Jax felt nothing when he finished killing the last of the remaining 4 beasts. It was supposed to be a duel, but he had easily killed them all after using his spell and restricting them of all motion.
Once all six of the beasts were dead at his feet, Jax turned to look at the boss that still remained on the throne.
The large kobold stared at him for a long time before slowly standing up. At its full height, the beast was nearly 8 feet tall. That was over 2 feet taller than what Jax was.
It stepped down from the throne, walking over to the barren ground where its subordinates had died, its armor clanking with each step. It stopped just a short distance beyond where Jax could use his spell, and suddenly stomped its feet.
The ground trembled at its stomp, and from behind the chair walked out a small kobold, with brown clothes wrapping its decrepit body, using a cane to keep itself up.
Jax frowned. There were still more kobolds around? He would have to be careful.
