% of my past world will be celebrating if they were on my place now. Okay in this world there are 5 continents, and one big sea in the middle called ringus sea. There are small islands and small seas but they are not mentioned with details in the book.
Okay for the important stuff in this world 6 used languages which known as.
Human god tongue, Beast god tongue, Fighting god tongue, Demon god tongue, Sea god tongue and Sky god tongue
Excuse the 'god tongue' said with every language like the swordsmen book also mean people love the name god. On their names on this world and strongest person from every race or fighting style is usually called god. With his style or race. Like Laplace the Demon god of this world. Or like north god the strongest person on north god style who had the name and apparently he is either immortal or this name is inheritance between very strong individuals. Before forgetting there are rare languages like the miguridian race on the demon continent or hand language in the central continent or the most rare one is the dragon god tongue which went extinct with the race but some of their ruins can still be found and their language is sculpted there. (It's like Egyptian holographic words about pharos).
Also there are many races in this world but the most in numbers will be like this.
Humans, which I'm from
Beast people are mix between people and animal some people will be crazy for seeing them (not interested in them by the way).
Also Some racists people count elves and other races as either beast people or demons. And since they all talk beast god tongue they count them all as one. (Well I'm human and it's not my problem but I won't stay silent in front of prejudice).
Demon races which have too many races to count and many of them either extinct or almost extinct and all the races including them scared of bogeyman of this world the superds. They were the henchmen of Laplace in the last war on killing everything that moves.
Sea people who apparently are not very open minded with the other races especially humans because of bad blood from very old times called the second demon war which is equivalent to world war 2 in this world and it was 3000 years ago.
Sky people, a very isolated race. And sometimes accept kind hearted people after years of tests. Only humans so far are allowed there. (after the tests). And they only respect the friends of Perigruies.
And some extinct races like the dragon races are rarely seen. The last known one is Urupen who apparently sacrificed his life to save his comrades in the fighting vs Laplace.
With all of this reading I can proudly read human tongue in this world. Which I think is a rare feat at this age but I'm not normal in the first place. Also on some rare occasions mom left the 5th book the magic in front of me unattended. So, I can read it but I read it. In silence and mom usually takes the book away before dad comes home.
Magic in this world, like swordsmanship, has 7 levels. Beginner level, intermediate level, advanced level, saint level, king level, emperor level and god level in this book the strongest one is 4 advanced level spells which are earth fortress which is defensive spell earth spell. And the water one is weather spell which is named 'blizzard storm'. And the wind spell is sonic boom. The final one is exodus flames which is fire spell.
I memorised all non fire beginner level chants which are water ball, water arrow, ice sword, ice lance, earth lance, earth bullet, gust, wind slice and windball. And I can use them in secret. Water ball I do it on used diapers and ice sword I lick it then drop it to melt on the sun, earth bullets never leave my hand after making them like getting ammo on stone throwing fight out of thin air. The air spells ones have no effects if used in secret. And with no target. After that the water wall and water arrow since also I can't make them leave my hand so they also have no effects on anything.
Also worth mentioning I can now use magic from all of my four limbs and I can feel mana now. As it's called in this world. Also thier are circuits in all of my body really like nervous system but combined with circulatory system I still can't understand how strange is the inside build in this world of humans when I'm old enough maybe I will dissect a human body from the inside. For science reasons I will explore it.
Also I can overcharge spells like how I overcharge healing my lung with intermediate healing spell and voola after a full year and some natural fast healing of children. The hole on my lung is no longer producing pain but a very small almost unnoticeable one is there in its place.
Also my mana reserves is nothing like said on the book where they said mana is set since birth and my mana reserve triples everyday I think I can stay for 3 minutes straight using X-Healing without suffer mana exhaustion. And also apparently my sleepy state that I create with magic is called magic exhaustion. And I shouldn't push myself too much on this because probably I may die if I did.
Also for some reason I can over power my spells or make them weaker. One time I was using X-Healing I got the Idea of overloading the spell with all my mana in one go. Thankfully Lilla had closed the door and left and mom and dad were busy. Because I unintentionally had lit the whole house for 3 seconds green and as for the effect it healed my lung by 10% in one go.
If I do it twice more I think I will be healthy child but it's high risk high return. From what I understand dad and mom made a promise that I will be knight as dad. But, if I want to pursue magic that's mean I will drop the sword and if you want my opinion. I want both but unfortunately for me that world don't know this term. (Yet).
Also something I realised about the god of north he is a user of gravity magic which I can't find a single info about. And my child inside has almost 1000 ideas of how I use it but I will have to wait. Until, I can discover its secret. The only new secret I discovered on my own. Is that you can realise mana without realising a spell which is useless.
Like why I will sacrifice my mana for no reason except. If I want to waste the mana like daily without raising suspicions.
When I fell I hit the bottle neck or I did something amazing in magic I will tell my family. Also since I started walking I have tried to walk as much as I can now I can climb up and down stairs of the house on my own. And even I almost can run for 5 meters. Then, fall on my knees but I continue to crawl the last bit. Also my crawling speed is almost 1m/s. When running, I can run with crawling for 20 minutes without any problems. Also Lilla told me she was scared of me always calling her from either next to her or under her or even right in her back. (Thinking about it). I was scaring her for no single reason. So, I solved my bad habit. (I think).
Also I make an ice sword in secret and repeat low-level moves that dad does and if I want to describe it. It's Very hard that my arms are almost sore all the time. But my arms strength and grip got better and unintentionally it increased my writing grip for better. In secret I think I can call myself literated person. Since I can write and read every single word in the human tongue.
Well it's good I have great talent in learning languages. Because that's a really new high score in one year I can read and write and even talk in one year. Everyone in the house thinks I can barely read letters but being a reincarnated person I fully understand how to build words with what I know. But I still have problems with double meaning words until now.
Also mom since the day she caught Paul teaching me the Greyrat way with females she started to teach me millis faith whenever she got the chance. (Father one day I will get my revenge on you made mom blame me for something I still 17 year early).
Also to my disappointment they don't celebrate birthdays year in this world. They just remarked that today is my birthday no more no less. (What cheapskates, wait or they just expected I will die, so they forget about my birthday?).
Also I started calling mom 'mommy' and its effect is unbelievable, almost scary with this I can ask anything and expect. Yes, as an answer. And if asked for something I know she want to refuse. I will go for the next choice calling her pretty. And add please to my words and don't ask me. How I can now. somehow I can now make stars in my eyes. I add them when I'm asking for favours. And believe me with this I asked her to stop feeding me both the traditional way and the nursing way. And finally after that, they started to treat me as grown up and all of the household agrees.
(I should have followed the high school teacher who advised me to continue acting not as a side hobby but as a job I can quite literally control the whole house alone).
Also I started calling Lilla. "Ms Lilla". For the simple reason that I owe her a really big favour and if she tells my family everything I will be in trouble. She protested at first when I called her with respect. But, when she realised where I'm coming from she kept silent.
When I'm angry with Paul I call him 'father' in normal situations I call him 'dad'. I'm saving 'daddy' for a big occasion or a big favour. Other than that I know how to control him by asking advice about swords or praising him or the swordsmanship.
If you want my honest opinion I love all of them very much. I can't live without any of them. In this one year I grown very fond of them all.
Well today is my birthday and In this world. You can't leave the house before you are at least 1 year old. Because of the fear of illness and curses and tradition (apparently this has something to do about being in this world in the middle of dark ages).
Also I asked dad to show me swordsmanship from now on and mom was the most happy. That I didn't need her healing for 5 months and I was finally healthy the day she realised I had been cured she hugged me very tight again cracking two of my ribs for the second time. (I'm scared, I think I'm gonna cry for real).
Also I did caught Lilla do questionable acts on the master bedroom. But, I just moved without producing sound. And when mom was going for the next floor I made one. Lilla realised I helped her she smiled at me then nodded her head then continued her job. (I feel like I just finished 1% of my debt).
For the people who are going to ask about the house architecture here, the house consists of 4 rooms on the upper floor which includes a study belongs to dad and a guest room. Leaving only room for me and a big room for mom and dad and I want somehow to suggest for them to build thicker walls. But without raising suspicions or at the very least a suggestion to close the door. (If anything I hate my new photographic memory).
My room is very spacious for me but I love the free space in the first place. I just hope they either build an extension to the house or to move to a bigger one. Before getting my third brother or fourth sister because I don't want to share a room where they have curiosity about what they saw and ask me what they are doing. (I won't be able to answer them).
Don't blame me if I tell them they are playing. But the problem if my sibling asked me to play the same game. With them. Which is a very bad idea.
And if I told him they are arguing since they say very bad words to each other while sleeping with each other. Maybe I will traumatise the child.
Maybe saying I don't know will be the best answer. Thinking about it he may interrupt them to ask them what they are doing. Still a bad idea ahhhh..

And that's how is my have been and what I had done in this period finished 4 books and become literature in new language discovered the house fully grasped everyone character in the house and my first birthday is no different than any day except the put me plate on the table and made the dinner table extra graceful than normal.
